Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1367: Chapter 1367: Make Me a Cup of Coffee

Li Beijue’s trip to the Yun Teng Branch Office was decided at the last minute.

Because he was called out.

Chi Enen also went along.

The Yun Teng company’s address is in the next city over; it’s an entertainment company similar to Xingyao, also a subsidiary of the Li family.

Because it is in the neighboring city, it takes some time to get there, and by the time the car arrived, it was already 3 PM.

Yun Teng had long received the news internally.

As soon as they arrived, someone immediately welcomed Li Beijue into the company.

Li Beijue is the kind of person who is all about speed and efficiency, not just in life, but also in work.

As soon as he stepped into the company, he arranged, ”Get everyone ready, I want to have a meeting in 5 minutes!”

The accompanying CEO thought he would rest a bit, perhaps have a drink before starting, but was stunned by his intense work ethic and quickly said, ”Alright, President Li, I’ll arrange it right away.”

He said this while abandoning any notion of lingering around Li Beijue, allowing the manager to accompany him to the conference room as he hurried to make arrangements.

The 5-minute window was too tight; as soon as Li Beijue reached the conference room, everyone else had to get there as well.

If he couldn’t arrange it properly in that 5 minutes, given President Li’s penchant for speed, his position as CEO might be at risk.

For the sake of his livelihood, he dared not stall or waste any time.

Externally, Yun Teng is also a big company, with its own independent operational system. Although it’s not as grand as the Li Headquarters, it is still quite large with a very modern and fashionable renovation.

The use of black-and-white tones and numerous geometric elements reflect the company’s positioning.

The corridors and elevators are filled with celebrity posters, clearly indicating what kind of company Yun Teng is.

Chi Enen followed alongside Li Beijue all the way, trying to appear efficient and composed.

The elevator doors opened on the 23rd floor.

Li Beijue was the first to step out.

”President Li, the conference room is this way, please follow me.” The manager nodded and bowed, leading the way.

Li Beijue followed him through the corridor toward the conference room on the side.

Upon reaching the conference room doorway, he suddenly instructed, ”Chi Enen, make me a cup of coffee.”

After having her coffee a few times, he couldn’t drink anyone else’s.

It’s not that the coffee tasted any different, just that he felt there was an indescribable sweetness in the coffee she made.

That sweetness wasn’t the kind of sickly, cloying taste he disliked. It was a kind of subtle lingering sweetness that inexplicably made him like it; altogether, it just felt comfortable.

Chi Enen was unaware of this magical effect her coffee had and responded instinctively upon hearing his request, ”Okay, I’ll make it right away.”

The manager, perceptive as he was, offered, ”Secretary Chi might not know where the pantries are, shall I show you the way?”

”Sure, thank you.”

”No problem, that’s my job. This way, please, Secretary Chi.” The manager pointed to the right and led the way.

Chi Enen followed behind him.

While walking, the manager explained, ”Apologies, we don’t have a pantry on this floor; only the 22nd floor does. I’ll have to trouble Secretary Chi to bring the coffee up later.”

”That’s fine.”

Chi Enen followed him down to the 22nd floor. After guiding her to the pantry, the manager headed back up to prepare for the meeting.
