Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1095: Chapter 1095: Baby Chi Slaps Scarlett in the Face

Princess Scarlett did not sense his displeasure.

She continued to coax little Xiao Nuonuo with the necklace in her hand, ”How about calling me older sister once? If you call me older sister, I’ll give this to you as a greeting gift.”

The necklace in her hand was a custom-made Swarovski, one of a kind globally, worth over a hundred thousand.

She quite liked this necklace.

However, Scarlett thought about how these beautiful little children might be the children of Li Beijue’s cousin and were loved by the Old Master, so she steeled herself.

”Call, older sister.” She smiled sweetly, gently teaching Nuonuo.

Nuonuo was not afraid of strangers, but she was smart enough not to listen to this suddenly appearing strange woman.

With big eyes like a Folded Ear Cat’s, she curiously looked at Scarlett, then at the shiny necklace in her hand, then turned her head to the boy next to her, ”Bro-brother...”

Chi Jingchen held her hand firmly, his pink lips pressed into a line. Though still childish, there was already a faint outline of a teenager. His starry eyes narrowed, and he suddenly spoke, ”Auntie, my mommy said not to accept things from strangers.”

”Also, my younger sister is small, and her body doesn’t have good resistance. Usually, things given to her need disinfection; your necklace hasn’t been disinfected, right? My sister can’t have it, you better keep it yourself.”

Auntie!

Disinfection!

He didn’t say a cursing word, but every word was harsher than a curse!

Just moments ago, Scarlett was coaxing Nuonuo to call her older sister with a smile and taking pride in being the older sister, and in the blink of an eye, he blurted out ’Auntie’.

No girl likes being called old, and a beauty like Scarlett, accustomed to flattery, certainly dislikes it even more.

On top of that, Bae Chi directly said her necklace hadn’t been disinfected; wasn’t that akin to saying she had a virus?

”You—” Even with all her ability to maintain composure, Scarlett’s pretty face twisted slightly.

The old butler immediately stood in front of Bae Chi and Nuonuo, his voice turning cold, ”Your Highness, the Little Young Master is young, and his words are artless; I hope you won’t hold it against him.”

It seems Princess Scarlett isn’t as commendable as rumored, since she argues with such young children, at least showing a lack of grace!

As a royal princess, yet lacking basic poise, it’s more disappointing than anything!

Scarlett also realized her previous lapse, awkwardly twitching at the corner of her mouth, she forced a smile. She thought of explaining, but couldn’t quite account for her previous loss of control, merely saying, ”Of course, I won’t argue with the little brother.”

However, she didn’t want to further associate with Bae Chi. Holding onto her necklace, she awkwardly smoothed things over, ”Old Butler probably has some matters to attend to? I also need to have the doctor check my knee again, so I won’t disturb you any longer.”

”Alright, Your Highness, if you need anything, you can instruct the servants anytime.” The old butler bent a little at the waist, placing his hands in front, impeccable in his demeanor.

Scarlett silently suffered this slight and was thoroughly face-slapped by Bae Chi. She didn’t want to, and was too embarrassed to stay any longer, giving a weak smile before leaving.

Chi Jingchen watched her departing figure, his thoughts unknown, as he looked on for a long time.

”Little Young Master, shall we go find the young master and Miss Chi?” Not until the old butler called out did he come back to his senses.

Holding the hand of Nuonuo, who had behaved well just now, ”Okay.”
