Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 2246: Chapter 2255: Waited for Her for More Than Two Hours

”Since the last time Old Master Jue was poisoned, his appetite has been quite poor. He hasn’t eaten much today either.” The old butler, being a clever person, guessed what Chi Enen was thinking as soon as she opened her mouth, and immediately said respectfully, ”Does the Young Lady want to make Tomato Egg Noodles for Old Master Jue? He would definitely be very happy. Actually, Old Master Jue quite likes the Tomato Egg Noodles made by the Young Lady.”

”Hmm, I’ll go make it first. It won’t take long.” Chi Enen thought this, as she was genuinely concerned about Old Master Li’s health, not trying to earn any favor.

”Old Butler, please go ahead and inform Grandfather. I’ll go to the kitchen and make Tomato Egg Noodles for him, and I’ll be there shortly.”

The old butler was happy to see her care for Old Master Li and quickly agreed, ”Alright.”

Don’t be fooled by Old Master Jue’s formidable nature his whole lifetime.

Whether it’s the second young master, the young master, or Miss Qiyun... Let’s not even mention it. Usually, when they interact, it’s either by the book or stiff business talks. Actually, Old Master Jue is getting on in years. Despite being formidable, he’s just an ordinary old man. What really touches Old Master Jue might just be a Bowl of Tomato Egg Noodles.

It’s not that the noodles are particularly delicious, but they’re very warm...

...

Chi Enen didn’t know what the old butler was thinking, she hastily went to the kitchen without even changing her clothes.

Rolling up her pajamas’ sleeves, she washed her hands and started slicing tomatoes and frying eggs.

Soon, a serving of Home-cooked Tomato Egg Noodles was ready.

She sprinkled green onions on the steaming noodles, the fiery red tomatoes and golden egg combined to create a picture perfect in color, aroma, and taste.

Chi Enen picked out one noodle with chopsticks to taste, since it was for an elderly person, she made the flavor relatively mild, and the noodles were cooked softer.

She tried it, then put down the chopsticks, her eyes formed crescent shapes, ”Done.”

The servant who came with her immediately said, ”Young Lady, the bowl is very hot, I’ll carry it.”

Chi Enen thought for a moment, nodded, and said, ”Okay.”

There were just a few tomatoes left, so she wanted to slice them and sprinkle them with white sugar to make White Sugar Tomato Slices.

Nuonuo likes these.

After the noodles, having a couple of sweet and sour tomato slices can perfectly adjust the salty taste of the noodles.

Chi Enen got right to it and finished it in no time.

She made the simplest, most home-style little treats, unlike the Li family’s Seven-star chefs who liked to fuss over presentation, she just served it directly on a plate, so it didn’t take much time.

She finished these two items and carried the plate, heading toward the Reception room where Old Master Li often stayed...

The Reception room was very large.

As soon as she entered, she saw a few personal doctors standing there looking uneasy, and a kindly old butler smiling at her.

As for Old Master Li, who was sitting on the sofa.

With such a strong aura, nobody could ignore it.

”You’re back?” Old Master Li had been scrutinizing her from the moment she entered the door. Clearly concerned, yet his face maintained a stern expression, his eyebrows furrowed, making his tone inscrutable.

”Grandfather, I’m back.”

Chi Enen placed the White Sugar Tomato Slices in front of him, and the servant following Chi Enen also placed the steaming Tomato Egg Noodles down. Under Old Master Li’s powerful presence, he immediately retreated respectfully to the side, lowered his head, and dared not speak.

”I heard from the old butler that you haven’t had much of an appetite these past two days, so I made you some Tomato Egg Noodles, Grandfather, please have a little.”
