Star Martial Era: The Way of Star Light Cultivation

Chapter 1907: Chapter 804: The Pros and Cons of the Divine Dao and How to Advance

The excuse Xu Jin made, was naturally that a friend from the Dongxuan Star Realm accidentally began Divine Dao cultivation and reaped a large number of Divine Dao Golden Pearls, and Xu Jin himself also bought quite a few.

The Divine Dao Golden Pearls being so precious, Xu Jin wanted to understand them himself.

In the Imperial Palace, after reading the description in Xu Jin’s Starlight Transmission, Emperor Fenghua pondered for a while, then carefully organized some knowledge about Divine Dao cultivation, including its pros and cons, and sent it to Xu Jin.

[What I know has already been sent to you. You should study it first, and if there’s anything you don’t understand, you can ask me separately.

But there’s one thing, I must remind you.

The path of the Divine Dao, though rewarding, is endlessly arduous and fraught with calamities.

If not fully prepared, do not rashly attempt out of curiosity.]

[Thank you, Master.]

It took Xu Jin more than half a two-hour to fully understand and study the knowledge about Divine Dao cultivation organized by Emperor Fenghua.

The path of the Divine Dao is another path of cultivation, but at the beginning, this path was not the conventional cultivation path.

Initially, the path of the Divine Dao was the helpless choice for those cultivators whose Daoist Embryo was complete but had lost their physical body.

Because only the Divine Dao could allow their Daoist Embryo to survive for a long time and grow stronger.

Besides, the threshold for cultivating the Divine Dao is quite high.

Cultivating the Divine Dao does not mean you can absorb the power of all living beings’ faith just by building a wooden or clay statue; that’s impossible.

Xu Jin understood this point; it’s somewhat like the so-called consecration in his previous life.

Of course, in this world, the first step in cultivating the Divine Dao is to refine the Daoist Embryo into a Divine Embryo, and then use the Divine Embryo to nurture the Divine Dao Viscera.

The so-called Divine Dao Viscera is an item that is connected to one’s Divine Soul and can collect and store the power of all living beings’ faith.

Generally speaking, using one’s spinal bone or skull is best, so it is also called the Divine Bone.

After consuming a large amount of Divine Soul Origin for sacrifice and refining, the Divine Dao Viscera can be formed, then a Divine Statue can be erected.

The rest is to develop followers.

Xu Jin compared this process to the process of establishing his own Divine Statue and found the process to be similar, but there was a huge difference.

The so-called Divine Bone he used was actually from the Star Battle True God, already a finished product.

It was not his own.

And because he used someone else’s, the Divine Bone refined by Xu Jin consumed very little Divine Soul Origin.

If he started from the beginning according to the method taught by Master Emperor Fenghua, the consumption of Divine Soul Origin would be more than ten or twenty times.

That cost would be too great.

In other words, the Divine Bone Xu Jin obtained saved him from a major pitfall initially.

This is one of the differences.

Next, it’s about developing followers, reaping Divine Dao Golden Pearls, and then using the Divine Dao Golden Pearls to maintain and strengthen his Divine Embryo.

According to the summary given to Xu Jin by Emperor Fenghua, there are three advantages to the path of the Divine Dao: firstly, a certain degree of immortality, at least a lifespan comparable to tens of thousands of years of an Emperor.

Secondly, one can obtain a large number of Divine Dao Golden Pearls, which are a kind of valuable cultivation resource wherever they are, equivalent to having a stable currency for cultivation at hand at all times.

Thirdly, with the help of the Divine Skill Pearls, one can quickly enhance Divine Soul Cultivation Level and unleash tremendous power of the Divine Soul Star Technique Divine Power.

These are the advantages, but there are also very obvious disadvantages.

The first disadvantage is that before entering the Divine Dao, one must pay a great price, consuming a large amount of Divine Soul Origin to refine the Divine Dao Viscera.

From the first disadvantage, the second disadvantage arises: the Divine Dao is maintained by the power of the faith of all living beings for survival and to enhance strength. In addition to the enormous initial consumption of Divine Dao Origin, by the end of cultivation, one will gradually lose oneself, lose one’s true self, until ultimately losing the original self and becoming a god in the true sense.

The third disadvantage is the Heart Demon Tribulation.

Upon stepping onto the Divine Dao, every time the Divine Soul Cultivation Level advances a Great Realm, one will experience a Heart Demon Tribulation.

If one passes, they continue to exist; failure means, at the least, the Divine Embryo dissipates, or at worst, one loses oneself completely, becoming an alien.

The fourth disadvantage is the high likelihood of becoming prey for other strong experts.

The method of obtaining Divine Dao Golden Pearls has various drawbacks, but for cultivators, the Divine Dao Golden Pearls are great treasures.

Whether for improving Cultivation Level, recovering Divine Soul injuries, or cultivating Divine Skills, enhancing Divine Power, they are all greatly useful, but it is very difficult for most people to obtain them.

In this situation, if a cultivator of the Divine Dao is discovered, they will immediately become prey for experts.

In the future, there might even be a possibility of being reared!

.....

After thoroughly understanding these, two major questions arose in Xu Jin’s mind.

The first is, to what step has the Star Battle True God reached?

Could he be a Divine Dao cultivator who, as Master pointed out, may have lost himself or even his true self? Otherwise, how could his power of faith be manipulated by Mr. Baidou?

The second is the issue of the Heart Demon Tribulation.

Will he undergo a Heart Demon Tribulation?

Subsequently, Xu Jin, from the perspective of his friend, asked Master Emperor Fenghua about the Heart Demon Tribulation.

[Jin’er, your friend from the Dongxuan Star Realm has really gone through quite a peculiar encounter!

As long as one is touched by the Divine Dao, the likelihood of encountering a Heart Demon Tribulation is high!

The so-called Divine Dao Golden Pearls are made up of the Faith Golden Light of all living beings, which is a very pure yet also intensely personal imprint of power.

There’s no need to say what less is like, but when plenty, that power’s complexity is unimaginable.

As for the method you want to ask to help your friend withstand the Heart Demon Tribulation, there is indeed a way.

The first is to amplify the Divine Soul Origin, which can substantially strengthen the self and true self-awareness, typically achievable through Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures or some very rare Divine Soul Techniques.
