The Mecha Driver Is a Cultivator

Chapter 247: Chapter 135: Sacrificial Fire Upheaval (Part 2)

“But looking at it now, perhaps this Sacrificial Fire Spirit originated from the Divine Country, and by a twist of fate ended up here, inquiring about the Divine Country, precisely to find a way home!”

A few words fell.

The clansmen in the room all became extremely serious.

The lamb body of Qi Mountain fell on the table: “Xue Qi’s observations were not incorrect.”

“The young and strong here have particularly vigorous vitality. In my tribe, there are also clansmen who can reach this level, but they are very few. Here, however, it seems common.”

“To achieve this, apart from melting beast blood, they probably have other methods.”

“Lord Sacrificial Spirit.”

Xue Qi looked to Qi Mountain: “Do you… suggest that we seek refuge with this Sacrificial Fire Tribe?”

“This place would be a very good choice.”

“What do you think the Sacrificial Spirit of the Wind Language Tribe brought its people here for?”

He lightly asked, his figure gradually becoming illusory, the flame on the lamp dimming, leaving behind only one last sentence.

“I will not make the decision for you.”

“After all, after I fall due to the great limits of my life, the road ahead is ultimately for you to walk.”

The room quieted down.

…

The next day.

In the morning, the clansmen of the Wind Language Tribe and the Tu Yang Tribe were awoken by a collective voice.

Upon opening the door, they saw that within the Sacrificial Fire Tribe, clansmen were gathering in groups, young and old, men and women, practicing together with vigor and vitality.

This was gradually cultivated as a common habit following the promotion of the Breathing Technique within the tribe.

Martial Arts have no threshold, and regardless of one’s natural talent, a session of cultivation is not a bad thing.

The hall.

Qi Chuan stood respectfully at the front, listening as Qin Jin spoke about news concerning the Wind Language Tribe, seriously saying, “Lord Sacrificial Spirit, let me handle this matter.”

He hesitated for a moment, then said, “Lord Sacrificial Spirit.”

“More than a thousand people joining our tribe is no small matter.”

“With their addition, our tribe has surpassed ten thousand in number, and I have a suggestion.”

“State it.”

Qin Jin spoke.

“Recently, the exploration team encountering foreign tribes during their exploration has made initial contact.”

Qi Chuan considered his words: “In the past, tribes that had contact with one another would often maintain communication and trade.”

“Now that the aftermath of the Ancient Relic Species has passed, tribes from afar have started coming to explore this land where our tribe resides.”

“Lord Sacrificial Spirit, I believe we can take this opportunity to hold a ritual and invite foreign tribes to visit.”

He spoke coherently: “With the map provided by the Tu Yang Tribe, we can take the initiative to contact various tribes. Instead of encountering conflicts in subsequent contact, why not use the ritual to showcase our strength and tell them that this land belongs to our Sacrificial Fire Tribe!”

At this point, he looked towards the Azure Thunder Profound Halberd and quieted down.

In the cockpit, Qin Jin nodded slightly.

“A good proposal.”

He commented, then said, “You will arrange this matter.”

“The people of the Tu Yang Tribe are still in the tribe, they have contact with various tribes, you can ask them for their opinions on other tribes.”

“The envoys sent to extend invitations can travel with them.”

“Understood, old one.”

Qi Chuan bowed.

“Go arrange it.”

Qin Jin said loudly.

With a voice falling, Qi Chuan hesitated a bit, not leaving immediately.

Seeing this, Qin Jin spoke calmly: “Qi Chuan, do you have more to say?”

“Lord Sacrificial Spirit, I have one more request.”

Under the gaze of the Azure Thunder Profound Halberd, Qi Chuan solemnly said, “I wish to resign from my position as chief.”

“Why?”

Qin Jin asked.

“The tribe is becoming increasingly prosperous.”

Qi Chuan smiled bitterly: “Lord Sacrificial Spirit, in the old tribe, my status was not low, but I mainly dealt with matters like interacting with the Stone Saint and hosting rituals.”

“I have never led a tribe.”

“When the number of clansmen was small, it was manageable, but now the tribe is growing larger. Although the number doesn’t yet match the old tribe, with Lord Sacrificial Spirit passing down the Magic Technique, our tribe is becoming stronger!”

“Next, we’ll be in contact with foreign tribes.”

“At my old age, it’s not suitable for such a burgeoning tribe to have me as its leader.”

“Regardless of capability or personality, I believe I can’t continue as chief.”

At this point, he bowed: “Please, Lord Sacrificial Spirit, choose a new leader for our tribe.”

In the cockpit, a look of contemplation appeared on Qin Jin’s face.

Looking at the past, he was quite pleased with Qi Chuan, the clan leader he once appointed.

When he was not in the tribe, the other party arranged everything smoothly, and the Sacrificial Fire Tribe has not encountered any issues to this day.

However…

What the other party said was indeed not wrong.

The Sacrificial Fire Tribe is becoming stronger, and the tribe’s leader should not be an elder, as it doesn’t match the spirit of the entire tribe.

The thought passed, and Qin Jin spoke: “Qi Chuan, since you have brought it up, do you have a suitable successor in mind?”

“Yes.”

Qi Chuan seriously stated, having clearly given the matter careful consideration before presenting it to the Sacrificial Spirit, “I believe there are two suitable successors.”

“First, there’s the Rock Tiger.”

He slowly said: “Xia Rock Tiger, who was once part of the same tribe as me. I understand him more, and during this period of tribal development, he has been my assistant, understanding many tribal matters quite well. Plus, he is in his prime, with not only good strength but also resolute actions with a leadership style.”

“Second, there’s Ding Yang.”

With objective words, he said: “Ding Yang’s strength surpasses Xia Rock Tiger’s.”

“Lord Sacrificial Spirit, when you traveled, he stayed behind to guard the tribe, allowing me more interaction with him. He is diligent, highly responsible, and over time has cultivated a lot of respect among the clan while teaching them cultivation and guiding their practices, making him another suitable choice.”

“Please, Lord Sacrificial Spirit, decide the final candidate.”

Two figures flashed in Qin Jin’s mind.

After a bit of contemplation, he had already made a decision and spoke softly: “After you step down, the tribe’s leader will be Xia Rock Tiger.”

“Ding Yang will serve as his assistant.”

“However, you cannot relax either.”

A fleeting thought of consideration appeared in Qin Jin’s eyes: “Our Sacrificial Fire Tribe has already grown large, and in the future, new positions will need to be established.”

“With the leader and assistant leader at the top, we shall establish elders. Qi Chuan, you will become the first Grand Elder of our Sacrificial Fire Tribe.”

“In the future, any clansman who excels and makes outstanding contributions can be given the position of elder to partake in tribal discussions.”

“We shall leave it at that for now.”

“The affairs of the ritual, handle them properly, and when it concludes, announce the new leader’s appointment.”

“Understood, old one.”

After bowing and bidding farewell, Qi Chuan withdrew and left.

Within the hall, the Azure Thunder Profound Halberd sat alone.

“Xia Rock Tiger, Ding Yang.”

Their faces briefly flashed in his mind.

Both had left him with a deep impression, their performances certainly outstanding.

Having weighed the options, he chose Xia Rock Tiger.

This decision wasn’t because he had first encountered Xia Rock Tiger. Rather, in Qin Jin’s view, Xia Rock Tiger was more decisive, and decisiveness wasn’t a bad trait for a tribal leader.

Ding Yang had exceptional talent, and following his elevation through the chance encounter with the restriction, he currently held the highest combat power within the Sacrificial Fire Tribe.

However, the Great Wilderness Tribe’s system dictated that at the top of the tribe, there could only be the Sacrificial Spirit.

Therefore, there was no odds of Xia Rock Tiger being overpowered by anyone else.

The Sacrificial Fire Tribe began to bustle intensely.

Starting with the Wind Language Tribe’s alignment, the ritual was set, but since they had already allied themselves, they could no longer worship other sacrificial spirits.

Under Qi Chuan’s leadership, the clansmen from the Wind Language Tribe performed a ceremony, severing ties with Bai Su and offering service to Qin Jin.

Both parties parted on peaceful terms. For Bai Su, other than the diminishing golden patterns on the antlers, it did not result in any noticeable impact.

Under Qin Jin’s arrangement, it took charge of commanding the domesticated Fierce Beasts in the tribe, with additional personnel assigned to it, enabling attempts to capture more subordinates in the Great Wilderness.

The former Wind Language Sacrificial Spirit transformed into the Sacrificial Fire Tribe’s [General Lu].

After staying as guests for a few days, the Tu Yang Tribe’s delegation bid farewell and started their journey back home.

Accompanying them were the emissaries from the Sacrificial Fire Tribe, tasked with inviting tribes along a certain distance to witness and essentially declare the existence of the Sacrificial Fire Tribe to this entire area!

[Declaration] is important in any world, and the Sacrificial Fire Tribe, owing its developmental foundation to this land, naturally cannot allow others to encroach upon it in the future.

Everything was in precise order.

Meanwhile, Qin Jin extracted a method for refining the spirit from the True Scripture and passed it down.

It is worth mentioning…

To date, none of the Sacrificial Fire Tribe’s clansmen have yet to condense a complete Divine Intent.
