Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 749: Why Not Xara Serpahine!

Xara Seraphine

A black-haired, deep black-eyed, absolutely stunning MIL—ahem—Mature Woman with an insanely motherly personality... the kind of woman any man would dream of having as his wife!

A True Waifu Material!

And yet... for some reason, Aether didnʼt feel the usual tingling sensation he always felt around other MIL—ahem—Mature women!

That strange pull, that raw, instinctive attraction he had toward the opposite sex, whether they were older or younger—as long as they were women, something inside him always stirred.

It wasnʼt just lust; it was an undeniable magnetism!!

And no, before anyone judged him, he was NOT a Paedophile!

Young, in his mind, meant well-developed—mentally, physically, emotionally... You know, a woman who had grown into her own, someone refined, mature in her own way.

So, as usual, he casually sighted/ogled them all, without a hint of hesitation, letting his gaze glide over their faces, their figures, their curv—ahem, everything—just like any normal man!

And no, there was nothing wrong with that!

Not every glance was lecherous, after all!

A lecherous gaze was when a man looked at a woman in a purely sexual way, picturing filthy things in his mind, practically panting like a dog in heat.

That was different! That was the kind of stare that crossed boundaries, the one that made women uncomfortable.

But not every man did that! Still, somehow, it was always the men!!

Anyway,

Admiring a woman—whether it was sighting, ogling, or just plain appreciating—was something pure at its core. It wasnʼt about lust but an instinctive reaction buried deep within a manʼs soul, something that awakened whenever he laid eyes on any woman...

It was admiration!

It was a silent, unspoken devotion!!!

Her silky, sweet hair: A cascade of softness he wanted to run his fingers through every single day!

Her beautiful face: A vision he longed to wake up to each morning and gaze at all day!

Her beautiful smile: A smile so radiant it could brighten even the darkest corners of his life!

Her soft, delicate neck: A perfect spot where he longed to leave his mark, claiming her as his own!

Her luscious breasts: The perfect pillows to lay his head on, where he could rest for eternity, enveloped in warmth and comfort!

Her smooth abdomen: A sacred place where life itself could begin, a promise of a future shared between them alone!

Her sacred flower: A heaven meant only for him, where pleasure and intimacy intertwined, binding them together in ways beyond words!

Her round buttocks: A place he really.. really... want to slap, to worship with both tenderness and desire!

Her soft thighs: The perfect sanctuary where a man could rest his head, spilling secrets and telling stories only meant for her ears!

And finally... her heart: The one place he longed to claim for himself, to hold and cherish for all eternity!

That was how a real man ogled at a woman.

And sure, there were certain places—like her buttocks, her flower, her abdomen—that a man would only think about after earning her approval... That was what separated admiration from sheer lust!

And if any man claimed he NEVER ogled a womanʼs body—never felt that primal appreciation—then there were only two explanations:

Either he was FUCKING gay!!

or

He was a FUCKING lying bastard that no real man wanted to be friends with!!

Now, back to Aether...

For some unknown reason, this bastard wasnʼt feeling ANY of these emotions toward Xara. Not even a flicker.

Instead, all he felt around her was... awkwardness. And—what the hell—shyness?!

Why? He had no clue.

Even if he TRIED to look at her in a lecherous way, forcing himself to feel something, anything—there was just nothing.

No spark!

No magnetic pull!

No overwhelming desire to claim her as his own!!

What the fuck was wrong with him?!

Some might say... ”Maybe itʼs because sheʼs a mother?”

But then, what about Liora Darkfang?

She was the mother of Kaelen, and yet… Aether loved her.

NO! He ADORED her.... He craved her in ways that went beyond simple attraction.

Every time he saw her, his instincts screamed at him to mark her, to drench her in his scent, to claim every inch of her until there wasnʼt a single place left untouched and hug her tightly before sleeping on her busty boobs~

So no, it wasnʼt about Xara being a mother.

Then… maybe it was because Xara was Seleneʼs mother?

But if that were the case, then what about Marisandra Naiadia?

Aether had liked Marisandra first, then her daughter, and yet... he still loved them both... Or rather, he loved watching their arrogance and superiority slowly crumble before his grand technique, watching their pride dissolve until all that remained was raw submission.

The way Marisandra acted all high and mighty, only for that confidence to shatter the moment he turned aggressive… it was addictive. That adorable reaction, the way her entire demeanour shifted, the way she trembled—it was something he craved to see again and again.

And those eyes... Fuck! He loves them!!! To be honest he wanted those only to look at him not anyone!!!

.... So was it because he liked Xaraʼs daughter first? Was that the reason why he felt nothing?

Then what about Maelona Zephyr?

To be honest, he never had any intention of forming anything between them, regardless of the circumstances. Whether he was forced into a situation or not, he didnʼt want to take advantage of Maelonaʼs emotions, and he especially didnʼt want to hurt Aria. However…

That time, he had almost lost himself.

He had almost kissed Maelona.

Why?

Because of their connection.

Their Eternal Seal—now called the Seal of Aethernal—bound them in ways that were difficult to describe. Through it, he could feel her emotions just as vividly as his own.

Her happiness, her nervous excitement, her deep longing, her silent sadness, her unwavering love… all of it bled into him, overwhelming his mind, and making it hard to think clearly.

That was why, for a brief moment, he had faltered.

That was why he had nearly lost control.

That was why, against his better judgment, he had started to see Maelona as something more than just a mother-in-law.

So then… what the hell was it?

What was stopping him from feeling anything for Xara?

What was different this time?

To be completely honest, he had no idea.

No matter how much he tried, he just couldnʼt bring himself to see her in that way.

It didnʼt make any sense.

She was the perfect woman!

Strong, graceful, endlessly caring. If he put in even the slightest effort, she would undoubtedly do anything for him. She was the kind of woman any man would kill to have by his side. And yet…

There was no spark.

Hell, Aether, who was into MIL—ahem—Mature Women, had felt that undeniable spark with so many younger others.... Stella, Selene, Aqualina, Lia, Helena, Raven (Still not adding her to the older category!), Thalia even Nightfire... Each of them had drawn him in with their charm, their beauty, their irresistible presence, their interesting loveable personality!

That spark, that overwhelming need to possess them, to make their radiant, love-filled smiles belong to him and only him… it had always been there.

And yet, with Xara—the very woman who was punishing him right now—there was nothing.

Not even a flicker of interest.

Nothing.

”What? Go on, brat!” Xara snorted, her voice sharp with irritation as she washed her tired, dishevelled face. Her glare bore into Aether, who was currently doing sit-ups as part of his punishment.

Why?

Because…

”How dare you run away from home?!” Xara snapped, her tone filled with a mixture of exhaustion and frustration. She splashed water onto her face again as if the cool sensation could somehow wash away her stress. She had been running around for almost a full day without rest, without food, searching for him non-stop.

And this little shit had the audacity to sit there, looking completely unfazed?!

”Well, I—”

”Donʼt you dare speak right now! Do 100 more sit-ups!” Xara barked, rubbing her damp face with a towel before collapsing onto a nearby chair. She crossed her arms tightly, watching over his punishment with an unyielding expression.

Her sharp eyes tracked his movements as she started counting under her breath.

Experience more tales on

”Five, six, seven…”

Aether, of course, wasnʼt struggling in the slightest. A mere 100 sit-ups meant absolutely nothing to him. If he wanted to, he could do thousands within seconds without breaking a sweat.... But right now, he had to maintain his act as a little servant.

And more importantly.... Xara was crying!!

Yes, she was FUCKING crying!!

She tried to hide it, but he noticed everything.... The redness in her eyes, the way she refused to meet his gaze, the subtle tremble of her lips as she continued counting. She had even washed her face again, using the water as an excuse, pretending that any stray tears were nothing more than droplets clinging to her skin.

What an amazing woman she was.

And yet…

Aether still didnʼt feel the spark.

Because, no matter what he did, no matter how hard he tried to see her differently…

ʼShe fucking sees me as a child rather than a man!!!ʼ Aether screamed internally... watching her crying like a mother who almost lost her child!
