All Beautiful Girls Want to Stick with Me

After leaving the love hotel.

Kotomi Izumi led Yui Yuigahama and Yukino Yukinoshita to the restaurant she had just decided on.

Kotomi had always had good taste in food, so both Yui and Yukino trusted her choice and followed her without question.

But when they arrived at the restaurant Kotomi had chosen, both Yui Yuigahama and Yukino Yukinoshita could not help glancing at her, wondering if she was unfamiliar with Kyoto and had walked into the wrong place.

Yet when they saw Kotomi stride straight in and begin ordering, small question marks seemed to pop up over their heads.

The food at this restaurant was served very quickly, though customers had to pick it up at the counter themselves.

Before long, all three of their meals were ready.

”The food’s here, the food’s here. I’m starving to death. This should be our first proper meal since arriving in Kyoto. Love hotels are nice and all, but without a buffet breakfast, it feels like something’s missing. Though come to think of it, how could a love hotel possibly prepare a buffet breakfast?”

Kotomi unwrapped the paper around her food and took a big bite, her cheeks puffed out adorably, filled with happiness.

”Kotomi... are you sure we didn’t come to the wrong restaurant?”

Yukino looked at the food on the table, then at Kotomi, and could not help asking. She was not picky, but arriving in Kyoto and having this as their first meal... it felt oddly out of place.

Sitting beside Kotomi, Yui Yuigahama also found it a little strange, but she did not say anything. At home, she cooked whatever Kotomi wanted to eat. Outside, she ate whatever Kotomi chose. She never ate too much, just in case Kotomi’s portion was not enough—then she could give her own to Kotomi.

Facing Yukino’s doubt, Kotomi shook her head solemnly.

”We didn’t come to the wrong place. I’m not very familiar with Kyoto, sure, but as long as we follow the map app’s navigation, there won’t be any problem.”

Once she realized Kotomi had come here intentionally—and not by accident—Yukino could not help sighing and rubbing the corner of her eye.

”Why is our first meal in Kyoto Burger King?”

Yes.

After thinking for quite a while, the restaurant Kotomi had ultimately chosen was—Burger King.

Kotomi grinned. They were seated by the window, so she pointed outside.

”There’s actually a KFC not far from here. If today were Thursday, I would’ve chosen KFC instead. Crazy Thursday.”

”That’s not what I mean! I’m not asking about Burger King or KFC. I’m asking why we came all the way to Kyoto just to eat burgers for our first meal. Isn’t that too strange?”

”No, no, it’s not strange at all. Honestly, I’ve never really understood something. Beef, vegetables, bread—these are all healthy foods. So why is it that when you stack them together into a burger, it suddenly becomes junk food?”

”When you put it that way... beef, vegetables, and bread are indeed healthy foods... No, wait. Don’t change the subject. You still haven’t explained why we traveled all the way to Kyoto just to eat burgers!”

Yukino quickly pulled the topic back before Kotomi could derail it again.

Seeing that her attempt to divert the conversation had failed, Kotomi pouted slightly.

”It’s not that I particularly wanted burgers. I’m just too hungry. I didn’t want to spend extra time going somewhere farther away. I just wanted to fill my stomach as quickly as possible. There are pitifully few restaurants near the love hotel. Aside from this Burger King, there’s only KFC and Pizza Hut.

”KFC is out because it’s not Crazy Thursday. If it’s not Thursday, I rarely crave KFC. Compared to KFC, I prefer Burger King and McDonald’s.

”Pizza Hut would’ve been fine too. I haven’t had pizza in a while. But I checked on the map app, and that Pizza Hut has been closed for renovations for the past two months.

”So naturally, I chose Burger King.”

As she said this, her gaze unconsciously flicked toward the children’s meal she had ordered.

It’s definitely not because the kids’ meal comes with a Decker Ultraman capsule toy lately!

”I see. But ordering a kids’ meal really doesn’t seem like your style.”

After speaking, Yukino glanced at the children’s meal by Kotomi’s side.

In her impression, Kotomi rarely ordered set meals when eating burgers. She usually ordered items individually, picking exactly what she liked.

Especially children’s meals. To put it bluntly, even when Kotomi was a child, no burger chain’s kids’ meal would have been enough for her appetite.

Yet after ordering a pile of burgers, sides, and drinks, she had still added a children’s meal.

”Hehe... just reliving a bit of childhood~” Kotomi said awkwardly.

Yukino glanced again at what came with the children’s meal, then looked at the promotional poster on the wall not far away. Understanding dawned instantly, and a smile curved her lips.

”So you like Ultraman~”

”Hahaha...”

Kotomi let out a dry laugh, feeling inexplicably embarrassed.

”Honestly. If you wanted the Ultraman toy from the kids’ meal, you could’ve just said so. Do you think I would laugh at you? I was wondering how much you must love burgers to choose them as our first meal in Kyoto.”

Yukino shrugged, smiling with mild helplessness.

Kotomi did not continue that topic. Instead, she said directly,

”Yukino, you look really pretty when you smile. You should smile more often.”

The smile lingering at Yukino’s lips faltered.

Her heart first felt pleased, but then, because of what Kotomi had said, her cheeks gradually warmed with embarrassment. She quickly suppressed her smile and turned to look out the window as if she had not heard anything.

Yukino really likes hearing me praise her. She wants me to compliment her more. But every time I do, she gets shy. I’ll remember this about her. From now on, I should praise her more. No special reason—I just want to see the Ice Queen, Yukino Yukinoshita, blush more often.

Kotomi thought to herself.

After finishing their meal, just as Kotomi was about to head to the restroom, Yui Yuigahama, who had followed her over, suddenly tugged at the hem of her clothes.

”Yui? Is something wrong?” Kotomi stopped and turned around.

Yui did not answer immediately. Instead, she gave Kotomi an adorable smile.

That smile made warmth well up in Kotomi’s heart.

After smiling, Yui hurriedly asked,

”Kotomi... do I look pretty when I smile?”

”You do.”

Kotomi nodded. Yui’s smile was indeed very cute. Every time she saw it, she felt the urge to pinch her cheeks.

Hearing that, Yui first let out a small sigh of relief. Then, her face flushing slightly, she spoke with a hint of jealousy in her tone.

”If my smile is pretty too, then when you tell Yukino that she looks pretty when she smiles, could you praise me too? Every time you only compliment Yukino’s smile. You rarely compliment mine.

”I-Is that too petty of me? But when I hear you praise another girl, my heart feels really uncomfortable... like I just gulped down a huge bowl of vinegar...”

As she spoke, Yui lowered her head, her cheeks faintly pink. Her clear, watery eyes were pure and gentle, like a particularly obedient little puppy whose greatest wish was simply to stay with Kotomi forever.

The innocence in her gaze stood in stark contrast to the occasional depth in Kotomi’s eyes.

After listening, Kotomi froze for a moment.

Then, seeing Yui’s expression and hearing her words, an indulgent smile unconsciously curved at the corners of her lips.

This silly little dumpling is jealous~

With a doting smile at the corner of her lips, Kotomi Izumi looked at Yui while thinking to herself.

She had always known that this silly dumpling could get jealous easily, but she had not expected her to be this jealous. Just praising Yukino’s smile was enough to make Yui secretly drink vinegar.

Kotomi could not help reflecting inwardly for a moment. The reason Yui got jealous so easily was, in the end, because she herself had never really kept her distance from other girls in front of Yui.

In that case, when I flirt and tease other girls in the future, I’ll just be more careful not to let Yui see. I’m so smart~

After that brief ”self-reflection,” this was the brilliant conclusion Kotomi arrived at.

”Jealous?” Kotomi asked with a mischievous smile, even though she already knew the answer.

Yui puffed out her cheeks and nodded, unaware that Kotomi was asking on purpose.

”Pfft...”

Looking at Yui’s little face filled with petty emotions, Kotomi had originally planned to hold back her laughter—but in the end, she could not stop herself and burst out laughing, laughing so hard she even started coughing.

Yui had no idea why Kotomi was laughing. She could only stand there obediently, waiting for her to finish.

”Hahaha... I knew you were especially prone to jealousy, but I still underestimated you. My praise for Yukino was purely a compliment between friends, and yet you still got jealous.

”Don’t tell me you suspect I have other thoughts about Yukino?!”

By the end of the sentence, Kotomi deliberately made her tone sound stern.

Yui trusted Kotomi deeply to begin with. Hearing her say that, how could she still focus on jealousy? She hurriedly shook her head.

”No, no! Kotomi, that’s not what I meant!”

”Even if you say it’s not, I’m still a little unhappy. If you’re always jealous, maybe~ it’s because deep down you see me as some kind of flirtatious bad girl. Hmph!”

Kotomi snorted lightly and deliberately turned as if she were about to leave.

How could Yui possibly tell that Kotomi was acting?

Her intelligence was not high to begin with, and the moment Kotomi appeared even slightly angry, her IQ would immediately drop into negative numbers.

Even if Kotomi was the one at fault, as long as she pretended to be upset or angry, Yui would instantly think it was because she had not done well enough, and would tearfully beg Kotomi not to be mad.

”Kotomi, don’t be angry. It’s all my fault.” Yui quickly grabbed Kotomi’s small hand.

”And what exactly did you do wrong?” Kotomi huffed.

Yui racked her brain for a long time but could not come up with anything. Blushing, she admitted honestly,

”I’m sorry, Kotomi. I don’t know... But if you’re angry, then it must be my fault.”

”Pfft...”

Kotomi had intended to keep up the act a little longer, but hearing Yui say that, she could not help laughing again.

With Yui’s personality, Kotomi herself was not sure whether she should call her honest or foolish.

When Kotomi asked what she had done wrong, Yui had not actually done anything wrong, so of course she did not know what to say. Kotomi knew that very well.

If Kotomi were the one answering, she would have easily made up some outrageous ”mistake”—so absurd that just hearing it would make anyone forget their anger.

But Yui was silly. Whatever Kotomi said, she believed. How could she possibly understand the sly thoughts of a little fox like Kotomi?

”You really are a silly dumpling. Good thing I only tease you on a whim once in a while. I never lie to you, and I never say a single false word to you. Otherwise, you’d have been completely spun around in circles by me long ago.”

Kotomi smiled indulgently and reached out to lightly pinch Yui’s nose.

”Kotomi, you’re so good to me.”

Yui, naturally, believed every word without doubt. Her heart swelled with emotion.

”I’m your girlfriend. Of course I’m good to you~” Kotomi said with a matter-of-fact smile. ”Next time, when I compliment another girl, will you still get jealous?”

”I will.”

Yui was always honest. If Kotomi asked, she would tell the truth.

”Such a little vinegar jar. If you’re this jealous, then you’d better work harder and marry me sooner, get me pregnant with a little baby. Then... maybe you’ll get to monopolize me for a bit longer~”

Kotomi’s lips curved into a meaningful smile. Her voice carried a seductive undertone, like the whisper from Pandora’s box—tempting anyone who heard it to draw closer, their minds filled with only one thought: reach out and open it.

”I don’t want to just monopolize you for a little while. I want to monopolize you completely!”

Kotomi’s words instantly occupied Yui’s mind. The little rationality she had left dissolved into impulse. She suddenly pulled Kotomi into a tight embrace.

”Silly dumpling, don’t suddenly hug me like that... Even if there aren’t many people around, you can’t just hug in a burger shop...”

Just moments ago, Kotomi had been slightly domineering. Now, being hugged unexpectedly by Yui, her cheeks flushed with shy redness.

Though she usually acted like a proud queen holding a leash around Yui’s neck, the moment Yui became proactive, Kotomi would turn into a bashful little wife. Even a simple kiss was enough to make a rosy blush spread all the way to her ears, lingering for a long time.

Kotomi glanced around with a red face. Fortunately, no one was nearby. If she had been hugged like this in front of many people, she would have been so embarrassed she might have covered her face on the spot.

”I’m going to marry Kotomi! I’m going to marry Kotomi! I’m going to marry Kotomi!”

Holding Kotomi tightly, Yui, without much thought, repeated the same sentence over and over like a simple fool. Her voice was soft, yet stubbornly resolute.

Listening to Yui hug her and repeat those words like a little idiot, Kotomi’s expression softened. She gently stroked Yui’s hair.

”Silly dumpling. When it’s just the two of us, I’m already your wife... As for whether you can truly put a ring on my ring finger—that depends on your ability~ Marrying me won’t be that easy.”

...

Meanwhile, Yukino Yukinoshita sat in her seat, waiting for Kotomi and Yui to return.

She glanced at the time on her phone.

Why were they taking so long?

Didn’t they say they were just going to wash their hands?

It had almost been ten minutes. Why were they still not back?

Yukino looked toward the direction where Kotomi and Yui had left.

She felt an urge to stand up and walk over—to see exactly what those two were doing.
