Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1186: If this is what people call... Love. Then Yeah, Pervert!

Third Person’s POV

A strange warmth bloomed in her chest... spreading slowly, curling like smoke through every inch of her body.

There was a gentleness soaking into her skin... an unwanted, unfamiliar softness that wrapped itself around her like silk she couldn’t tear off.

Her eyes were wide, shimmering. Her entire body trembled, barely holding itself together, and tears threatened to spill without mercy.

Her tail—once proud, always flicking with seductive fire and teasing defiance—now drooped down, lifeless... defeated.

She bit her lower lip hard, sinking her fangs in just enough to taste her own blood. It grounded her, just barely.

Her heart fluttered. Not with joy. It was painful. Like it wanted to take off, but her chest was a cage. A beautiful, aching cage.

She wanted to say it.

The words hovered right there, so close they burned the edge of her tongue.

She really wanted to say them.

But they were heavy.

Too heavy.

They weren’t just words. They were everything. The truth, the vulnerability, the surrender.

And yet... look at the bastard.

He was still smiling. Still looking at her like she was something precious.

Like she was a treasure meant to be worshipped, not a broken thing trying to piece herself back together.

She took a trembling step forward and lowered her head. Her long bangs fell in front of her eyes, hiding the chaos inside her... just like always.

Her feelings were a storm behind a curtain, too wild to tame... too shameful to reveal.

”I... I don’t know how to name this,” she whispered, voice shaking.

”How do you even call these feelings?”

Her breath hitched, her fingers clenching tightly at her sides.

”Yes... I smiled when you told me to seduce you... or rather, when I begged you to fuck me.” Her voice cracked. ”That stupid grin on your face... I liked it. It made me feel like I mattered.”

She looked up briefly, eyes wet, then back down.

”Yes... I got annoyed... No! furious—when you didn’t look at me properly. When your eyes skimmed over me like I was just another body. Even worse... were you even seducing me? Hah.. aha”

Her voice dropped lower, each word digging deeper into her heart.

”And yes... I was... I am jealous. So fucking jealous it hurts. When you fucked that other succubus like s-she was the only one who ever mattered. Like she could give you something I-I couldn’t.”

”And... Y-Yes... I’m in p-pain... real pain... when I saw you smile at another lovely girl... but not me...”

She finally looked up.

Her tears caught the light, sparkling like fragile jewels. Her gaze met Aether’s, and for a split second, he flinched.

Maybe from the intensity. Maybe from guilt. Maybe because for the first time, she let him see her.

”I-If this... if this is what people call... l-love...”

She smiled then. A real one. The kind she’d never shown before—not even to her beloved Ashara. It wasn’t seductive, It wasn’t playful.

It was raw... tender... painfully honest.

”Then I... I love you, Pervert.”

Aether blinked, stunned for a breath before a soft smile curled his lips. He shook his head slowly, like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.... ’Pervert?’ And then, without warning, he stepped forward and wrapped her in a hug.

His arms were warm. Gentle. Comforting in a way she never imagined they could be.

She trembled.

She’d touched him countless times before. Fought him. Teased him. Even sucked him. But this—this warmth, this softness—it felt foreign.

It felt like something she’d never been allowed to feel.

And yet... she didn’t push him away.

She embraced it.

She buried her face into his chest and breathed him in.

”For the mistakes I’ve made...” his voice was quiet, tender. ”Tell me what you want. Anything. Whatever it is, I’ll grant it without hesitation... after all,” he paused, gaze steady and sure,

”Nightfire is the woman I love.”

She froze.

Her breath caught in her throat.

He said it.

He finally... finally fucking said it.

Her lips parted. Her body swayed slightly, as if the air had left the room and taken her balance with it. Her throat went dry, burning like she’d swallowed fire.

Her pulse thundered in her veins, loud enough to drown everything else.

Her heart felt like glass.

So fragile.

Like one more step forward and it might shatter completely.

Aether tilted his head slightly, eyes soft, voice gentler than she had ever heard.

”What is it? What do you want, Nightfire?”

She bit down on her lip again, but this time it wasn’t to stop herself from crying.... It was to stop the feelings from spilling out all at once.

Words she had never spoken out loud finally crawled from her mouth, barely above a whisper.

”I-I want you to smile at me...”

Those words weren’t from the succubus inside her.

They were hers.

Pure.

Vulnerable.

Aether blinked. ”I mean... of course I smile at you all the time—”

”No!” she interrupted him sharply, ”Not like that. Smile like you mean it. Like the way you did with Lia. Don’t fake it...”

Her fists clenched.

”I-I know you knew me and Nyx followed you last night... don’t act like you didn’t notice.”

Aether’s mouth opened slightly in surprise, but then he chuckled—quiet, sheepish. He reached out slowly, running his hand through her soft grey hair. She flinched at the contact at first... but then leaned into it.

”Guess I’ve been caught... aha,” he muttered with a crooked grin as warmth finally reached his eyes.

But inside?

’Holy shit... they followed me?’

His laugh on the outside was smooth, but a cold chill ran down his spine. Panic stirred in the pit of his gut. His mind spun for a second before he forced himself to calm down.

He understood now.

All the emotional shifts... the trembling in her hands... the storm in her eyes...

She had seen everything.

Felt everything.

And whatever he had done with Lia...

That was the trigger.

Nightfire snorted, but her sharp eyes never left his face. She watched him closely, catching the subtle shift in his expression—the way his lips curved into a warm, unguarded smile. It wasn’t one of his cocky grins, nor one of those teasing smirks he often tossed around like candy.

No... It was that same genuine, honest smile he gave to Lia.

And it made her heart throb painfully in her chest.

It made her feel seen... Wanted.

”That’s it?” Aether asked, leaning forward, his tone playful again, but there was gentleness laced underneath it.

Nightfire hesitated.

Her lips trembled. She lowered her head slightly, biting down on her lower lip until it quivered. Then, in a soft, cracked voice, she mumbled:

”A-All the time, okay...? Even if I mess up... even if I say stupid things or piss you off... you can’t shout at me...”

She clutched her hands in front of her chest, claws digging into the fabric of her apron.

”You should still smile. Only smile...”

Her voice wavered, growing smaller. It wasn’t just a request—it was a plea. A fragile wish that sounded so small... yet carried so much of her heart.

Aether looked at her quietly, then reached up and cupped her cheek with one hand, his thumb brushing softly across her skin.

”Of course,” he said, then added with a smirk as his gaze flicked downward, ”But you should still face your punishments when you mess up.”

His eyes lingered on her thick, curvy backside.

Nightfire jolted, a soft gasp slipping from her lips as her entire face turned a deep, rosy red.

”A-Also...” she whispered again, voice growing small and hesitant. Her hands fidgeted, Her tail, usually bold and sinuous, wrapped tightly around one of her thighs, hiding like a shy child behind its mother.

”...I... I want a k-kiss...”

Aether blinked, caught off guard.

A kiss?

From her?

From the same succubus who once stripped herself bare, crawling across the floor with sultry eyes and whispered moans... the one who had grinded against him shamelessly, begged for his cock like a thirsty beast...

Now trembling like a innocent just to ask for a kiss?

And this time, it was her succubus side that asked... not for sex, not for control, but for something tender.

Not just the succubus who lived off lust—but the vulnerable, confused, quietly desperate woman underneath. The part of her that didn’t want to fuck... but to be held.

To be cherished.

Aether leaned in slowly. Her lips quivered as she instinctively rose to her feet, drawn to him by some invisible pull. Her tail slid up and wrapped around his leg—possessive, needy, clinging.

And then—

”Hmm~”

Their lips met.

They kissed... not like demons... but like lovers.

Drip...

It was soft. Barely a peck.

And yet, it sent a sharp jolt down Nightfire’s spine, like lightning licking along her nerves. Her thighs trembled as her knees buckled slightly. Her lips clung to his longer than she intended, her eyes fluttering closed as a soft sigh escaped her.

Her body... reacted before her mind could.

It was as if... she’d received something she didn’t know she’d been starving for.

As if her body accepted, for the first time, the chaotic blend of lust and love.

She didn’t just feel aroused.

She felt full.

Satisfied!

Aether pulled back slightly, staring at her flushed cheeks and glassy eyes. A soft, teasing smile touched his lips as he gently tucked a strand of her messy hair behind her ear.

”Look at you,” he chuckled, ”getting all shy over a kiss... hah.”

He couldn’t help but laugh—amused, charmed, maybe even a little overwhelmed.

A succubus... blushing? Shying away?

That had to be a first.

No ancient scroll, no Myth would believe this sight.

Nightfire’s lips twitched, and she let out a growl, her pride flaring, ”I’m not shy!”

Her usual sassy tone was back... she achieved finally!

However...

Aether grinned wider, a dangerous glint in his eyes that made her flinch.

”W-What?” she asked, suddenly wary.

”It’s just... I never thought I’d see someone cum from a kiss.”

”H-Huh?” she blinked.

What the heck he was talking about now?

He pointed downward, and her gaze followed.

Her heart stopped.

There—between her thighs—a clear, glistening pool had begun to spread on the floor. Dripping. Shining. Wetness soaking down her legs, trailing all the way to her feet.

It was... a mess.

A lot.

Like she had poured out a bucket of her arousal.

Her face turned ghostly pale, then flushed with horror as her mind caught up with what just happened.

She looked up in panic.

Aether’s grin stretched wider, a wicked glint in his eye.

”Damn... a succubus really getting turned on by just a kiss?

Pervert~”

Her pride shattered on the spot.

She stared at him, stunned, humiliated, then shrieked.

”YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, PERVERT!!”

She bolted from the dining room, legs shaking, leaving behind a trail of glistening nectar as her body refused to stop leaking.

Aether leaned back, laughing harder now, completely unable to contain it.

”Goodness...”
