The Mecha Driver Is a Cultivator

Chapter 131: Chapter 91: If the Starry River Falls Dark_2

“That’s not the teaching area.”

“Ever since entering the Central Star Domain, I’ve been cultivating and haven’t paid much attention to the scenery outside.”

Qin Jin replied.

“That’s a pity.”

“But with your level, you’ll have plenty of chances to visit the headquarters campus in the future.”

The two boarded, and the vehicle started.

Candle Kite’s figure dispersed in an instant, leaving a step ahead of them.

The star shuttle moved forward.

Before long, they arrived at the dormitory area.

In an area of detached villas, the vehicle stopped.

“Qin Jin, you’ve also read the admission documents regarding benefits.”

“The treatment for S-Class students at the academy is maxed out.”

Zhong Yi pointed to the villas nearby: “Martial Arts should strive for excellence; the Martial Arts Series is destined not to be peaceful.”

“Within the Martial Arts Series, a credit rating system is adopted. Aside from specially admitted students, other students will have their initial rating determined based on their initial performance in the school selection exam.”

“From F-Level to S-Level.”

“This area where you live is exclusive to S-Class students.”

“Periodically, the academy will reevaluate the level based on students’ performance and credit acquisition.”

“However, for special admissions like you, it was only after much consideration that the academy extended the invitation.”

“The academy trusts your potential.”

“Therefore, the ratings of specially admitted students will only go up, not down.”

“Of course…”

Zhong Yi shook her head: “If someone really slacks off deliberately, the academy will adjust accordingly.”

As she spoke, Candle Kite’s figure silently reappeared in front, extending a hand, forming a light screen displaying a 3D top view of the villa area.

A finger circled above, highlighting one region.

Inside, several villas dimmed, while others remained selectable.

With a push of her hand, the light screen floated to Qin Jin’s front.

“Choose your residence.”

Candle Kite’s voice was gentle.

Qin Jin glanced over without hesitation, choosing a villa towards the center.

“All done.”

Beside him, seeing that he had made his choice, Zhong Yi snapped her fingers: “Qin Jin, I won’t accompany you to familiarize yourself with your new home.”

“Let Sister Zhu take you over.”

“During this time, focus on getting acquainted with the academy; your student life officially begins after school starts.”

“Alright.”

Qin Jin nodded: “Thank you, Senior Sister Zhong.”

“What’s there to thank me for?”

Zhong Yi laughed heartily: “You have no idea, because I put you on the observation list and successfully got you to the academy, I’ve gained quite a few rewards.”

“See you later!”

Leaving a sentence, she decisively departed with the vehicle.

Qin Jin followed Candle Kite’s projection clone, entering the villa area.

The décor of each villa was similar, and Candle Kite led the way, her gentle voice resounding: “S-Class students enjoy a range of special benefits at the academy, including a series of special resource subsidies to be distributed after school starts.”

“Inside the room, your personal terminal is placed. Once you pick it up, it will automatically bind to you.”

“If you have any questions, just contact me through the terminal.”

Ahead, Candle Kite earnestly explained everything, accelerating Qin Jin’s understanding of the academy.

Just then…

Feeling something, Qin Jin looked up to the sky.

In the sky curtain above, a blurry image emerged, using some unknown technological means.

“That’s the Sky Screen Projection.”

Candle Kite looked at him: “Your neighboring student requested its activation.”

“Qin Jin, do you want to experience it?”

Upon hearing this, Qin Jin nodded without hesitation: “Of course.”

As his response fell.

Data streams flashed in Candle Kite’s eyes.

In the next moment, a voice sounded in Qin Jin’s ear.

“This is the Celestial Beetle Star Exam Hall, the venue for this year’s Corridor Star System martial arts exam is set here.”

“The rules for this year’s martial exam remain unchanged from previous years. After basic data detection, two major stages of combat evaluation will follow…”

With the voice, Qin Jin seemed to be there in person, watching the host interview the candidates about to enter the exam hall from a short distance away.

“Additionally, you can also watch from a third-person perspective.”

As Candle Kite’s gentle voice sounded.

Qin Jin detached from the immersive experience.

In his ear, a voice sounded.

In the sky curtain, the blurry images suddenly sharpened, broadcasting the real-time footage of the school selection exam.

“It’s really advanced.”

Being from a Mining Star, Qin Jin had never encountered such things.

A hint of interest arose in his eyes.

Because of the special admission, he didn’t need to participate in the school selection exam, but he couldn’t help being curious about this trial reminiscent of a carp leaping over the Dragon Gate, and he already planned to pay attention during meals or downtime.

“Now I’m helping you adjust the permissions.”

“Once you’ve authenticated your personal terminal, you can handle these by yourself.”

Candle Kite said gently.

After taking Qin Jin to the place he chose to live, she looked at Qin Jin: “The academy respects the privacy of every student, so I won’t go in with you.”

“If you have any questions, don’t forget to ask me, okay?”

Once she finished speaking, her projection dissipated.

Qin Jin glanced around, completed the identity verification, and then opened the door to enter.

His “home” at the Wuyuan Academy came into view.

The villa had three floors in total, with a warm color scheme for the decor.

Around the front yard, various plants were planted, and a specialized robot was automatically watering them as Qin Jin entered.

Qin Jin entered the room and thoroughly familiarized himself with the interior.

The backyard of the villa was more spacious, seemingly a place for the Martial Arts Family to practice martial arts. After testing it a bit, Qin Jin nodded in satisfaction.

This area was sufficient for him to wield the [Azure Thunder Profound Halberd] and still have ample space.

This way, he wouldn’t need to find another place when maintaining his mecha.

Upon returning to the living room, Qin Jin eyed the conspicuous box on the table in the middle and opened it directly.

Inside was a wristwatch, also known as the [personal terminal].

As he picked up the wristwatch, a prompt sounded within it.

[Identity information being confirmed…]

[Special Recruitment Student: Qin Jin]

[Confirmation complete]

[Binding personal terminal…]

[Binding successful]

With the final prompt, a light screen rose up, listing line after line of information above.

[Student: Qin Jin]

[Age: 16]

[Current Rating: S-Level (Special Recruitment)]

[Current Credits: ~]

[Inheritance Seed]

Qin Jin’s gaze lingered above.

Credits.

During his journey to the residence with Candle Kite, she explained these in detail.

It’s a crucial aspect of Wuyuan Academy, not only affecting student ratings, but credits themselves could also be viewed as a form of trade currency within the academy.

However…

Qin Jin’s credits section did not display specific data.

That’s because of the last piece of information.

[Inheritance Seed]

According to Zhong Yi’s introduction, once classified as an inheritance seed, a specific graduation timeline is not set, and Wuyuan Academy will provide ongoing support throughout Qin Jin’s martial arts career.

This potential value is immeasurable.

For those who are inheritance seeds within the academy, they are already detached from the credit model.

Of course, upon starting school, the credits he acquires will also be normally issued.

Qin Jin familiarized himself with the personal terminal.

The functions above were complete, including but not limited to communication, shopping, meal ordering, booking special cultivation sites… etc., extremely comprehensive.

Though currently on vacation, as a specially recruited student who arrived at the academy early to familiarize himself, Qin Jin could already order meals from above.

In the menu options, the food was specially matched, using top-tier ingredients.

In all aspects…

It demonstrated the wealth and resources of Wuyuan Academy, this top-tier institution within the Star System.

“This is just the beginning…”

Qin Jin’s thoughts flipped: “Once the school starts, the S-Level student, and inheritance seed status will truly come into play.”

“By then…”

“I will welcome a rapid growth period.”

“The specific treatment will likely far exceed that of Teacher Chu’s base.”

Inside the villa, Life Index and Spiritual Index detection devices were installed.

Convenient for students to understand their condition at any time.

However, Qin Jin himself had a profession panel, so these two devices weren’t of much use.

He looked at the instruments, thoughts flashing through his mind.

“When on the Mining Star, Yan Yue was always hoping the school would install this too.”

“Now at the top-tier institution, every residence directly has one.”

Qin Jin’s eyes filled with anticipation: “However, the future of Mining Star will also be like this.”

As the thought flashed by…

Suddenly, the personal terminal quivered slightly, issuing a visitor alert.

Qin Jin gently touched the screen, and the light screen displayed the situation outside the villa.

A young man and woman, both looking very young, were waiting outside the villa.

Qin Jin immediately realized their identity.

“These are my classmates from the same year.”

“Furthermore…”

“They are also students who received the S-Level special recruitment qualification!”
