What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

“I… Honestly didn’t think I would get to see a dinosaur in this world…” Christos muttered while looking at the corpse of the T-Rex.

“That’s actually a real dinosaur isn’t it?” Kabir asked, also looking at the dead T-Rex.

I shrugged, “It might just look like one but maybe it’s another type of rare monster that people might not have seen before?”

“Still… Whatever it may be, it still looks like the dinosaur we know, right?”

“I thought they said they were supposed to have feathers?” Jenna pointed out.

“How about let’s just accept this one as the real one? Eh?”

I actually agree with Kabir here.

Oh, and the girls are busy slicing up the dinosaur for parts right now while the knights were apparently documenting it for their report on the successful extermination of that monster that was wreaking havoc around the area.

I guess since this monster was defeated, the road here should be safe again… Unless another monster appears from that Dungeon I guess.

But since they knew it escaped from a Dungeon, the knights and probably the Guild must have already made plans to deal with it so I don’t think it would happen again soon.

Penelope looked over to me, “Are you really just going to carry that around though?”

Oh right, I brought the egg back out again since the fight was over so it’s currently nestled in my arms right now.

I looked down at the egg in my arms, “I suppose? I don’t really know how much mana I have to pour into this egg to make it hatch but it seems like it needs a lot. So I have to take as many chances as I can to pour my mana into it.”

“That sounds like a lot of work…”

“Well… I’m not denying it. As I said, I’m expecting it to take quite a while for this to hatch.”

Penelope seemed like she wanted to say something but then changed her mind and just shook her head.

I could already guess that she wanted to make a reference to being pregnant and carrying a baby but as I already told them, this egg did not come out from my own body.

They eventually lost interest in the dinosaur corpse as they went back to the campsite the merchant leader had set up.

As for me, I went over to where the girls were to check on how they were doing.

“Odeta!! Be careful with that!! The hide has magic resistance properties so this is going to sell for a lot if we can keep it intact!! If you tear it up the value is going to drop significantly!” Emilia shouted.

“Bahh! Cutting it with that little knife is taking so long though! It’s faster and easier to just tear it off!!”

“This is all for Boss! We can earn more money for Boss if we do this properly!”

“Ughhh… Fine, fine! I’ll do it properly!”

“No, no! Drop that! Let us cut it, I just need you to deal with the bones after we’re done!!”

Delmare looked up from where she was trying to dissect the dinosaur’s claws, “Odeta… I can use your help with these if you don’t mind?”

“Wahaha! Coming, coming!”

At the same time, Katsuki was calling out to Lisa from the tail end of the dinosaur, “Miss Lisa, I suggest that you don’t stand there since we’ll be draining the blood from there and you’ll be soaked in it.”

“Oh, do you think Aster would be happy to see me like that?”

“I do not believe so.”

“Awww… Alright then.”

I couldn’t help but chuckle at their interactions while they were dissecting the T-Rex which got their attention.

Katsuki was immediately by my side, “Is there something you require, Mistress?”

“I was thinking that you girls might need some help with this so I’m here to offer it.”

“Such tasks are beneath you, Mistress. Please allow us to do it instead.”

I feel bad for them though, since there’s only five of them and they had to cut up the entire monster by themselves.

If there was no one around, I would have called out my Shadow Guards to help them with it.

The knight leader strolled over to me, his helmet nestled under his arm.

He shot me an apologetic smile as he approached, “My apologies miss… If my men were at least experienced with dissecting monsters we would have helped but… I don’t think your companion over there would appreciate us ruining the monster materials.”

That’s true, Emilia would probably sooner do it herself if she believes the others would screw it up instead of risking a dip in profits.

I shook my head at him, “It’s fine… Though I have to ask what else you need from the di– I mean… The monster here?”

“We’re just waiting for the Mana Crystal to be dug out so that we have an idea of what rank this monster might be and report it to the Guild. In case you didn’t know, this monster originated from a Dungeon nearby and this would help us with classifying the rank of that Dungeon.”

“Ah, yes, I heard about that. I’m assuming that there might be people sent to clear out the Dungeon to prevent it from happening again?”

“That’s right. The Guild has already started building an outpost there and there should be Dungeoneers heading there soon to help trim out the monster crowd. Oh! If you’re interested, it’s actually quite near Latipac city so if you’re stopping there, you could also join the request to dive into that Dungeon.”

Hmm… Well, our current quest is just to escort this merchant convoy to that city and we’ll be free after that… So I don’t mind taking a short detour to check out that Dungeon especially if it’s going to be filled with dinosaur type monsters.

It’s not that I have a particular want to fight dinosaurs but hey, it’s something I want to check out, you know?

And from what I can see here, their materials also seem to be quite valuable so this is also a pretty big money making opportunity too.

“Mistress,” Katsuki suddenly called out, prompting me to turn towards her.

I was about to ask her what she needed until I realised she was holding a Mana Crystal that was almost as big as the size of the egg in my arms.

“We’ve extracted the Mana Crystal, Mistress.”

Wait, weren’t you just beside me a moment ago? Since when did you go… Nevermind, she does have superhuman speed after all.

The knight’s eyes widened when he saw the Mana Crystal in my Inugami maid’s hands.

“That… That’s the Mana Crystal of that monster?”

Katsuki nodded, “That is correct. Shall I hand this over to them, Mistress?”

“Ah, yes. Just to be sure, you’re not taking this from us, right?”

“Of… Of course not. There’s no way we would take something that is yours by right without at least properly compensating you for it. But… For it to be of this size… I think we may be looking at a Dungeon that is at least a C rank or even potentially a B rank…

Hmm… I did assume that the monster was a C ranked monster so I guess I might be right?

The knight groaned, “This might be more troublesome than we thought…”

“Eh? Why?” I couldn’t help but ask.

“Last I checked, there aren’t a lot of C or B ranked Dungeoneer parties around this area as another Dungeon was found near the capital city… So quite a number of them had already moved there to dive into that one which means there might not be enough people to clear this Dungeon before more monsters escape from it… And I can’t spare any knights to clear it since we would have to clean up the monsters that have been displaced by this one rampaging outside…”

I gave him a pointed look, “You’re really trying to suggest that we go and check that Dungeon out huh?”

He gave me a pleading look, “It would definitely help us if you do… Seeing that your party could already take down a monster from that Dungeon easily enough…”

“I have to tell you first though… We’re only D ranked Dungeoneers so if it’s a B ranked, we won’t be able to enter it.”

He blinked at me, “Eh? You’re… Only D ranked?”

“We haven’t really been diving into Dungeons that were higher in difficulty so… That’s why we’re still stuck at that rank.”

He pinched his chin with his free hand, “Hmm… In that case… Yes, if the Dungeon turns out to be B ranked, I’ll write a special letter of recommendation for your party to be temporarily elevated to C rank status, how about that?”

“You can do that?”

“Sort of, as long as you agree to help with that Dungeon. Depending on the results, the rank might be permanent without you needing to conquer that Dungeon.”

I turned to the girls who were still dissecting the dinosaur before turning back, “I’ll think about it.”

He bowed his head, “Thank you, please look for me at the Knight’s Outpost in Latipac city if you decide to help. We will need to return to the city now.”

He barked out an order at the other knights and they quickly mounted up before galloping in the direction of the city.

Guess we’re going Dungeon diving after this escort job is over huh?
