What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

”What do I even pay you for?” The merchant and owner of the ship seethed at me.

This guy, who had immediately gone to hide himself in a far corner of the ship when the pirates attacked, was now berating me for even letting his ship get damaged to begin with.

In fact, according to Katsuki who had been below deck during the fight because some of the Merfolk pirates used the portholes to climb inside the ship and she had been busy dealing with them... That merchant was prepared to abandon the ship and escape himself using a small boat.

Not that I expected him to fight on the frontlines with us to begin with but even if you weren’t going to show us appreciation for what we did to protect your ship... Berating us for the damages it suffered during the fight is pretty rude, don’t you think?

But well, he is still our employer so I just stood there and let him speak what he wanted while just staring blankly at him.

”All these damages, I’ll have to bill you for the repairs!”

I cleared my throat, ”I believe it is written in the Request that any damages suffered to the ship that is a result of enemy action and not from a result of our accidental negligence will not be our responsibility.”

The merchant paused and his brows furrowed, clearly not expecting me to counter his claims.

I have a feeling he thought I did not read the Request and he could just pin this blame on us so that he did not need to be responsible for it.

Still... That did not phase him as he gestured towards his men, ”You didn’t destroy the ship before they boarded our ship!! You could have done so from the start but you didn’t!! That’s negligence!!”

”The spell required time to charge and we had to buy time for that. That wasn’t negligence, it was simply a limitation of power,” I lied.

He sneered, ”Then what about the rest of your party?! Weren’t they all sleeping soundly down below the deck?! Why did they not join the fight?!”

Oof... That one’s a little problematic because it certainly was our fault.

Had my girls joined in, I would think we would have suffered fewer losses as well but there was no way I was going to tell him that.

”Weren’t the lower decks of the ship being boarded as well? My girls handled that perfectly, didn’t they now?”

”One. I saw only one. The rest of your crew were all sleeping soundly in their beds, weren’t they? You--”

Emilia suddenly appeared beside me and tossed a pouch at the merchant.

The merchant barely had time to react as the heavy pouch smacked against his chest, making him jump in surprise before his hands went up to catch the pouch as it fell.

The jingle of coins was unmistakable and I could see the merchant’s face light up with greed when he heard it.

Still, he did not open it immediately and just gave Emilia a look of curiosity.

I’m actually more surprised that he doesn’t recognise her but I guess he’s not big enough to know who she was.

Emilia crossed her arms, ”Is that payment enough for you to shut up?”

The merchant immediately pulled the pouch open, revealing the silver coins that were packed inside it.

I think there’s easily at least a few hundred Creas in there, more than enough to fix his ship of the damages it suffered.

The merchant’s eyes widened considerably at the sight of the money but he quickly hid it and tried to appear nonchalant while putting the pouch into his sleeve.

”Ahem... This is... Adequate for now. I need to calculate the damages first. Maybe it’s just short of it.”

He really still wants more after we just offered to pay him for the damages that we aren’t responsible for... No wonder merchants get such a bad rep...

We watched him turn and leave for his own quarters, no doubt to count the money we just gave him under the guise of calculating the damages.

More like he’s going to calculate how much more he can extort from us...

I turned to Emilia, ”I’m surprised that you would actually pay him.”

She smiled at me, ”That money will end up going right back to us anyway~”

I raised an eyebrow at her, ”What do you mean?”

”Ehehehe~ You’ll see Boss~ But... I’m sorry that we slept through all of that... That’s not like me at all...”

”Well... I did go quite hard on you girls last night so I would say it’s more of my fault. And we had things handled anyway so it’s no big deal, don’t worry about it.”

”Odeta was pretty upset though.”

”Of course she was... She missed out on a pretty big fight. I’ll go handle her later. Anyway... Who’s on duty now?”

”It’s me and Lisa, Boss. That’s why I’m here.”

I looked around, ”I don’t see Lisa around?”

”She’s still cleaning up below deck. She’ll come up in a while. Although...”

”What?”

”There’s quite a few wounded sailors right?”

I tilted my head at her, ”Yes? I plan to go and heal them later though, why?”

”If we count the casualties, they might not have enough people to keep this ship running efficiently... Which means we might end up reaching the port later...”

”Hmm... We could help them man the ship as well I suppose? Better than being late.”

”Ah, of course Mistress. I believe everyone else should also be waking up now so you can go and ask them if they would be willing to do so.”

”Of course, Boss. I’ll wait right up here~”

I hummed in acknowledgement before leaving her to head below deck, finding most of my girls already awake though they were mostly taking their time dressing up.

More because they were still licking off the remnants of our love making last night...

Also... Lilith was still passed out, since I made love to her just now while the others were still sleeping and she’s currently splattered with my honey which made my girls lick it off of her unashamedly.

”Girls, good morning~” I greeted them merrily.

They were all instantly on me, surrounding me with their barely clothed bodies while they rubbed themselves against me.

”Aster... You should have woken us up when the pirates attacked...”

”Sister Aster!! Not fair!! You had all the fun without us!”

”Mistress, are you alright? Did you get hurt?”

I had to assure all of them that I was alright and give them all head pats to calm them down.

I even ignored the fact that Lisa took advantage of the situation and fondled my boobs from behind before she left for the upper deck to join Emilia on her patrol shift.

I had to spend a little more time patting their heads before they finally let me go to finish dressing themselves.

”There’s a few casualties and wounded so their manpower might be insufficient. I’ll be healing the ones that are wounded but if they need help running the ship, could you girls lend a hand?” I asked.

There was a scattering of affirmatives as they agreed, leaving me free to return back up to the surface.

I stepped out onto the main deck, squinting my eyes as the afternoon sun beat down on the deck while sailors rushed around to keep the ship on course.

Looking towards the port side of the ship, I noticed something that was jutting out from the land. It was a tall, rectangular shaped silhouette that seemed to stretch towards the sky.

I was wondering what that was when Emilia appeared beside me again, watching what I was looking at with slight amusement on her lips.

”That’s one of the God’s towers, Boss. The one where you can make a request of the God that is in charge of it if you manage to reach the very top. Though I have to say that this one is completely useless to you.”

I turned to her with a tilt of my head, ”Why do you say that?”

”Because that’s Goddess Srii’s tower.”

Ah... I guess in a way, it certainly was useless since I didn’t need to conquer it to make a demand from her... Not that I do anyway but I certainly could if I wanted to.

Speaking of which... I wonder how she’s doing? It’s been a while since I last saw her.

At least I can be assured that she wasn’t planning to do anything weird to me like Drebann or Hiandoca...

Heck, even the private date requests that somehow appeared that day also contained one from her.

She just wanted to spend the day with me reading books, preferably with me laying on her lap while I let her stroke my hair.

And yes, she wrote all of that specifically.

Anyway... The tower looks pretty cool~
