If he did not want to expose himself, Yu Zi Yu knew that Tier-2 was the limit for anything passing through the rift he had torn in this world.

As for Tier-3 and beyond, the risk was too great. Unless absolutely necessary, Yu Zi Yu had no intention of risking being detected by this world’s powerful experts.

Given his current strength, he could certainly protect himself, but there was no guarantee what strange and eerie methods the Transcendents of this world might have mastered.

Moreover, Yu Zi Yu was well aware of his own vulnerabilities. Even though the world’s strongest might not be able to defeat him directly, if they joined forces to either expel or seal him, it was still possible.

Expulsion was not as concerning, since Yu Zi Yu could simply take some time and start again from scratch. However, sealing… just the thought of it made Yu Zi Yu grimace.

What he feared most right now were such bizarre techniques. If they managed to seal him away for decades or even centuries, all the advantages he had accumulated during the early stages of the resurgence of Spiritual Energy would likely be lost.

[So, the first course of action is to confirm if there are any strong experts in this world proficient in sealing. If there are, I should eliminate them first.] As this thought passed through his mind, Yu Zi Yu became more resolute.

Beings proficient in sealing were the most dangerous.

Take Nine Tails for example. Even though she could not defeat Yu Zi Yu, she could sacrifice her life and use her little bit of Sealing Quintessence to seal him away for decades.

Moreover, if the Nine Tails had the support of another powerful entity, they could potentially seal him for even longer.

This was a fact Yu Zi Yu had confirmed after careful consideration regarding Nine Tails’ abilities.

Hence, Yu Zi Yu was always on guard against the possibility of being sealed.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu paid little to no attention to these matters, which might or might not transpire in the far future.

For now, he decided to focus on the more pressing concerns.

*Huu…* Taking a deep breath to calm his thoughts, Yu Zi Yu turned his gaze to a girl standing not far away with blood-red amber eyes.

She had a tall, graceful figure. Even the animal hide she wore could not conceal her alluring curves. Just her figure was enough to captivate anyone’s mind.

And if one were to raise their eyes, and look at her face, their heart would skip a beat. She possessed a near-perfect face, as white and pure as snow, with flawless skin. Her pair of pointed ears, though different from ordinary people, somehow drew one’s gaze with their unique charm.

An Elf, and not just any Elf, but a Blood Elf, one of the High Elves. Who were known as the ‘nobility among Elves.’

They were naturally elegant and extraordinary. Even just standing there, she exuded the aura akin to a princess of kingdom, yet she was merely an ordinary girl among the Blood Elves.

This was the Creator’s blessing, which made them the most beautiful and elegant race—the Elves.

Of course, the Elves were not only known for their beauty. Each of them was considered extraordinarily gifted. Their talent for cultivating Spiritual Energy far surpassed that of Humans, and they could also command numerous Elemental Forces.

Furthermore, some Elves were gifted archers. Their remarkable archery skills ranked among the best across the myriad of races in the universe.

The Blood Elf before Yu Zi Yu too carried a red wooden bow on her back. By the looks of it, she was a skilled archer.

However, as she felt Yu Zi Yu’s gaze, the Blood Elf bit her lip and met his eyes with defiance and resentment.

“You monster…” Gnashing her teeth so hard that it seemed they might break, Latia had already aimed the red bow on her back at Yu Zi Yu.

In the next moment, she swiftly drew the bow to its full extent, the taut bowstring humming softly as it sent ripples through the air.

Moments later, under Yu Zi Yu’s amused gaze, a streak of light zoomed towards him.

“Master…” An anxious cry suddenly echoed. Bernice, who had been faithfully standing guard by Yu Zi Yu’s side, suddenly paled and sprang forward like a swift leopard.

However, before Bernice could reach him, Yu Zi Yu calmly raised his fingers.

“Interesting…” His faint voice carried a mix of curiosity and admiration as he gazed at his fingertips.

There, between his two fingers, a strand of Spiritual Energy wriggled desperately, like a slippery snake trying to escape.

This was the arrow of Spiritual Energy shot by the Blood Elf. According to the Elves, it should be called a Magic Arrow.

Using Mana as the arrow and guided by their Spirit, the arrows they shot seemed almost alive. They not only had formidable power but could also automatically track their target.

“How… how is this possible!?” Latia’s face turned pale with disbelief as she stared at the Magic Arrow, now caught between Yu Zi Yu’s two fingers.

[He actually caught an Elf’s Magic Arrow with his bare hands—no, with just two fingers!? How is this possible!? Magic Arrows are incredibly sensitive. Even the slightest touch would cause them to instantly explode. But now, it is resting calmly between this Monster’s fingers!]

But before the Elf could process more of her shock, a teasing voice echoed in her ear, “Your archery is quite good. Would you be interested in becoming my Apostle…?”

However, Yu Zi Yu paused midway through his sentence, sighed, and shook his head.

“Forget it. Judging by the hatred in your eyes, I don’t think I can have your consent. Instead, your consciousness will sink into oblivion, just like your dear Sister, Bernice…”

As his words fell, Latia’s mind was suddenly struck by a violent tremor. In her eyes—now filled with horror and fear—a trace of blood-red light bloomed in the depths of her consciousness.

In the dim recesses of her mind, she caught a glimpse of a cold and merciless figure, slowly emerging from within her. It was like another version of herself—only colder and far more terrifying.

If her former self had been a vibrant, fiery flower, then this new figure was an ethereal orchid, a ghostly presence detached from worldly matters.

…

The night grew darker.

Yet, amidst the inky blackness, a wisp of white mist began to rise.

Within just a few breaths, the entire forest was engulfed in a thick layer of mist.

Within this white haze, two vague, feminine figures could be seen kneeling slowly on one knee, their heads bowed toward the depths of the fog.

“I, Bernice…”

“I, Latia…”

“Greet…the Divine Tree.”
