All Beautiful Girls Want to Stick with Me

Under Izumi Kotomi’s explanation, the entire class focused intently. As Mr. Nakamori, the teacher, listened to Izumi Kotomi’s explanation of the problem, he nodded in satisfaction.

Izumi Kotomi displayed excellent logical thinking in understanding and solving the problem, and even came up with some approaches that Mr. Nakamori, despite his many years of teaching, had never considered.

”The final answer to this problem is that the range of real number m is (0, 2).”

After writing down the correct answer, Izumi Kotomi put down the chalk and looked at Mr. Nakamori with a smile, asking, ”Did I solve it correctly, sir?”

Mr. Nakamori, who had been momentarily lost in thought, quickly came to his senses and nodded, saying, ”Absolutely correct. Izumi Kotomi, you may return to your seat now. Everyone, try to learn from Izumi Kotomi. You’ve all just entered high school, and although you’re only first-years now, that doesn’t mean you can slack off. The three years of high school may seem long, but they pass in the blink of an eye. By the time you realize the importance of studying, the college entrance exams will be right around the corner.”

Applause broke out—applause for Izumi Kotomi. Originally, the students thought she was just a very pretty girl, but now they realized that she was not only beautiful but also a top student.

The classmates began to recognize Izumi Kotomi’s excellence. In school, academic achievers naturally earn respect, and even more so when that achiever is a cute girl.

Izumi Kotomi walked down from the podium, returning to her seat amid the applause of her classmates.

After sitting back down, Izumi Kotomi quietly let out a sigh of relief.

On the surface, she had been composed and methodical in her explanation.

But in reality, she had been incredibly nervous!

Being called to the front to solve a problem on the first day of school—thankfully, she had unlocked the God-Level Heroine System’s learning ability in advance. Otherwise, the reception she got when stepping down from the podium might not have been applause but laughter.

”Kotomi, you were amazing just now. The way you explained the problem made you seem more like a teacher than a student,” Megumi Kato said with a light laugh.

”Really?”

Hearing this from Megumi Kato, Izumi Kotomi blushed slightly, scratching her head in embarrassment. All she had done was try to explain the solution as straightforwardly as possible.

”Mm-hmm, if you hadn’t been wearing a school uniform just now, you would have looked exactly like a beautiful teacher~,” Megumi Kato joked in her lighthearted tone, making it hard to tell if she was being serious or just teasing.

”Kotomi, you’re surprisingly good at studying,” Yukinoshita Yukino, sitting in the front row, commented.

”Did I not seem like someone who was good at studying before?”

”No.” Yukinoshita Yukino nodded without a hint of hesitation.

Such directness.

As for Yui Yuigahama...

Izumi Kotomi glanced up, and sure enough, Yui Yuigahama, who had insisted earlier that she only occasionally dozed off, was now once again napping on her desk.

Truly, she was the epitome of someone who paid no heed to the world around her.

As Izumi Kotomi observed Yui Yuigahama napping on her desk, Megumi Kato, sitting beside her, suddenly said out of the blue:

”It’s really beautiful.”

”Hm?”

”Your drawing. I accidentally saw what you were sketching earlier,” Megumi Kato said with an admiring smile. ”Kotomi, your drawing is really lovely. Is the girl you drew someone you know? A close friend?”

Hearing this, Izumi Kotomi suddenly remembered that she had been sketching in her notebook earlier. She had been so absorbed in drawing that she hadn’t even realized what she had drawn.

Izumi Kotomi looked down at her notebook.

A beautiful girl with an innocent expression, a mix of natural airheadedness and a kuudere vibe, was vividly brought to life on the page.

Since she had only used a pencil, the drawing was in black and white, but if she could add watercolor, she would definitely color the girl’s hair blonde and her eyes a pure, slightly dazed orange-red.

Slender waist, fair skin.

Mashiro Shiina—this was her name.

Izumi Kotomi was a bit surprised; she hadn’t expected that the girl she sketched absentmindedly would be Mashiro Shiina.

And Megumi Kato had seen it...

”Oh, no, it was just a random sketch of a girl,” Izumi Kotomi quickly found an excuse.

”But it’s really cute. And it feels so realistic, as if she could exist in real life.”

”I’m happy to hear that, Megumi,” Izumi Kotomi smiled, but she couldn’t help but look at her drawing of Mashiro Shiina again.

When she had checked the student roster earlier, she hadn’t seen the name Mashiro Shiina, which meant she wasn’t currently attending Sobu High School.

But why did she have such a strong feeling?

As if Mashiro Shiina was about to step into her life.

Izumi Kotomi thought about it for a long time, but couldn’t come up with any clues. Shaking her adorable little head, she decided not to dwell on it.

But her drawing of Mashiro really was cute.

She had captured Mashiro’s natural airheadedness, kuudere vibe, and innocent demeanor perfectly.

It was the best drawing she had done since she started practicing.

Izumi Kotomi was very pleased with the final result and decided that once she got home, she would tear out the page and keep it as a memento.

The day passed quickly.

As the final bell of the afternoon rang, the students stood and said goodbye to Shizuka Hiratsuka:

”Stand! Goodbye, teacher!”

”Goodbye, everyone. Make sure you head home quickly after school. Oh, by the way, I mentioned club activities before class, so make sure you think about which club you want to join. Whether you join a club or not, decide within the next few days. You’ll need to submit your club applications within a week.”

After Shizuka Hiratsuka left, the students began packing their bags, getting ready to head home.

Izumi Kotomi quickly packed up her things. Since it was the first day of school, there wasn’t much homework, so she finished packing quickly.

After packing her bag, Izumi Kotomi stood up, ready to leave school and go home to play some Azur Lane.

The Azur Lane event ”The Sacred Tragedy” was about to end, and she was just a bit short of progress to exchange for Littorio.

”Tonight, I’ll focus on grinding. I missed out on Littorio last time, so I have to get her this time!” Izumi Kotomi resolved, clenching her small fist.

If she had brought her Bluetooth headphones today, she would have even tried to grind during class.

”Kotomi.” Megumi Kato, who had just finished wiping the blackboard, walked over and stood in front of Izumi Kotomi, smiling as she said, ”Shall we go home together?”

Megumi Kato stood very close to Izumi Kotomi, looking less like she was waiting for her and more like she was blocking her way.

It seemed that if Izumi Kotomi didn’t say she wanted to go home together, Megumi Kato wouldn’t let her leave.

Feeling hungry and craving a crepe, Izumi Kotomi didn’t notice how close Megumi Kato was standing. As she picked up her bag, she said:

”Mm-hmm, let’s go home together. Can we take a slightly longer route? I want to buy a crepe.”

Hearing that Izumi Kotomi would go home with her, Megumi Kato finally showed a genuine smile:

”Of course, we can. I was thinking about having a crepe myself.”
