Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 245: Ancient Language?

Aria stared intently at her right-hand palm, noting the intricate tattoo that mirrored Aetherʼs, with one crucial difference: hers lacked the bud intersection. The tattoo seemed to pulse with energy, and she couldnʼt help but feel a deep connection to Aether as if their very essence were intertwined.

She felt an overwhelming closeness to Aether, a bond that transcended the physical realm. It was as if their souls were merging into one.

Most astonishing of all...

”I can feel your love, A-Aether,” She mumbled, her voice tinged with disbelief. Her eyes, wide and glistening, reflected her astonishment. She could tangibly feel his love for her, a flood of emotions that surged within her. She struggled to maintain her composure, resisting the intense urge to push him down and make love to him right then and there.

Aether smiled warmly, his eyes filled with affection. He drew her into a tender embrace and kissed her forehead softly.

This simple gesture made Ariaʼs eyes well up with tears even more.

She clung to him tightly, feeling that her long wait had finally been rewarded...

She felt her patience had borne fruit!! FINALLY!!

If it meant being with him, she wouldnʼt have minded waiting another thousand years.

Thank goodness Log removed her otherwise, it would again be crashed down!

And even more astonishing was...

”Aether, You were right. My level has increased... What in the world...” Ariaʼs eyes widened with disbelief. If news of this got out, she was certain many women would take Aether.... The thought was truly terrifying!

Meanwhile, Aether nodded inwardly, his expression amused. ʼI suppose I have something dangerous inside my pee-pee...ʼ he mused silently, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.

Aria was profoundly grateful that Aether had told her. It was not a secret to be shared lightly, especially with Aetherʼs life at stake. She realized the significance of his trust and cherished the fact that he was finally opening up to her.

”I love you~” she whispered, her eyes brimming with tears of joy.

Aria kissed his chest lovingly. Aether mumbled, ”There are many more secrets that this tattoo holds... I hope you understand.”

Aria smiled, her heart swelling with gratitude, ”I will wait then...” She felt a palpable sense of relief emanate from Aether. ʼHe must have been so worried... My poor Aether~ʼ she thought, hugging him even tighter. ʼDonʼt worry, I will protect you. Anyone who tries to harm MY Aether will face my wrath....

Aether~ I love you~ I love you~ I love you~ I love you~ I love you~ I love you~.....ʼ Her mind rambled, a chaotic stream of devotion.

”Princess doesnʼt know about the details, so please hide the tattoo,” Aether warned gently. Ariaʼs smile widened, and she nodded vigorously, feeling deeply cherished and incredibly happy. Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind when Aether mentioned ʼSecrets.ʼ

”Aether, come with me...” Aria suddenly asked, her voice filled with urgency.

”??”

”I know something about your past...” Aria said mysteriously, her eyes gleaming with secrets.

ʼPast?ʼ Aether frowned, curiosity piqued, and followed her.

Aria led him to deep into her house.... where there was a massive wooden door, heavily guarded by vigilant soldiers who immediately blocked their path. Aetherʼs eyebrows shot up in surprise as even Aria was momentarily halted.

With a stern expression, Aria pulled out a token card. The guards, recognizing the token, bowed respectfully and opened the door.

However, they blocked Aetherʼs entry.

”He is with me.... My husband!” Aria declared boldly before planting a kiss on Aetherʼs cheek. The guards, taken aback, hurriedly bowed and allowed Aether to pass.

Upon entering the room, Aetherʼs eyes widened in astonishment.... It was a library, vast and ancient!

The room was filled with towering shelves, each crammed with dusty old books. The air was thick with the scent of aged paper and ink, a testament to its long-neglected state.

”This place was built in ancient times and contains countless pieces of information, truths, and even skills. Though everything here is old, they hold great power and danger. Thatʼs why Darkfang strives so hard to surpass us! Only those who possess the token can enter..... along with their spouses!” Aria explained with a serious demeanour.

Aether listened intently, finally grasping the significance of their surroundings and why she boldly did that... Those traditional guys would believe just from the kiss!!

His curiosity deepened, wondering why she had brought him to such a place.

Aria walked further into the depths of the library, her eyes scanning the rows of books with purpose. Finally, she stopped before a particular brown leather book, worn and weathered with age.

”Aether,” Aria began, looking at him with intense seriousness, ”You are from... an ancient civilization!”

”....” Aether blinked, stunned by her revelation. ʼFuck!! Are we diving into the secret revelation part?ʼ he thought, excitement bubbling within him.

Aria nodded, her expression satisfied as if she had successfully surprised him, ”Before began.... You know when I asked you to write, right?”

”Yes, you also asked me to write it again and again, right?”

”Hmmm.” Aria nodded before placing the book on a dusty table. With a snap of her fingers, a gentle breeze swept through the room, clearing the dust away. She gestured for him to sit on the chair, then promptly seated herself on his lap, as if it were her rightful place. She spoke slowly, ”Yes, but what you wrote was not in our language.”

”Huh? What do you mean? I can understand your language and even your words, but...” Aetherʼs voice trailed off, flabbergasted.

”Thatʼs what made me curious,” Aria said, her brow furrowing thoughtfully. ”You can comprehend and read our language, but you canʼt write it correctly...” She scribbled something on a piece of parchment and handed it to Aether. ”Read this aloud and then rewrite it.”

”I love you,” Aether read aloud, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He carefully wrote the phrase again. As he looked at his words, they appeared identical to Ariaʼs in his eyes.

However,

”Itʼs different,” Aria mumbled, scrutinizing Aetherʼs written words and comparing them to her own.

”Different? How?” Aether asked, his frown deepening.

”Your writing looks like this...” Instead of writing it again, Aria gestured with her hand, forming each word in the air.

She noticed something strange happening with Aether, something he himself was not aware of. Aria frowned, sensing a dread that she knew must be connected to the tattoo that Arcane had given him.

Everything about her beloved was shrouded in mystery, and it only intensified her desire to understand him completely!

ʼThat Bitch must be up to something...ʼ Aria growled inwardly. If anything happened to Aether, she was certain she would go to any lengths, even killing everyone necessary to become a sovereign and confront that bitch herself... and then.... ʼHehehe...ʼ A dangerous glint passed through her eyes.

Aether nodded, ”Okay, Yours?”

Snapping out of her thoughts, ”Mine is like this...” Aria motioned her hand to represent her letters. This time, Aetherʼs frown deepened even more.

Her motions were different; For the letter ʼIʼ she motioned ʼEeʼ, and for ʼLoveʼ she motioned ʼAy-ʼ, something entirely unlike his understanding.

Aetherʼs frown deepened further.

Pieces of a puzzle began to align in his mind.

How was he able to understand a language he had never heard of before?

This was the first time he had truly contemplated it!!!

A normal person would have questioned it upon first arriving in these new worlds, but Aetherʼs initial focus had been purely on survival, not on understanding the worldʼs language.

He had assumed it might be due to... Ether?

But Ether had never learned how to read as he was a slave, though Aether wasnʼt sure about Etherʼs past but still.... something complex was going on and that was...

Inwardly, he asked, ʼLog... disable the automatic translator.ʼ

....

But there was no response.

Aetherʼs lips twitched in frustration, ʼAm I wrong?ʼ he wondered, doubt creeping into his mind.

Aria could sense his turmoil. She leaned in and kissed his lips gently, a soft gesture meant to soothe his troubled thoughts. ”Calm down, Aether. Thereʼs no need to overthink this. If you donʼt know something, you can always learn, right?”

Aether blinked, her words cutting through his confusion. He nodded slowly, ”Yeah, I could learn...” He kissed her lips back, feeling a surge of gratitude for his beautiful and supportive woman.

He wanted to do more for her..... Aria blushed and winked, ”I will teach you, but I want a reward~” she whispered, her voice laced with playful desire as she licked his neck with hungry eyes.

”I will give you a big reward then~” he responded, his hands roaming to fondle her ass.

”Ahh~” she moaned softly, her body reacting to his touch.

Aria then took the ancient book and said, ”Anyway, the language you write is... an ancient language!” She opened the book, its pages filled with symbols and scripts that were unfamiliar to her, but Aether...

”Can you read it?” she asked, her voice tinged with hope and curiosity.

”... Yes,” Aether mumbled when he saw the word, ʼAtom!ʼ

He then looked at the previous paper and, for a second, saw:

Ee Ay-oh Thul

I love you

Both her words and his words were displayed, and in the next blink, they transformed into the familiar ʼI love youʼ script.

ʼFuck.... Everything is getting serious now..!ʼ he thought.
