All Beautiful Girls Want to Stick with Me

”Megumi, you’re back!” Kotomi’s delicate and beautiful face lit up with delight at the sight of Kato Megumi.

Kotomi was overjoyed to see Megumi return, but Aimi was clearly upset. Stammering in disbelief, she said, ”Y-you weren’t supposed to be back from Hokkaido yet?!”

Aimi’s reaction was understandable. Earlier, Kotomi had only mentioned that Megumi was going to Hokkaido but didn’t specify when she would return. After all, the Izumi family was known for extending their trips. They often planned to leave on Friday and return on Monday, but the trips usually stretched until the following Thursday. Kotomi had assumed Megumi might stay in Hokkaido a few extra days.

Aimi thought so too.

But unexpectedly, Megumi returned right on schedule on Sunday.

”I took this morning’s flight back to Chiba,” Megumi explained with a soft smile. ”The rain delayed the flight a bit, so we didn’t land at Chiba Airport until around 3 p.m.”

”Tch—couldn’t it have rained harder in Hokkaido?” Aimi muttered through gritted teeth.

Though she kept her voice low, Megumi still caught the remark.

Instead of getting angry, Megumi’s smile only deepened. ”Aimi, you’re getting more and more inconsiderate. Since when do you let your sister hold the umbrella for you all the time? Look, her shoulder is already half-soaked. Are you the kind of person who only thinks of herself and doesn’t care about her sister at all?”

”What? That’s not true! Stop trying to drive a wedge between us! It’s just because this umbrella is too small!” Aimi shouted, her face flushing red with anger. Megumi always seemed to have a hundred ways to completely dismantle her defenses, leaving her ”furious and exasperated.”

Without another word, Aimi snatched the umbrella handle from Kotomi’s hand, took off her own jacket, and draped it over Kotomi’s shoulders. She shifted the umbrella closer to Kotomi while smugly thinking to herself:

Hmph, Megumi, Kotomi’s probably never worn your jacket, right? Are you jealous? Every time I do this, my jacket gets infused with Kotomi’s scent. Envy me, why don’t you?

Aimi shot a triumphant look at Megumi and noticed her lips curling slightly, as if suppressing a reaction. Convinced she’d won this round, Aimi gleefully interpreted Megumi’s expression as jealousy.

The imaginary scene in Aimi’s mind resembled a glorious victory at the beach, with Megumi collapsing defeated to the left. Aimi’s inner thoughts burst into laughter:

Megumi, I’ve always wanted to see that look on your face—jealous of me! Hahaha!!!

But before Aimi could outwardly celebrate her supposed victory, a casual glance to the side froze her smile. She suddenly realized that Kotomi, who had been standing next to her, was now under Megumi’s umbrella!

The smug expression that hadn’t even fully formed on Aimi’s face instantly shattered, leaving her stone-faced and dumbfounded as she stared at the two of them. How could things have turned out so differently from what she’d imagined? This wasn’t fair at all!

While Aimi thought Megumi was jealous, Megumi had already taken advantage of Aimi’s distraction. She’d grabbed Kotomi’s hand, pulled her close, and positioned her under her sakura-pink umbrella. The large umbrella shielded both of them from the falling rain, ensuring that neither of their shoulders would get wet.

Compared to Megumi’s large umbrella, Aimi’s small folding umbrella suddenly seemed pitifully inadequate.

”Sharing an umbrella really does require a large one,” Megumi remarked, her tone full of gentle affection as she looked at Kotomi. ”That way, neither person has to worry about getting wet.”

She then shook the large shopping bags in her hands.

”I just went to the supermarket to buy some fruit. Originally, I was planning to drop by your house afterward to deliver some souvenirs I brought back from Hokkaido. But as soon as I left the supermarket, I spotted you two not far away. Kotomi, it seems the red string of fate truly connects us~”

”Don’t say it so sweetly… Aimi’s listening, and I feel embarrassed.”

Kotomi’s body shivered slightly. Her cheeks flushed red as she leaned close and whispered in a voice only she and Megumi could hear.

”Anyway, there’s still some time before dinner. Can I come to your house?” Megumi softly asked, leaning closer to Kotomi and intentionally exhaling warm breath near her cheek.

”Y-yes, you can.”

Kotomi nodded lightly, her face even redder.

”Aimi, let’s go. Time to head home,” Kotomi called out to her younger sister, who stood frozen in place.

Aimi snapped out of her daze, only to see Kotomi wearing her jacket and walking under Megumi’s large umbrella. The two were practically pressed together as they walked away. Aimi stood there, lowering her head in silence.

Pathetic. Utterly pathetic.

The rain falling from the sky wasn’t rain—it was tears!

Grass—not just a plant, but an elegant expression of lament.

Aimi couldn’t shake the feeling that the universe was out to get her!

That slyly… adorable god above had given her beauty and grace that rivaled Kotomi’s, blessed her with an intelligence that spared her parents any worries about her studies, and gifted her academic achievements that always shone. Yet for some unfathomable reason, this same god had surrounded her sister with an endless parade of beautiful girls who all seemed to covet her in ways that were anything but innocent!

Leading this parade was none other than Megumi Kato.

This devious woman, so full of cunning schemes, made Aimi think every time she saw her: If I stabbed her once, would she bleed black blood?

...

”Wait, what?! Kotomi, you’ve been through all this while I was gone?”

Inside Kotomi’s room, Megumi sat wide-eyed after listening to what had happened in the past three days. From being stalked by a murderer to single-handedly rescuing a young girl while armed only with an umbrella, Kotomi’s bravery had left Megumi utterly astonished.

Even the typically calm and composed Megumi couldn’t hide her shock, her mouth hanging open in disbelief.

Of course, both Kotomi and Aimi instinctively kept Iroha Isshiki’s involvement a secret, carefully omitting her name from the story.

Before Kotomi could respond further, their mother’s voice rang out, calling Aimi downstairs to help. Lately, Aimi’s knife skills had improved significantly, so her mother often asked for her assistance in the kitchen.

”You’d better not do anything weird to my sister while I’m gone!”

Though Aimi was reluctant to leave Kotomi alone with Megumi, she had no choice. She shot a warning glare at Megumi before dragging her feet out of the room.

”Don’t worry, I won’t~” Megumi responded cheerfully with a smile.

Even Kotomi didn’t believe her!

The moment Aimi left, Megumi effortlessly moved from her spot at the desk to sit beside Kotomi. With her legs together and posture prim, she stole glances at Kotomi’s profile while listening intently for any signs of Aimi’s return.

When the sound of Aimi descending the stairs finally faded away, a bright, mischievous smile appeared on Megumi’s face—a look that unmistakably said, She’s finally gone.

It was the perfect moment for her to bare her ”fangs.”

And those ”fangs” were aimed squarely at Kotomi’s sense of shame.

”Kotomi, give me a kiss~.”

Even after being in a relationship for so long, Megumi Kato still didn’t understand the concept of setting the mood. Every time, she acted so abruptly, leaving Kotomi defenseless and utterly taken over.

Or perhaps it was precisely because they were in a relationship that Megumi didn’t bother with preliminaries anymore and always went straight to the point?

In an instant, Kotomi’s cheeks flushed, and her mouth became a bit dry.

Before Kotomi could respond, Megumi leaned in, wrapping her in a warm embrace. She whispered softly in Kotomi’s ear:

”You’re being naughty.”

”Mmm…” Kotomi nodded lightly, her face reddening further.

”No more dangerous stunts like that in the future. If there’s ever a threat, run away immediately. Understand?” Megumi’s tone was unusually serious.

”I understand.”

”Good girl.”

Megumi intertwined her left hand with Kotomi’s right, their fingers locking together tightly, as if she never wanted to let go.

With her other hand, she gently cupped Kotomi’s chin, her fingers brushing delicately along the skin as if adjusting the angle.

The soft touch sent a shiver down Kotomi’s spine.

Megumi leaned in further, planting a gentle kiss on Kotomi’s velvety lips.

”No wonder you kept complaining about not wanting to stay in Hokkaido anymore, saying it was boring. Turns out it’s because I wasn’t with you, right?” Kotomi muttered shyly, her face still flushed.

During her three days in Hokkaido, Megumi had constantly sent Kotomi messages complaining about how bored she was and how much she wanted to return to Chiba. Sometimes she would even call just to whine and beg Kotomi to send her videos of herself in pajamas.

From the time Megumi left for Hokkaido until her return, Kotomi had sent her no less than ten videos of herself in pajamas.

Megumi admitted without hesitation:

”Of course! If you had come with me to Hokkaido, I wouldn’t have felt bored even if I stayed for three years instead of three days! As long as you’re with me, I’d feel happy no matter where I was.”

Megumi’s gentle tone made Kotomi’s cheeks redden further. Embarrassed, she turned her gaze away and muttered softly, ”Did you eat candy or something? Why are you so sweet today?”

”Because I missed you so much. Three whole days without seeing you! Do you have any idea how unbearable that was for me? It felt like the longest torture!”

Megumi hugged Kotomi tightly, her voice soft and sweet like melted honey. Listening to her, Kotomi felt as though she was tasting a piece of milk candy.

Kotomi had always thought it was only Megumi’s assertive side that left her completely defenseless. But now, she realized that Megumi’s playful, sweet side was just as disarming.

Hearing Megumi talk about missing her warmed Kotomi’s heart, and she couldn’t help but lean close to Megumi’s ear, her voice dripping with sweetness as she whispered:

”I missed you too~.”

”Megumi, where did you throw my skirt?”

”Oh, sorry… I wasn’t paying attention. I think I might have tossed it under the bed.”

In the kitchen, Aimi was cutting vegetables when her delicate eyebrows furrowed slightly. Something felt off, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. There was an uncomfortable feeling in her chest.

”Aimi, you shouldn’t chop cabbage with that much force. Are you trying to cut through bone?”

Her mother, Akina, reminded her gently from the side.

”Oh… right…” Aimi muttered absentmindedly, speeding up her chopping. She couldn’t wait to finish and return to the bedroom as soon as possible.
