Chapter 606: Omnity

The metal beneath Vega’s feet groaned and twisted under the pressure of her power. Then, with a thunderous boom, she launched forward, her figure a blur tearing through the sky as she streaked toward the desert below.

Mid-flight, her eyes locked onto the airborne demons and other races affiliated with the Forsaken Cult. She didn’t hesitate.

A white bow materialized in her hand, and without ceremony, her right palm bloomed with aura, rapidly condensing into arrows. She nocked one onto the bowstring, pulled back with practiced grace, and released.

The arrow surged forward in a burst of speed, then, midair, it split into a multitude of identical bolts, raining down upon the enemy ranks.

Some foes twisted away just in time. Others parried with their weapons. But the arrows, behaving like sentient projectiles, shifted course mid-flight, homing in on their targets. Upon impact, they erupted in fierce, rocketing explosions.

Vega didn’t pause for even a heartbeat. Her hand moved with unrelenting precision, loosing arrow after arrow infused with a deep purple aura. Each one found its mark without fail, defenses crumbled as her archery tore through them with merciless accuracy.

Her heightened senses flared, an elf approached from behind, dagger in hand. But Vega moved effortlessly, twisting through the air as if gravity held no claim over her.

Before her attacker could react, she turned her bow with fluid grace, sweeping the taut string across the elf’s exposed throat. A sickening rip of flesh echoed through the sky, followed by a spray of crimson that painted the air.

Vega didn’t spare the falling corpse a single glance as it plummeted through the sky. With the air now cleared around her, her purple eyes snapped downward, locking onto a soldier below, moments away from being overwhelmed.

Without a shred of hesitation, she launched herself forward like a sniper’s bullet, her bow seamlessly shifting into a spear mid-flight. Her arm pulled back, muscles coiling with controlled fury, then she hurled the weapon with devastating force.

The very air howled in protest as the spear tore through the sky. A thunderous explosion followed as it slammed into the sand below, detonating upon impact. The blast ignited a violent sandstorm, hurling enemies away from the soldier in a sweeping wave of chaos and grit.

The soldier hastily uncorked a healing potion and downed it in one gulp, the liquid sealing wounds as it coursed through his body. Without wasting a breath, he surged into the sky, desperate to put distance between himself and the chaos below.

As the dust storm receded, it unveiled a spear embedded deep in the ground. But before the demons could even comprehend what they were seeing, Vega’s flawless form descended from the skies, landing squarely atop the spear’s butt with cataclysmic force. A series of shockwaves erupted outward in concentric rings, the blast mangling demonic bodies in its radius.

Through the swirling haze, her silhouette emerged, poised and unshaken. She stood atop the narrow spearhead as if it were solid ground, an otherworldly presence descending upon the battlefield, as though a goddess had stepped into the realm of mortals.

In one seamless motion, she stepped down, her foot nudging the spear upward. It flipped into the air, landing with practiced precision in her waiting hand. The moment her feet touched the sand, she erupted forward like a runaway locomotive, her spear a blur of destruction, tearing through flesh, armor, and shadow without resistance.

She didn’t care about gender.

She didn’t care about race.

She didn’t care about age.

Every living being that breathed chaos energy met the unforgiving tip of her spear.

From all sides, elemental fury raged toward her, flames, lightning, and wind intertwining in a maelstrom of destruction. Yet Vega’s movement didn’t falter, not even for a heartbeat.

She simply raised a hand.

The sand beneath her feet responded to her call, resonating with the absolute command of her talent; Omnity.

With a thunderous roar, massive walls of sand erupted upward, coiling and hardening like living fortresses. Elemental attacks slammed into them with immense force, threatening to pierce through, but the sand only condensed further, growing denser, stronger.

Then — silence.

Within the stillness, Vega’s purple eyes glowed. With a single snap of her fingers, the walls around her shifted. Spikes burst outward in a deadly bloom, razor-sharp and merciless.

Agonized screams tore through the battlefield as every Forsaken Cult member within her line of sight was impaled, their lives extinguished without hesitation... without remorse.

Omnity; Vega’s Talent, bestowed upon her absolute dominion over every known element in existence. She required no training, no theoretical mastery or practical application. As long as her mana surged within her core, there were no incantations, no spell, no rituals, only intent.

Her will shaped reality.

Her imagination and mana were her only boundaries.

And mana was something Vega had never lacked, not since the moment she awakened.

Vega’s thoughts churned, sharpened by purpose. She raised her spear and, without hesitation, plunged it into the sand beneath her. A deadly pulse of mana rippled outward from her core, thick with intent.

The ground answered.

A massive tsunami of sand exploded upward with a deafening roar, then surged outward like a living beast, swallowing everything in its path, every Forsaken Cult member consumed in an instant by her elemental wrath. But amidst the chaos, allied soldiers stood dangerously close, directly in the line of destruction.

Collateral damage loomed.

But Omnity, Vega’s Talent, rendered such concerns obsolete. She needed no incantations, no runes, no gestures. Only thought. Only will. And the world would obey.

Her mind stirred once more, and space itself responded.

The soldiers caught in the tsunami’s path did not resist nor scream. Their bodies simply phased through the cascading sand, untouched, unharmed, as if reality itself had chosen to spare them, bending at her silent command.

But Vega wasn’t done.

No, she was far from it.

With a single motion, she raised her hand, and every demon, dragon, elf, and twisted creature stained by chaos energy, still buried beneath the sand tsunami, met their end. The ground clenched shut with terrifying force, the sand solidifying instantly, crushing them beneath its weight like insects beneath stone.

Then, without warning, Vega shifted. She sidestepped with effortless grace, her movement so fluid it bordered on mockery. An arrow whistled through the air, slicing cleanly through the space where her head had just been.

She didn’t even glance toward the shooter.

There was no need.

She simply snapped her fingers.

In an instant, space twisted, reality inverted, and the arrow and its archer switched places.

The zombie archer’s eyes widened in disbelief, registering its new position in midair. But before it could comprehend its fate, a spear entered its vision, then obliterated it. Its head burst apart in a spray of gore, severed from its body in a single, merciless strike.
