Shrouding the Heavens

Chapter 200 - 201 Chapter 205 The Daylight of Humanity

201: Chapter 205 The Daylight of Humanity 201: Chapter 205 The Daylight of Humanity The sunset was gentle, the evening glow like water, tinting the stone village with threads of golden-red light in the afterglow of the setting sun.

Each house was built with large stones.

Ye Fan and Fifth Grandpa Zhang sat on a bluestone, watching the red sun on the horizon and speaking in low voices.

“Our mysterious ancestor behaved strangely in his later years and often disappeared.

Once, he vanished for more than half a year, and when he reappeared, he brought back two infants, who were extremely special.” They must be the ancestors of the Wang and Lei families, Ye Fan thought, and asked, “What was special about them?” “Those two infants had extraordinary strength, able to lift adults.” This was passed down through the Zhang family.

Ye Fan was astonished.

Infants able to lift adults…

This goes against common sense; no matter how great the talent, it’s impossible, he thought, and asked, “Are they…

human race?” This was a suspicion he had long held; the so-called mysterious bloodline led to many speculations, especially after hearing Tu Fei talk about those secrets, he formed many assumptions.

“You thought the same, didn’t you?

Indeed, besides this, they had other traits, unlike humans.” Fifth Grandpa Zhang’s voice was calm as he said, “Their blood was silver, their foreheads could emit light, they had double pupils, and many other peculiarities.

So much time has passed that much of this information has been lost.” Ye Fan was shocked.

Silver blood clearly wasn’t human; a glowing forehead meant they were surely born with Divine Abilities.

As for double pupils, that was even more special; in ancient palace’s mythology, such people are often ancient emperors.

If not of the human race, it’s hard to say.

“So…

special…” Ye Fan stroked his chin in contemplation.

After a long time, he asked, “Did the Heavenly Source Master say anything?

Didn’t he tell of their origins?” “At that time, the mysterious ancestor behaved bizarrely.

What he did was hard for outsiders to understand.

He personally sealed those two infants…” The Heavenly Source Master instructed later generations to have them marry human wives.

If the children born were also unique, they too should be sealed.

However, he did not reveal their origins.

No one knows how many generations passed, but the blood of the Wang and Lei families gradually turned from silver to red, and they became indistinguishable from normal humans.

Over the years, only occasionally would one or two unique children appear.

Their foreheads would glow, a phenomenon that would subdue after a hundred days.

They were naturally proficient in divine arts and possessed inconceivable powers.

Ye Fan looked toward the stone village.

In the distance, the uneducated youth waved to him, saying, “Brother Ye, my mother said to invite you to eat at our home today.” “Alright, I’ll definitely come.” He agreed with a smile.

This is all too unbelievable, mysterious origins, not of the human race!

He immediately thought of primordial beings.

The Heavenly Source Master is truly audacious!

“The mysterious ancestor lamented in his later years that his biggest regret was not entering the Great Primordial Mine; his unfulfilled wish was not seeing the future of the purple mountain.” Ye Fan’s heart was shaken, unable to calm down.

If I became the Heavenly Source Master…

He thought of many things.

In his later years, would ominous events occur?

What kind of fate awaited him?

This was the last question on his mind.

However, he couldn’t worry about so much now.

He needed Source, needed strength, needed the power to traverse the starry sky.

It had been five years since he came to this world, and every time he thought about it, he felt that time was pressing.

The next day, Ye Fan left the stone village and sealed himself underground, fearing that his breakthrough would be too disruptive and hurt the people in the village.

This time his goal was not merely the perfect state of the Paramita realm and a complete rebirth, but also to break into the Dao Palace secret boundary.

He had been contemplating Jade Lake’s nine secret arts.

Though not complete, with only a few pages recorded in the Heavenly Source Book, it had inspired him endlessly.

“Dao Palace secret boundary, here I come!” For a whole half month, Ye Fan’s place of retreat was quiet, without a sound.

This continued until the sixteenth day, when dust obscured the sun and smoke soared to the sky.

This region was originally a barren, reddish-brown land, littered with stones and bereft of life, with only an occasional stubborn weed or two to be seen.

Yet now, it blossomed with life.

Green shoots emerged from the earth like flames of hope, spreading forth.

Ye Fan reached the Circle of Perfection in the Wheel and Sea.

His body was regenerating, the Paramita Nine Layers were shifting, and life energy spread, reviving the withered grass.

After two intakes of sacred fruit and one instance of refining his body with Great Emperor’s Holy Blood, he underwent a fourth rebirth.

Every gesture surged with divine energy.

He suddenly opened his eyes, gazing at the sky and looking down at the earth, entranced for a long time, silently savoring this completely new transformation.

Then, without further delay, he flew off, seeking another place to immerse himself underground again, preparing to break into the Dao Palace secret boundary.

The Ancient Insect Source, cradled in his palm, exuded enormous Qi that enveloped him.

The Wheel and Sea, palm-sized, was beneath his navel.

Above it was the Dao Palace.

Ye Fan contemplated the remnants of the Ancient Yaochi Scripture.

He became enlightened and realized it corresponded to the Five Elements, contained by his chest and ribs.

The five gods within the Dao Palace are greatly associated with them.

They can generate the power of the Dao and birth vitality, truly a place to sustain life.

The heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys are known as the five organs, also called the five gods.

They store enormous Qi without leaking and nurture life without perishing.

Together, they form a profoundly powerful secret boundary in the human body.

If one can maintain the divine principle, one does not die.

The five gods remain, bringing eternal spring.

They connect the five Qi, link heaven and earth, and inexhaustibly allow one to exist eternally in the world.

The Dao Palace is an indispensable secret boundary.

If one seeks immortality, one must exert oneself here.

Furthermore, if desiring advancement and understanding the Immortal Path, one also needs to evolve the Five Elements in this place.

The Ancient Insect Source in Ye Fan’s hand was completely refined.

A hazy mist and terrifying Divine Ability enveloped him, as if a copper cauldron had enclosed him.

Yes, at this moment, he forged a heavenly Fire Furnace using vigorous enormous Qi, treating himself as an immortal pill, refining himself thoroughly.

He saw no Paramita, no flowers blooming.

Clouds rose and fell as the Divine Palace surfaced.

Ye Fan clearly saw a door to heavenly watchtowers above the Wheel and Sea.

By rushing inside, he would enter another secret boundary.

“Raise my divine sail, break through the sea, and ascend to the First Layer Heaven!” The long, lingering sound resounded in the Wheel and Sea.

He rose with the wind; the Seas of Bitterness surged to the sky, propelling him into the clouds.

The Divine Bridge spanned the sky, extending beneath his feet and sending him towards the heavenly watchtowers ahead.

From a distance, he could already see that inside was a new world.

Below, the Seas of Bitterness arose.

Overhead, the heavenly watchtowers opened.

The longed-for door to its Dao was in sight.

Ye Fan strode forward, getting ever closer.

He had long accumulated enough to break into the Dao Palace; this was not a dream or illusion.

BOOM!

Within the gate of the heavenly watchtowers, came the breath of divinity, and he felt the power of the Dao, reaching directly in front of him.

Only one step remained, and he would enter the door to its Dao.

Ye Fan paused and looked back.

The Seas of Bitterness surged and clouds arose, yet he saw not only the Wheel and Sea but also scenes of past events.

The path he had crossed was not merely a secret boundary but also a span of time.

Tides rose and fell, glory scattered.

He suddenly turned his head back and took a step forward.

In the next moment, the heavens were vast and the earth wide; he entered a new world, vibrant life brimming throughout the space.

At the same time, within Ye Fan, thunderous sounds roared; five energy flows ascended to the sky, five dragon-like divine smokes soared upwards.

“Who is this?

Five divine energies piercing the sky, breaking through; is this…

real?” A hundred miles away, someone saw this mystical sight, their expression filled with disbelief.

“This truly is hard to believe.

Such Dao symbols are rare in the world; even the various Peacock Kings, in their prime and youthful vigor, probably didn’t witness such a phenomenon during their breakthroughs.” “Could it be the divine body of the Jiang Family?

No, he couldn’t be here, and he has already been through this Realm.

What kind of constitution is this?

Who is breaking through?” Cultivators a hundred miles away saw the five energies soaring and quickly rushed towards this location, eager to see the person responsible.

However, the distance was too far, and they couldn’t make it in time, as the five dragon-like energy columns vanished in an instant.

Ye Fan ascended into the Dao Palace secret boundary.

The choice now lay before him— which god should he cultivate first?

The heart constantly moves, blood traverses all channels, divine energy should be directed everywhere.

I should choose the Heart’s Divine Treasure first.

After brief contemplation, he made his decision.

The Dao Palace world was hazy and filled with mist everywhere, waiting for him to explore and develop.

He could only rely on instinct to find that divine treasure.

“The heart rules the body; it is the foundation of all things, the master of the five organs and six bowels.” One might say this divine treasure was the foundation of everything.

Ye Fan walked straight ahead, following his instinct, and quickly broke through the mist, arriving closer.

The heart’s god appeared as an unopened lotus flower, yet to take human form, indicating that it was still in transformation.

To be everlasting, to hope for eternal existence, one must start from here.

Enormous Qi constitutes the foundation of the body.

Entering the Dao Palace secret boundary demands transforming essence into the divine, enabling the god to be born.

The life that comes is called essence; the striving of two essences is called divine…

Ye Fan silently recited the ancient scripture’s nine secret arts.

He understood everything readily, for he had encountered some of these words in ancient characters on the other side of the starry sky.

Thus, his cultivation of the Dao Palace secret boundary proceeded smoothly.

Innate Essence transforms and gives birth; Acquired Essence nourishes and sustains.

Innate Essence accompanies the body’s birth, the beginning of an individual’s world; when the form is complete, the spirit is born; when the form perishes, the spirit vanishes.

Acquired Essence, on the other hand, requires refining to obtain, nourishing the spirit and sustaining life.

As he drew closer, Ye Fan felt an overwhelming heat; in the Heart’s Divine Treasure, Yang Qi was at its pinnacle.

Truly, humans and Heaven and Earth are united.

Heaven has its sun, and humans also have their sun.

The yang of the sovereign and father is the sun…

The human body corresponds with Heaven and Earth.

The Heart’s Divine Treasure is the body’s sun and a fundamental of all life force.

It is crucial among the five great Realms of the Dao Palace.

This divine treasure is the sun among gods, utilizing Yang Qi, driving the life energy cycle, maintaining the body’s immortality, and ensuring vitality endures.

At this moment, Ye Fan noticed that the Fiery Red Source in his hand was exceptionally active.

It transformed into fiery enormous Qi and immediately rushed into his body, directly nourishing the god shaped like an unopened lotus flower.

Ye Fan realized, The heart is the fire organ, illuminating all things.

He then said, “The body’s sun cannot be without yang.

It nurtures all things and is the root of the body’s lasting existence.” BOOM!

That divine treasure in the shape of a lotus flower dispelled the mist.

Ye Fan felt joyous all over, every pore relaxed, and a strange power of the Dao flowed out, permeating every inch of his flesh and blood.

He had just arrived in the Dao Palace secret boundary.

Innate Essence had transformed.

The Heart’s Divine Treasure shone like the sun at high noon.

It was as if it were the beginning of the world, all things newly born, and the body’s sun had appeared.

The Dao Palace secret boundary was opened henceforth, and he would proceed step by step, opening up a new world.

The Wheel and Sea creates Yin Yang, the Five Great Divine Treasures form the Five Elements…

Yes, the Wheel and Sea engenders Yin Yang.

He felt he had captured a hint of the secret of ancient sovereigns who cultivated Single Secret Boundaries.

Ye Fan stood up and stepped forward, emerging upon boundless lands.

Ascending to the Dao Palace, evolving the beginning of the body’s world, his Realm had leaped forward by a substantial measure.

At this moment, he achieved Heaven and Earth Unity, feeling the natural Dao law.

With his large sleeves fluttering, as if a Daoist saint, each step carried Dao charm and emanated patterns, like an exiled Immortal descending to the mortal world.
