Flower Stealing Master

Song Qingshu held the girl in his arms, feeling her softness and gentleness, while a wave of her delicate fragrance enveloped him, making him momentarily forget everything else and reluctant to move.

When she expressed her desire not to stay in the cold palace, Song Qingshu completely understood, as the cold palace was indeed an ominous place for women. However, he never expected that Li Yuanzhi would propose such an outrageous request.

“What’s going on?” Song Qingshu asked, his voice somewhat hoarse.

“Hmph,” Li Yuanzhi lifted her chin and huffed, “Lady Wu bullied me just now, relying on the fact that her man is the emperor, using his power to intimidate me. Now that my man is here, I need to reclaim my dignity.”

Song Qingshu pondered her logic for a long time but could not grasp it. Seeing her spirited demeanor, he suddenly remembered that Li Yuanzhi was indeed a quirky girl, fearless and bold, so it was entirely normal for her to have such thoughts.

“Can we not go?” Song Qingshu leaned closer to her collar, feeling the tension rising; he did not want to complicate matters.

Li Yuanzhi pressed down on his mischievous hand, biting her lip as she leaned closer to his ear, “This is also to punish you for not coming to find me for so long, leaving me alone in this cold palace, making me fear that you had abandoned me.” As she spoke, her expression turned pitiful.

Although Song Qingshu knew she was deliberately putting on an act, he thought of how she had the chance to become a royal consort but had unhesitatingly given her purity to him, enduring so much fear alone. His heart swelled with compassion, and he gently lifted her up, saying, “Alright, Brother Song will help you reclaim your dignity.”

Seeing him agree so readily, Li Yuanzhi first showed joy, but soon hesitated, “Brother Song, didn’t you say you came to negotiate peace with the Southern Song? Won’t this affect your important matters?”

Song Qingshu smiled slightly, “Of course, it will have an impact.”

Li Yuanzhi hurriedly replied, “Then forget it, I was just joking.”

Song Qingshu pinched her cheek, “In ancient times, King You of Zhou caused chaos to win a smile from his beloved, so today, to make you happy, what’s a little risk?”

Li Yuanzhi blushed and spat, “Hmph, you want to be King You of Zhou, but I don’t want to be Bao Si!” However, despite her words of disdain, her eyes were filled with laughter.

Women are often like this; although they know rationally what is better, they can be deeply moved by less rational actions.

“Let’s go~” Song Qingshu adjusted Li Yuanzhi’s clothing, and with a flash of his figure, he slipped into the night within the palace. “Sister Yuanzhi, please guide me.”

“Um… maybe we shouldn’t go,” Li Yuanzhi tugged at his clothing, speaking somewhat nervously.

Song Qingshu smiled slightly, “What’s wrong? The fearless you is actually feeling timid now?”

“Who said that!” Li Yuanzhi seemed greatly stimulated, pointing to the right, “Let’s go, who’s afraid of whom!”

Seeing her feigned calmness, Song Qingshu laughed heartily, bent down, and ki$$ed her. Then, like a ghost, he evaded patrols of guards, maneuvered past countless palace maids and eunuchs, and finally entered Lady Wu’s chamber.

Holding Li Yuanzhi inside the chamber, Song Qingshu felt a faint sweet fragrance permeating the air, refreshing yet subtly alluring.

“Eh, they haven’t returned yet?” Li Yuanzhi exclaimed softly.

Song Qingshu chuckled, “Your husband’s movement skill is unmatched in the world; those two women, accompanied by a bunch of eunuchs and maids, could never be faster than us.”

“Who recognizes you as my husband!” Li Yuanzhi playfully pouted, yet her heart was filled with sweetness, clearly pleased with the title.

“Shh, they have returned.” Song Qingshu pressed his finger against her lips, and with a light leap, the two ascended to the beam, hiding in the shadows.

Although Li Yuanzhi usually acted willfully and mischievously, she could distinguish between priorities at critical moments. She quickly closed her mouth and even slowed her breathing, fearing discovery.

After about a dozen breaths, Chen Yuanyuan and Ah Ke walked in through the door. Although Song Qingshu’s movement skill was far superior to theirs, he had been delayed too long in the cold palace with Li Yuanzhi, so they arrived almost simultaneously.

Even though he had just seen these two, and was somewhat prepared, the sight of the stunning mother and daughter standing together still left Song Qingshu in awe.

Chen Yuanyuan was graceful and elegant, while Ah Ke was youthful and beautiful; both were captivating beauties. Moreover, the two women bore a striking resemblance, as if they were carved from the same mold, enhancing each other’s allure.

As they entered the room, the entire space seemed to brighten by three degrees compared to before.

Li Yuanzhi had always been an outstanding beauty since childhood. Even when the man she admired, Yu Tong, preferred Luo Bing over her, she never doubted her own looks, knowing that Yu Tong’s affection for Luo Bing was not solely based on appearance. However, upon seeing the mother and daughter, she felt a deep sense of helplessness.

Whether it was Chen Yuanyuan or Ah Ke, their beauty was dazzling, and having both of them together was overwhelming. Even as a woman, Li Yuanzhi was mesmerized, let alone the men. She turned her head sourly to look at Song Qingshu, initially thinking he would be entranced, but to her surprise, his eyes were clear, showing no signs of being captivated.

*Truly, he is the man I have chosen,* Li Yuanzhi’s previously gloomy mood instantly brightened.

After bringing Ah Ke inside, Chen Yuanyuan gently said, “You should rest early; I will return to continue my training.”

Unexpectedly, Ah Ke hugged her arm tightly and whined, “No, mother, I want to sleep with you tonight.”

“Look at how old you are, still acting spoiled,” Chen Yuanyuan lightly tapped her daughter’s forehead with her slender finger, her eyes filled with affection.

“Please~” Ah Ke shook her arm, her eyes blinking with hope and pleading.

Song Qingshu, hidden on the beam, felt a stir in his heart, surprised by how endearing Ah Ke sounded when she acted spoiled.

However, the sweet voice that stirred his heart sent shivers down Li Yuanzhi’s spine, making her break into goosebumps.

Noticing her reaction, Song Qingshu smiled slightly, thinking this was what they called attraction between opposites and repulsion among the same.

Unable to resist her daughter’s pleas, Chen Yuanyuan finally relented, “Alright, I will sleep with you tonight; I happen to have some things I want to discuss with you.”

Song Qingshu’s expression was extremely interesting; after all, Ah Ke was now nominally a royal consort. If Chen Yuanyuan $lept with her, and the emperor happened to come by at night, wouldn’t it be a two-for-one deal, enjoying the blessings of the world?
