I'm Ecstatic About Transmigrating Into a Novel As the Villainous Empress's Follower

142: Section 142However, on the surface, he remained calm and flattered, ”Marquis Cao is truly the incarnation of the Star of Literature. A poem composed on a whim has already made the Princess admire you wholeheartedly...”

”The Prince flatters me!”

Cao Yang waved his hand.

As he drank the wine poured by the beautiful Princess Pei Nanzhi, he looked at the Prince of Zhenbei, Xu Xiao, and said with a smile, ”Wielding a brush and playing with ink is nothing worth mentioning!”

”Marquis Cao is truly as humble as always!” Xu Xiao said with a smile, ”Marquis Cao perhaps does not know, but the Princess’s poetic talent is not inferior. She is known as the talented woman of Northern Liang. If your work is nothing worth mentioning, how is the Princess supposed to conduct herself?”

”Oh?”

”The Princess is actually known as a talented woman?” Cao Yang looked surprised, ”My apologies, my apologies. This Marquis toasts the Princess! To have such a talented woman pour wine for This Marquis, This Marquis is truly guilty!”

”This meager talent is nothing before Marquis Cao...” Pei Nanzhi shook her head.

However, she took the wine cup handed to her by Cao Yang. She waved her long sleeve to shield herself, and took a light sip with her red lips. A moment later, she revealed the wine cup in her hand. Not a drop of wine remained!

However, after the wine went down, a slight flush appeared on her exquisitely beautiful face.

”The Princess has a great capacity for liquor!” Cao Yang immediately praised.

At the same time, he picked up the wine pot and poured for her again, ”This Marquis toasts the Princess another cup. To have someone of the Princess’s status pour wine for This Marquis, This Marquis is truly unforgivable!”

Pei Nanzhi frowned slightly.

But remembering what she had said earlier about accompanying Cao Yang until they were drunk, she had no choice but to take it, and once again slowly drank it down...

”This damned Traitor Cao!”

For a moment, Xu Feng, watching from the side, was incredibly angry!

This Cao Yang truly deserves to die!

Letting Pei Nanzhi pour wine for him was one thing. But to make Pei Nanzhi drink as well!

What made him even more jealous and hateful was that Pei Nanzhi actually accepted it and really drank it!?

In past family banquets, when he toasted Pei Nanzhi, this stepmother of his, she never gave him a good look. Seeing him was like seeing a plague god, and she would say she couldn’t hold her liquor!

But now... you can’t hold your liquor, yet you drink cup after cup...?

【 Ding! The Host’s behavior has made Xu Feng envious, jealous, and hateful. villain points +30000! 】

Huh? An unexpected harvest?

Cao Yang raised an eyebrow slightly. Not bad, not bad! Wonderful!

Envious, jealous, and hateful? Then I must drink a few more cups with this Princess...!

This Pei Nanzhi still wants to test him? His talent qi, is it so easily tested? If he doesn’t get her drunk today, he won’t be surnamed Cao!

...

After yet another cup of wine went down, Pei Nanzhi’s face became even redder.

”The Princess truly has a great capacity for liquor!” Cao Yang praised again, ”This Marquis toasts the Princess another cup. To have been so rude to such a beauty like the Princess just now, This Marquis truly feels bad!”

”This...” Pei Nanzhi was already feeling tipsy.

But hearing Cao Yang’s words, she couldn’t refuse. This Profligate Marquis actually knows how to apologize for his earlier rudeness?

She couldn’t help but feel a little relieved. He was, after all, much better than Xu Feng, that Profligate Heir!

After another cup of wine went down, Pei Nanzhi was already drunk!

But just at this moment, Cao Yang poured her another cup of wine. At the same time, he said to Xu Xiao, ”This cup of wine, This Marquis toasts not only the Princess but also the Prince. I hope the Prince will absolutely not take my unintentional words from just now to heart!”

”Marquis, what are you saying...”

”It’s a trivial matter, this Prince would not take it to heart!” Xu Xiao smiled and raised his wine cup, drinking it in one gulp.

It seems this Cao Yang is not someone who is ignorant of etiquette or lacks a sense of proportion!

This guy has been acting provocatively in front of him ever since they met. Now, he knows how to concede?

Heh—it’s already too late!

The day he raises his army will be the time to sacrifice this brat to the flag!

”Alright...”

Seeing that Xu Xiao had drunk, Pei Nanzhi naturally couldn’t refuse, and once again raised her cup to take a light sip.

Clatter—

However, she had only drunk half when the wine cup in her hand fell to the ground.
