Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 718 See You Tomorrow..

”Family member of the patient, is this your wife?”

The nurse came by during her rounds and asked a question right away.

Serenaʼs face instantly flushed bright red. She had just been about to explain, but then Luis asked directly, ”Nurse sister, is there any particular situation going on?”

”Nothing out of the ordinary, everything is perfectly normal. The surgery will be scheduled within these two days.”

”These are the medications she needs to take...”

Luis was especially meticulous and attentive, arranging everything in perfect and precise order. Even the head nurse couldnʼt help but praise him, saying, ”You are truly so blessed. Itʼs very rare to see a husband who is this thoughtful and careful.”

Serenaʼs face turned an even deeper shade of red, and she had no idea how to explain the misunderstanding at all.

”Time to take the medicine!”

Luis sat at the bedside and gently asked, ”Do you need me to help you sit up?”

”I, I can manage, I can do it by myself...”

Serena struggled hard, trying to sit up on her own, but as soon as she moved, a sharp jolt of pain made her stagger and nearly collapse.

With quick eyes and swift hands, Luis immediately caught her around the waist. Her waist was even more slender and tender than he had imagined, which made the fullness of her breasts appear even more lush and voluptuous in contrast.

This close proximity, feeling the lush warmth of her body through the fabric of her clothes, he could faintly glimpse the deep, alluring cleavage and the trembling softness of her breasts.

She truly was wearing absolutely nothing underneath...

The atmosphere was so intensely charged with ambiguous intimacy. Serena didnʼt dare to look directly at Luis at all. She shyly lowered her head and said in a trembling voice, ”Thank you, um, Iʼm fine now.”

Luis immediately released his hold on her, and with unrestrained appreciation, he admired her chest that was rising and falling dramatically due to her quick, rapid breathing.

He handed the medicine and the water to her. After she had finished taking the medicine, this time he didnʼt even ask but directly supported her back and gently helped her lie down.

Over on Eloiseʼs side, a phone call came in, saying that a village woman could be introduced to come over and help out, and her price would be much cheaper.

She had done all sorts of odd jobs and miscellaneous work before, so she truly did have connections and resources in this area.

”Aunt, please donʼt add to the chaos. Whether or not someone like that could even find the way around here is hard to say.”

”Things like going to the pharmacy, going to get blood tests, lab work and such, as well as picking up medications and so on... one genuinely needs to be thoroughly familiar with the routes and layout for all of that.”

”There is absolutely no need to save money on this kind of thing...”

”Just set your mind at ease. The person I am finding here is also someone whose background and credentials I know very well and thoroughly.”

Luis spoke in a very assertive and domineering way, brimming with confidence and backed by sound reasoning. For any woman whatsoever.

This was the kind of commanding, take-charge masculinity that could truly sweep a woman off her feet and utterly captivate her soul, protecting you and tenderly caring for you, rather than ordering you around and treating you like a mere servant girl.

Over on the other end of the phone, Eloise simply responded with a single line, ”Alright, I will do everything exactly as you say.”

She was exceedingly obedient and well-behaved, radiating a sense of absolute and utter submissiveness.

After hanging up the phone, it was clearly obvious that Serenaʼs complexion was blushing and flushed, and the look in her eyes was growing increasingly tender and affectionate.

Very soon, the doctor came by for ward rounds. Luis was right there beside them, communicating and discussing everything. There was absolutely nothing at all that required her to worry or be concerned about.

Suddenly, Serena fell into a brief dazed and spellbound trance... She thought to herself, even those genuine, true married couples couldnʼt possibly be this thoughtful and meticulously caring, attending to absolutely every tiny detail, could they.

Especially in the countryside area... terrible specimens like her brother Logan were all too common. Just what kind of blessed fortune must one have to actually encounter a man like him.

”Hello!”

As a heavily connected and well backed individual, the nursing aunt who arrived was thoroughly familiar with every corner and pathway here, the especially senior and highly experienced type.

The moment she arrived, she briskly and efficiently began tidying up and organizing things, and laughed cheerfully as she said, ”Big sister, if thereʼs anything at all you need, just feel completely free to call on me and it will be done.”

”Heʼs truly so meticulous and thoughtful, to have even prepared a list like this.”

The dietary restrictions and prohibitions for the injured patient were all clearly written out on a piece of paper. The nursing sister exclaimed in admiration, ”When the doctor was giving out the instructions, so many people simply didnʼt bother to note anything down. The man of your household is truly thoughtful and careful enough.”

By this point, Serena had already grown too weary to bother explaining anything anymore. Blushing, she said, ”I need to use the washroom!!”

The nursing sister immediately went over to support and assist her. Luis behaved with perfect gentlemanly propriety and didnʼt crowd over intrusively. He smiled gently and said, ”Iʼll go out first and buy some food for you both.”

”The hospital cafeteria is currently being renovated and rebuilt. It isnʼt open for business yet...”

The nursing sister said with earnest enthusiasm, ”I know exactly which shop has delicious food. How about you sit here for a while, and then Iʼll go downstairs and buy everything.”

”That works out just fine as well!”

It was at this moment that Luis suddenly recalled the matter concerning Kai. Chloe had been constantly urging and pressing him to go and take over the contract to operate the cafeteria here at this hospital.

She had originally wanted to give this advantageous benefit to her own relatives, but having just risen to her new position, she felt it was improper and awkward to act so blatantly and openly about it. Deep in her heart, she still felt that Luis was absolutely the most suitable and fitting person.

By the time the nursing aunt had finished buying the meals, Luis then looked at the time and said, ”Iʼll take my leave and head back first then. If anything comes up, just give me a phone call.”

22:50

After they had added each otherʼs contact information, right before he departed, Luis also left behind one hundred dollars with the nursing aunt.

Serena said with some embarrassment, ”I have money right here with me...”

Before Luis even had a chance to open his mouth and speak, the nursing aunt had already cheerfully and briskly accepted the money. She said in a scolding, affectionate tone, ”Why do you family members act like such distant strangers with each other. Set your mind at ease. I will write down a record for every cent that gets spent, and whatever money is left over I will return back to you all.”

”See you tomorrow!”

Luis waved his hand in a carefree, dashing manner and departed.

His sister-in-law had recently been appearing and disappearing in a mysterious and unpredictable fashion. His other sister-in-law had already gone back to the school. And his mother-in-law was, at this time of day, most certainly at the teahouse.

He gave his wife, Lily, a phone call. She and Yana had gone out together to get their hair washed. So on this weekend evening, he was truly a man all alone with no one to accompany him.

He casually grabbed a quick bite to eat to tide him over. Then, lying down to rest, he opened up the Systemʼs interface panel.

The entire screen, which had been brimming with lines of code, seemed to freeze and come to a halt in an instant. A black hole was ceaselessly sucking in and swallowing up line after line of the code.

Bold, thickly enlarged text prominently displayed: System Upgrading In Progress (Estimated Time: One Month.).

Looking again at the Inventory, the colors had all turned to a grayed out state: Random Blind Box (3), Momotaro Rice Ball, Aphrodisiac Incense (Male).

The items inside the Inventory were still there, but they had become grayed out and now carried a lock icon symbol, proving that before the System upgrade was completed, the items within the Inventory could also not be used.

As for the Mission Interface, it could simply no longer be opened up at all.

Luis stretched out his body into a long, lazy stretch, and thought to himself that a monthʼs time would be needed. He was truly full of anticipation, wondering exactly what it would be like after the upgrade was completed.

A whole monthʼs time. After having been out there running wild and loose continually just for the sake of those missions, thinking about it now, he felt that he should also properly spend some good time and lovingly accompany his wife.

”Hubby...”

The voice of his wife, Lily, was still incomparably beautiful and enchanting as ever.

”Wifey, you still arenʼt coming back home yet!!”

”In just a little while. You little rascal, are you missing me already!!”

”Yeah...”
