Star Martial Era: The Way of Star Light Cultivation

Chapter 2000: Chapter 854: Domains from the Star Ruins (Part 2)

”Thank you, Earl, for your advice; I will be cautious and careful.”

”However, considering the abilities of my virtuous nephew, the likelihood of returning safely is exceedingly high. What worries me most, though, is our Su Xuan. His strength is lacking, his disposition is not as steady as my virtuous nephew’s, and he possesses a bit of arrogance, lacking experience in many intense battles.

Compared to my virtuous nephew, he falls short, he falls far too short,” said True Monarch Tianzhang.

Upon hearing this, Xu Jin understood True Monarch Tianzhang’s intentions.

”Rest assured, Earl; should the opportunity arise, I will keep an eye out and offer assistance,” Xu Jin proactively replied.

Upon hearing this, True Monarch Tianzhang immediately stood up and surprisingly attempted to bow to Xu Jin, but was supported by Xu Jin before he could complete the gesture.

”In that case, the old man sincerely thanks you first, virtuous nephew! But there is one thing that must be said!” said True Monarch Tianzhang.

”Please speak, Earl.”

”The old man would feel immeasurable joy if my virtuous nephew could offer assistance. However, before offering aid, my virtuous nephew must first analyze his own safety!

If offering aid would endanger my virtuous nephew’s safety, then you absolutely must not act!

This is not mere courtesy!

It is genuine and heartfelt words!

My virtuous nephew has already helped our Su Xuan a great deal, almost changing his fate against the heavens!

If he manages to benefit and achieve success from my virtuous nephew’s fortune, it will be his blessing.

But if our Su Xuan’s situation brings disaster upon my virtuous nephew, then that would be his grave fault!

In the future, if there is danger, my virtuous nephew should save him if possible. If saving him endangers yourself, you absolutely must not act!

If my virtuous nephew is implicated, the old man’s heart could never be at peace!” said True Monarch Tianzhang with an earnest look.

”Rest assured, Earl; I will judge the timing and situation!”

”Then I leave it to my virtuous nephew! Should there be anything, feel free to instruct Su Xuan to do it!

I will tell Xuan’er to treat my virtuous nephew as he would treat me, the ancestor of our Tianzhang the Su Family!” said True Monarch Tianzhang.

Xu Jin instantly felt a solemn sense upon hearing these words.

Setting aside the sincerity in True Monarch Tianzhang’s words, the manner and arrangements in what he said were very well done.

At least considering Xu Jin’s well-being, it makes one feel quite comfortable.

Of course, as instructed by True Monarch Tianzhang, he will offer aid to Su Xuan if there is an opportunity, provided it does not endanger himself.

Helping others while sacrificing oneself would be foolish!

That evening, after True Monarch Tianzhang personally escorted Xu Jin away, he called Su Xuan before him to instruct him personally.

”Remember, in the Star Ruins, whatever Xu Jin tells you to do, you do it!

If there is anything unusual, any discovery, report them all without exception to Xu Jin!

No concealment whatsoever is allowed!

At that time, treat Xu Jin as you would treat the ancestor!” instructed True Monarch Tianzhang.

Upon hearing this, Su Xuan was genuinely astonished, ”Really, Ancestor, are you serious?

I will surely cooperate with Uncle Xu Jin and support Uncle Xu Jin.

But you want me to treat him as I would treat you. I thought earlier that Ancestor, you were just saying formalities!”

”Formalities?”

True Monarch Tianzhang’s face darkened, ”You think I would speak formalities in front of Xu Jin!

Every word I say in front of Xu Jin is sincere.

Including telling Xu Jin that if saving you endangers his safety, let it go; it is genuine.”

Su Xuan’s eyes widened immediately, with a look of disbelief.

True Monarch Tianzhang however patted Su Xuan’s shoulder and sighed, ”Xuan’er, remember, in this world, all schemes and stratagems are not as good as the word sincerity!

Of course, it depends on the person!

Once you understand this, I, the ancestor, can rest assured entrusting Tianzhang the Su Family to you, with no regrets even in death!”

Xu Jin returned to his Ritual Officer’s residence within Yutang Royal City.

In the remaining twenty-nine days, Xu Jin plans to focus on cultivation here.

However, how to cultivate during these twenty-nine days must be carefully planned.

The first item in Xu Jin’s plan is to break through to the tenth rank!

Before setting out for the Star Ruins, he absolutely must break through to the tenth rank Star Monarch.

There are two reasons: firstly, upon reaching the Star Ruins, there may not be a safe enough environment for Xu Jin to break through to the tenth rank.

Secondly, the path of the eight systems of law along the Heavenly Road has now all been climbed to the top.

His various Lifebound Suppressing Artifacts are rapidly growing; within a month, he can essentially evolve and suppress all the Tao Rules comprehended in the Mysterious Star Gate atop the eight systems of law along the Heavenly Road.

Breaking through then, the gifts from Heaven and Earth are the most abundant.

Thus, the time Xu Jin set for breaking through to the tenth rank is twenty-five days later, before departing for the Star Ruins.

During this month, Xu Jin’s main cultivation task is to evolve as many suppressed systems of law along the Law Path as possible.

Gifts from Heaven and Earth are most abundant at the time of breakthrough.

Even if evolution and suppression continue post-breakthrough, the gifts from Heaven and Earth remain, but the quantity of Postnatal Spirit Nourishing Source Pearls will be directly halved.

Therefore, other cultivation tasks will be postponed accordingly.

For example, the six Thousand-year-old Purple Yuan Bodhi Branches in hand, Xu Jin plans not to use, but instead to nourish them within the Star Lamp for a period first.

To see if there is a possibility for an upgrade.

Previous nourishment only mildly enhanced drug efficacy, without upgrading them.

Additionally, if there is extra time, Xu Jin will attempt to comprehend fragments of the Time Dao Principle.

Soon after Xu Jin completed his preliminary cultivation plan, he went directly to his Star River Island and contacted his mentor, Emperor Fenghua.

True Monarch Tianzhang’s insights are quite good, but today’s answers to many questions felt unsatisfactory to Xu Jin.

Of course, Xu Jin does not believe True Monarch Tianzhang was concealing anything from him.
