MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 98: Confession

As Donna accepted the offer with a smile, a receptionist appeared with a smile.

But that smile froze the next second as she recognised all of them...aside Clement.

They were all already famous after their videos surfaced online, she was even following some of them online.

But she returned to her professional side immediately, as not to inconvenience them.

”Good afternoon sirs, Iʼm the manager for this building, itʼs nice meeting you all”

She bowed slightly while lifting her dress gently as if she was addressing kings and queens.

”Is this your best set of clothes and jewellery”

Donna asked with a smile.

”No Maʼam, there is a higher floor than this that holds more expensive and beauty clothes and items of various degree”

The manager replied professionally.

”Lead us there”

Vivianʼs voice sounded.

Then they all followed the manager as they ascended the staircase.

But as they got to the door that leads to the next floor, they were stopped and asked to make payments in order to enter.

They were being charged three low mana crystals each just to enter the next floor, if such a thing happened outside the floating island, people would protest.

Truly, even if you donʼt plan to spend here, you must spend.

But this policy was put in place as some people donʼt plan on spending or buying anything, they jusy browse around, take pictures and waste the storeʼs time and effort then leave.

So the ground floor was free, but the subsequent floor demanded payment.

Everyone paid and stepped in without speaking at all or change in expression.

As the guard allowed them to step in, they were opened to another world.

It just seemed whatever luxury they witnessed, there was always a higher luxury somewhere.

They had both male and female clothings, so everyone started looking around.

They got glances from other people, due to their faces and aura.

The girls went on a spree, whatever they set their gem like eyes on, they picked it without asking the specifics.

Even the clothes glitter a little without any reflection of light on them.

Anthony and the boys also picked some clothes, shoes and wrist watches.

The boys picked within their spending limits as the prices were always tagged on whatever you were buying.

But Anthony just picked the most expensive ones without batting an eye.

The others looked at him wondering how rich he was as they didnʼt see him meet any family members to get mana crystals.

They spent about an hour going through the entire clothing store.

After they were done, they walked up to the manager in other to make payments.

As Anthony was about to pay for his selection since he was the first at the counter.

Someone....a handsome young man stopped him with a smile and said.

”Why donʼt I pay for that handsome”

Immediately the words left the young manʼs mouth the entire world seemed to stop for Anthony and his group.

Vivian and the rest were speechless.

”My name is Callum Karl Haemer, Iʼve been watching you for a while since you stepped in, the way you carry yourself, your footstep, the way you speak, your face, your voice”

”They all seem to resonate with my soul, so allow me to pay for this and I hope to speak with you further after this”

No one dared to laugh right now, someone was hitting on Anthony right infront of them, and that someone was a man.

In this world, there was nothing against the gays and lesbians, nobody had time for that, or criticise anyone for that.

Everyone was focused on their cultivation journey, anyone having anything against them was either just too jobless or stood at the bottom of the cultivation journey with no hope of improving.

”HAHAHAHA to think your first romance and date would be with another man, your life is truly a funny story”

Romulus who has always been sitting on Anthonyʼs head started laughing at him with no sign of stopping and no sign of this usual regal demeanor.

Anthonyʼs mind was blank, he had fantasied a lot about women asking him out, but here a man declared he was resonating with his soul

ʼFuckkkk I need to meet the stupid author writing my story nowʼ

Anthony screamed in his mind, but still kept an expressionless face.

He had nothing against the LGBTQ community, but the fact that the first person to approach him with a confession was a man stabbed him in the heart, he felt betrayed by ???.

The young man while still smiling waited for Anthonyʼs response, even the others waited to know what he would say.

If it was another random person the young man fancied, he would have used force and not really waited for a reply.

But he could feel it earlier like he said, the way Anthony walked and everything was grace itself, there was no way someone who carried himself like that would be at the F rank, so he didnʼt fall for the aura Anthony released.

He wasnʼt a stupid and arrogant young master, even the way the rest that came with Anthony walked and talked, he could tell they were not ordinary people.

Ordinary people canʼt give birth to such a face and physique and grace.

Anthony looked at everyone and saw them waiting for his reply.

He looked at Vivian and the rest of the girls for a second.

Then he turned the young man and smiled while saying in acceptance.

”The name is Anthony, thank you for your offer, I happily accept”

The rest of the crew were too stunned to say anything.

They all had one thought in their minds

ʼHe swings this way?ʼ

The young man smiled as Anthony accepted him and walked up to pay for Anthony.

”How much?” he asked with confidence.

The manager looked at him like an idiot, the manager knew Anthony was from the Null family and their heir, but it seemed the young man didnʼt seem to know this.

So she just calmly replied with a smile.

”Five top mana crystals”

Everyoneʼs mind immediately went blank when they heard the price.

They sucked in cold air at such price.

A hundred low mana crystals equal one high mana crystals.

Then a thousand high mana crystals, equals a top mana crystals.

Anthony had just casually spent five thousand high mana crystals like it was nothing.

Even top tier families dared not give their children such amounts of funds, because it was utterly ridiculous.

The young man was stunned, he didnʼt know what to say.

He comes from a rich family, thatʼs why he had the confidence to offer to pay, but it seems his pockets wasnʼt deep enough.

Everyone looked at him expecting him to pay or say something.

Anthony looked amused as he too waited for the young manʼs reply.

But as the young man didnʼt say anything even after ten seconds, Anthony said with a smile.

”It seems we are not fated to be together Callum, maybe in our next life”

Callum just coughed awkwardly and agreed then left the store immediately without waiting.

As Callum left, Anthony face darkened and the rest started laughing at Anthony without mercy.

It was just too funny to them, Anthony looked at their laughing faces and snorted.

He casually tossed out five top mana crystals like they were mere stones and left to sit down and calm his anger.

The storm brothers and Bryan couldnʼt laugh for long as the girls literally emptied their pockets.

Vivianʼs clothes had cost Bringer seven high mana crystals.

Evelynʼs clothes cost Bryan eight high mana crystals.

Donnaʼs clothes cost Rider eight high mana crystals.

The Storm brothers and Bryan didnʼt even have money to pay for their own clothes.

Even the money their families gave them wasnʼt enough, and itʼs only the first day on the floating island.

They begged Anthony for money to pay but Anthony didnʼt even give them a glance.

They laughed at him earlier, so they had to pay for consequences.

And just like that the three of them went broke in just hours after they stepped into the floating island.

They didnʼt dare to call their families for more money after just receiving funds a while ago.

Everyone then left the store with happiness on their faces.....well not everyone.

Anthonyʼs face was still dark as he fell into his overthinking session after meeting Callum.

The Storm brothers and Bryan had dejected looks on their faces.

The children of top tier families that rule world being broke was a funny sight to behold.
