Polluted Zone Live: The Useless Guide Stole the Show!

The black mamba slowly slithered toward her. Its tail wrapped around her legs before eventually curling around her entire body, but it did not suffocate Summer.

To be honest, Summer felt like the snake was trying to hug her.

”If you don’t bite me when I get out of here, I promise I’ll give you candy,” Summer said softly.

The little black mamba stared at her with its golden eyes, still wrapped around her body as if it had no intention of letting her go.

A moment later, Summer felt herself being pulled out of his Spiritual Domain.

When she opened her eyes again, the dark forest was gone. However, the enormous black mamba she had been sitting on was also nowhere to be seen.

Instead, a tall man was standing right in front of her.

Summer froze as she realized that Archer Reed had returned to his human form.

His messy black hair fell over his forehead, while a pair of sharp golden eyes stared directly into hers.

Even in his human form, there was still something dangerous about him that reminded Summer of the giant snake from earlier.

She held her breath and swallowed hard as their eyes met, but before either of them could say anything, her terminal vibrated.

The number was tempting, but for some reason, Summer could barely focus on it because her attention kept moving back to Archer.

Heat slowly spread through her body, growing stronger the longer she stood near him. Even her breathing felt warmer than usual.

It was actually quite odd.

Summer had never experienced anything like this back in her old world.

Maybe it was because almost seventy percent of her old body had been replaced with machines, or maybe the scientists in the lab had experimented on her so many times that her body had eventually stopped reacting normally to things like desire.

But this body was different. It was not made of metal, and it certainly had never been used as a lab rat by a group of crazy scientists.

[Warning: The higher the Sentinel beastkin’s rank, the stronger the effect of their pheromones.]

Sentinels and Guides were not ordinary humans. They were beastkins, and guiding did not only connect their mental powers. It could also bring out the beast instincts hidden inside their bodies.

However, the instinct appearing right now was not the violent urge to attack or kill.

It was the instinct to mate.

”You...” Archer finally opened his mouth. His deep voice was slightly hoarse, and when Summer looked up, she noticed that his golden eyes had never left her. ”You... saved me.”

Summer swallowed hard as the heat inside her body suddenly became even harder to ignore.

Before she could properly think about what she was doing, Summer had already leaned forward and pressed her lips against his.

Archer, on the other hand, held his breath before kissing her even deeper.

Normally, most viewers would leave the moment a livestream entered privacy mode. After all, there was no point in staring at a black screen while listening to the same song over and over again.

But for some reason, these people refused to leave. In fact, the number of viewers barely dropped.

With nothing else to watch, they started chatting with to each others. Others began sharing their relationship problems and asking for advice. A few even started trauma dumping as if Summer’s comment section had suddenly become their private server.

As if their prayers had been answered, the privacy protection was suddenly lifted.

The moment the screen returned to normal, Archer and Summer were both fully dressed, although their clothes were a little messy.

Summer had one hand pressed against her waist. Her entire body felt sore, and her legs were still trembling slightly after their long and very intense hidden workout.

She had never experienced anything like that before.

It had been tiring, and her body felt like it had been through another battle, but Summer could not deny that she had enjoyed it a lot.

For a few seconds, neither of them said anything. Summer avoided looking at Archer, while Archer suddenly seemed very interested in looking anywhere except at her.

The silence between them became more awkward with every second.

But eventually, Archer cleared his throat and asked, ”Can you walk?”

Summer slowly turned her head toward him. ”I think so.”

She was not actually that sure either, but now that the livestream was back on, she did not want to admit it.

”Take this,” Archer said as he handed her a small vial filled with green liquid. ”It can speed up your regeneration ability.”

Summer looked at the small vial for a moment before pulling out the stopper and drinking the green liquid as quickly as possible.

Almost immediately, warmth spread through her body. The pain in her waist slowly faded, and even her trembling legs began to feel stronger.

Before Summer could say anything, the comment section suddenly became lively again.
