Aetherʼs lips twitched with a mix of irritation and disbelief. He wished to see her, not for her curvy body or teasing words, but to punch her face for all the trouble she had caused. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he turned his attention to Aria, who stood hesitatingly, her shyness evident in her hesitant steps towards him.

Aether removed his hood, revealing his face, and looked at Aria with a surprised expression. ”What was th—” he began, but before he could finish his question, Aria rushed forward and hugged him tightly, cutting off his words.

Aether flinched at the unexpected contact, but then he sighed, realizing that this embrace signified that he had finally entered this womanʼs heart. With a gentle expression softening his features, he wrapped his arms around her, returning the hug.

The surrounding world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in an intimate bubble of warmth and understanding.

They stood like this for what felt like an eternity, but was really just a minute.

Aria, her long ears twitching with emotion, eventually pulled away and stared at his face. ʼOMG!!! HE IS HANDSOME!!ʼ she screamed inwardly.

Outwardly, however, she maintained a composed demeanour, exuding a motherly aura as she touched his face gently, her fingers tracing the lines of his jaw.

Aether gulped inwardly, sensing a creeping dread. Although her eyes looked lovely and filled with affection, there was something deep and unsettling within them, something that reminded him of Selene.

ʼL-Letʼs not push her anymore!ʼ Aether warned himself, realizing it was dangerous to raise her affection further. Yet, despite his caution, his eyes fell on her shoulder, noticing the wound inflicted by Kaelenʼs poisonous nails.

”W-We need to heal you!” Aether shouted, his voice tinged with urgency as he reached for his healing potion. However, Aria smiled softly and took a small bottle from her pouch.

Aether flinched, staring at the small bottle in her hand.

ʼT-Thatʼs a healing potion...ʼ he realized. He then looked at Aria, who awkwardly averted her gaze, her cheeks tinged with embarrassment, ”I-I just realized I had this in my pouch!” she stammered, offering a lame excuse that even a child wouldnʼt believe.

Aether sighed deeply and said, ”Drink it fir—” but before he could finish his sentence, Aria had already poured the potion into his mouth, ensuring he drank it first.

”Slowly, slowly...” she whispered, her voice tender as she rubbed Aetherʼs throat, her eyes filled with affectionate care, like a mother tending to her child.

After gulping down the potion, Aether felt his wounds close up rapidly, the healing magic working its wonders. Aria watched with relief flooding her heart, seeing the immediate effect.

”W-What the hell! You need to heal first, not me, you idiot!” Aether shouted.

Hearing him call her an idiot made her blush even more. She knew he didnʼt mean it harshly; it was his way of showing he cared more about her well-being than his own. She felt a warm connection growing between them, a bond that was becoming stronger with each passing moment.

ʼWho is the idiot? You are the idiot... Falling for an old lady like me!ʼ she mumbled to herself, the words too shy to be spoken aloud.

She then took another healing potion from her pouch and drank it, watching as the wounds on her body closed and healed.

It was technically against the rules to use healing potions during combat, but with the crystal badge not working, she felt it would be fine.

Technically, it wasnʼt her fault!

After drinking the healing potion, Aria saw Aether looking at her with a blank expression.

”W-What?” she stammered, her voice tinged with a mix of vulnerability and defiance. She knew why he was looking at her like that, but she refused to acknowledge it, feeling a flush of warmth spread across her cheeks.

”.... Nothing,” Aether answered. He sighed, ʼWell, allʼs well that ends well,ʼ he thought, attempting to move past the awkwardness, ”Queen Ar—”

”Aria”

”Hmm?”

”Itʼs A~R~I~A~ Please” She insisted, her voice taking on a sweet, almost pleading tone as her eyes widened adorably, a stark contrast to her previous haughty demeanour.

ʼCome on, man! She is freaking cute!!!ʼ Aether screamed inwardly, battling the urge to reach out and hold her. Out loud, he said, ”Aria.”

Aria nodded in satisfaction, her heart skipping a beat as she gazed at him with newfound admiration.

She wanted to hold him, pamper him, feed him to chubby, buy him everything he wanted, and most of all kiss him passionately and touch his.... her imagination running wild with desires she had kept buried for so long.

Aether gulped, his heart racing as he tried to break the spell of her enchanting gaze, ”Now, what should we do?” he asked, pointing to the spot where Kaelen had disappeared, a flag now hovering in his place.

Aria snapped out of her reverie, her eyes focusing on the flag before turning back to Aether. ”You can take it.”

”H-Huh? What do you mean? Youʼre the one who defeated—”

Aria placed a delicate finger on his lips, her touch sending shivers down his spine, ”Your Master will hurt you if you donʼt bring any flags. You can take mine too.” She raised her other hand, and suddenly a flag materialized in her palm, shimmering with a soft glow.

Seeing this, Aether understood her concern, but he couldnʼt bear to let Aria lose after seeing her worried expression. He gently closed her fingers around the flag and said, ”I cannot...”

”Aether, listen to me--”

”I want you to win”

[+6000 Affection]

ʼFuck!! Letʼs stop! No more!!ʼ Aether screamed inwardly, feeling overwhelmed by the escalating affection.

Aria simply smiled, a mix of tenderness and resolve in her eyes, ”I cannot fight anymore...” Her body ached from using her origin weapon.... which was now far stronger than her, and she needed rest, It really took a toll on her body.

Seeing Aetherʼs sudden frown, Aria sighed deeply and said, ”Okay then, you can take Kaelenʼs flag, and I will return to the stadium with my flag.”

Aether nodded in relief, but their eyes remained locked, a magnetic pull drawing them closer. Their gazes lingered on each otherʼs lips, the tension palpable.

”I am going to divorce Alaric,” Aria mumbled.

She knew it would bring countless problems and put her tribe in danger, but looking at Aether, she felt a surge of courage, ”I will soon be a free bird...” She blushed, her cheeks turning a deep shade of crimson, ”A single bird... waiting for another bird...”

Aetherʼs face lit up with amusement, but curiosity gleamed in his eyes, ”Another bird, huh? Must be someone of your status, I supp—” Aria placed her finger on his lips again, this time letting it linger seductively. Her touch was electric, sending a jolt of desire through him.

She smiled cheekily and said, ”I am Aria Zephyr, not a Queen or any royal bullshit... This time, I will choose my partner. Whoever it is, it will be my decision.”

”OH!” Aether raised his eyebrows, taken aback by the fierce determination in Ariaʼs eyes, as if she were ready to face any challenge.

”Good,” Aether replied warmly, his smile radiating genuine affection, which again triggered:

[+7000 Affection]

Aether flinched, quickly clamping his mouth shut.

Aria continued to rub his lips tenderly, her fingers lingering with unspoken promises. She wanted to bite those lips, to claim them, but she restrained herself. Despite her desires, she was still an old-fashioned woman who believed in tradition.

First, she needed to sever her ties with that wretched being!

”Next, Iʼll give you an answer... an answer just for you,” Aria whispered seductively in his ear before walking away. Her hips swayed provocatively, each step a silent invitation, though her face burned with a blush as she hurriedly ran away.

”Damn!!” Aether gritted his teeth, feeling his blood surge with an intensity he had never experienced before.
