Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1943: Chapter 1953: Unexpected Incident!

Chi Enen’s meeting was only halfway through when something happened.

First, the secretary hurriedly came in, whispered something in her ear, and Chi Enen’s expression changed, stopping the meeting.

After having everyone leave, she asked the secretary, ”What’s going on?”

The secretary was on the verge of tears with anxiety, saying, ”I don’t know either, but it was the journalists outside who called, and that’s how I found out about it.”

It was only when the journalists outside called that she found out... Chi Enen took a deep breath, her expression serious, ”What about the family members of the casualties? Has anyone been arranged to go to the hospital?”

”Not... not yet.” The secretary was already flustered upon receiving the news and couldn’t think of anything else.

She came running directly to find her.

Who could have imagined that half an hour ago they were talking about Chengjie Group’s people wanting to arrange a dinner with the representative, and in the blink of an eye, the shopping center renovation project had problems.

It was just as the shopping center was reopening, the decorative structure outside the renovation fell and killed someone.

This kind of fatal accident is definitely a major accident!

So she hurriedly came to find the representative to talk about this matter.

Chi Enen, without saying a word, directly instructed, ”Arrange for logistics people to go to the hospital, first to console the family members, and also to take care of the injured, cover all required medical expenses!”

”Yes, I will arrange it immediately.” With Chi Enen in charge, the secretary was much more calm and quickly ran out to make arrangements.

The assistant came in at this time as well, also looking anxious, and said to Chi Enen, ”Representative, outside the company, suddenly many journalists have gathered, demanding an explanation from you. What do you think...”

Chi Enen had a splitting headache, she didn’t expect such a big incident would happen just as she returned to Rainy City, and at such a coincidental timing, but now was not the time for doubt, the most urgent thing now was to solve the problem. She composed herself and calmly arranged, ”Have the Public Relations Department come to my office.”

”Yes, I will give them a call.”

The assistant used the internal line telephone to call over to the Public Relations Department, and after hanging up, looked up at Chi Enen and said, ”People from the Public Relations Department are on their way over.”

Chi Enen was much calmer, quickly saying, ”Tell me everything about the shopping center incident from start to finish, be detailed.”

”Okay.”

The assistant recounted the shopping center incident from start to finish.

Ryan is a company involved in petroleum, but besides petroleum, they also have investment projects. The large shopping mall where the incident occurred in Rainy City is one of Ryan’s investment projects.

The shopping center itself is the second largest in Rainy City, with a large area and many shops, located in the city center, so there’s usually a high flow of people.

A while ago, the decorative architecture of the square outside the shopping center had become old and needed to be demolished and reconstructed.

The management of the shopping center submitted a proposal to Ryan’s side, and the company followed the necessary procedures. But when it came to the last step, the construction company that had previously cooperated with Ryan for the construction of this shopping center suddenly had financial problems and was under investigation. In the short term, it was certainly not possible for them to take on the renovation project, and the shopping center couldn’t remain closed waiting for their investigation to be completed before commencing work. Therefore, the Project Department found a few other companies.

Because this was a temporary project, at the time, among the few companies, only Chengjie had enough manpower and materials, and after Ryan’s people checked, they chose to cooperate with Chengjie.
