Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 878 Promotional Fluff

With his mother complex... he was no longer bothered by Deewa blocking him, because heʼd started figuring out how to make his dreams a reality.

”Hello, Manager Chen!”

Following Iron Oxʼs instructions, the young influencer pressed him about the matter during pillow talk—while also blowing him under the covers. The contempt in her eyes was fleeting and well-hidden.

David made the call, then his eyes widened. ”What? Four days? Are you kidding me? I thought the sales office was officially opening on Tuesday!”

”Thatʼs correct. But Mr. Zhang has given orders. No one is allowed on site for the first two days. His friends have booked it for an exclusive shoot.”

”Seriously? What the hell!”

After confirming the details, theyʼd be able to shoot in four days.

David didnʼt think much of it and passed on the news. But this wasnʼt something Mira could accept—not even Iron Ox.

The reason was simple: in the influencer industry, youʼre riding the wave of the times. A special theme or catching the right trend can make you blow up overnight.

But trends are fickle. Unless you deliberately create one—which costs a fortune with no guaranteed return—no one in their right mind tries to force it.

At Vivid Mediaʼs office, Iron Ox was anxious when he got the call. ”Young Master David, youʼre joking, right? Another four days? Didnʼt you say the opening was tomorrow?”

Tiger Real Estate had been running nonstop local TV and mall ads for the past few days.

The only villa district in the old city had generated a lot of buzz. Theyʼd sent people out to hand out flyers everywhere—everyone knew about it.

Villas in new developments are usually in the suburbs. But City Gardenʼs Phase 1 and 2 combined already made it the largest community in the old city.

Adding a villa district now had everyone amazed—Tiger Real Estate was still the same powerhouse. It was also building hype for their upcoming IPO.

Behind City Garden was Zhongshan Park. Nearby were the prestigious Xiongzi Primary School and Bathek City No. 1 Primary School.

Across the street was the bustling Wanda Plaza. To the right were a bank and a wet market—the most complete and convenient living amenities.

Phase 1 was a bit noisy since it was a redevelopment area, but that didnʼt affect the tranquility of Phase 2 and the villa district.

Both Iron Ox and Deewa had chosen this location because of Tiger Real Estateʼs massive promotional push.

”Young Master David, four days is way too long!!”

Iron Ox pleaded. ”Can you talk to them? We could shoot at the same time without interfering with each other.”

”Iʼll ask.”

David hung up. On the other end, a muffled ”oh” suggested heʼd just been blown.

Miraʼs face was ice-cold. She gritted her teeth. ”That little pervert. Rabbit slept with him last night, and after getting what he wanted, he still says we have to wait four days.”

”Bastard. Yesterday he was all promises, turns out heʼs just a spoiled brat with no real pull at home.”

Iron Ox was seething too.

The most basic rule in this industry is understanding that the internet has no memory.

Trends come and go unpredictably. Most are fleeting—like beachcombing, cooking tutorials, or outdoor barbecues.

Memes like ”Subject Three” or ”Youʼre So Beautiful” lasting that long are the rare exceptions.

Though there are many niches, other trends can blow up overnight with no warning, and you never know how long theyʼll last.

But as an industry professional, the key is to follow the trend. Itʼs like swimming upstream—fall behind and youʼre left in the dust. Follow and you have a chance to blow up.

Mira gritted her teeth. ”That little bastard. But who booked it? Could it be Blossom Media?”

At that, Iron Oxʼs expression darkened. ”Could be. Thereʼs no other real competition in the city right now.”

”Damn it. Weʼll go check it out tomorrow and see for ourselves.”

Iron Ox was so furious he slammed the table. Who could afford to wait four days? Who knows how long this trend will last?

It takes a full day of shooting and an all-nighter to edit enough videos, especially with so many small influencers waiting for their turn to appear.

If your videos come out after the trend has passed, youʼd be crying tears of blood.

”Hey, I asked. They said no—too many people. Nothing I can do.”

After David hung up, Iron Ox erupted in curses. Mira grabbed her bag and stood up. ”Mr. Wang, nowʼs not the time to be angry.”

He calmed down and reluctantly called another smaller real estate company.

Four days was absolutely too long to wait. Heʼd have to settle for an ordinary residential project to shoot. It was frustrating to miss out on Tiger Real Estateʼs buzz.

On the other side, the mood was completely celebratory.

At the Taiga familyʼs private restaurant, Dominic Jr. was pouring drinks with such enthusiasm that his guests felt almost overwhelmed.

Luis had brought Deewa and Nancy along, with three cameramen in tow.

At the dining table, the restaurant manager and cameramen were busy filming each dish. Dominic Jr. raised his glass with a smile and said, ”Then weʼll be counting on your company to help promote our private kitchen.”

”Not at all. The Taiga familyʼs private kitchen is already famous—reservations need to be made at least a week in advance. Weʼre hardly in a position to promote it.”

Deewa raised her glass with a smile and said, ”We should be thanking you, Mr. Zhang, for giving us the opportunity to broaden our horizons.”

Compared to her social grace, the aloof Nancy was less articulate, but she gave a soft, charming smile and clinked her glass as well.

Since they were local influencers, their content naturally included restaurant reviews of all kinds.

They didnʼt do the kind of promotional fluff that only praises; they provided objective reviews to attract viewers.

The Taiga familyʼs private kitchen wasnʼt widely known to the public, but its luxurious decor and the chefʼs skill would definitely catch peopleʼs attention.
