Inheriting A Divine Cultivation Clan At The Start, All My Juniors Are Empresses

”Good!”

Bu Tingyue let out a long breath of relief, then walked ahead, signaling with his eyes for Yuchi to hurry up and catch up. Finally, he said, ”The location for the martial arts contest for choosing a suitor is a bit far from here. We’ll take a carriage to another part of Cuncha City together soon. I know the exact location; we should be able to see others’ martial arts contests in about a quarter of an hour!”

Yuchi decisively nodded, followed behind Bu Tingyue, then glanced around. The surrounding area was filled with various shops, and the number of shops was quite decent. After looking at the expressions of the people beside him, he could instantly feel the waves of jealousy thrown his way, along with looks that clearly seemed to want to get rid of him directly.

”...”

”Cousin, don’t walk so fast. Your cousin brother just arrived in Cuncha City, so surely can’t walk fast.” He deliberately shouted loudly.

Bu Tingyue surely understood Yuchi’s intentions. She directly responded to Yuchi’s words, ”Yuchi brother, let’s go quickly. When you were young, you went with me to watch others’ martial arts contests for choosing a suitor. Let’s go see others’ contests now, or it will be late!”

Then Yuchi weakly surveyed the surrounding situation. After seeing others’ instant sighs of relief, he also followed suit and sighed with relief.

Damn it, when Laozi grows up in Xufu Town, I’ll make it clear. What could you do to me? Now going shopping with a pretty girl requires considering so many things, it doesn’t feel carefree and relaxing at all.

Just wait.

Anyway, that day will slowly come, just need to ensure now’s progress, stabilize without rushing, then the problem shouldn’t be big, and... Bu Tingyue’s slender figure is very good, a graceful girl, very proper and pretty, yet still walking with that dignified manner of a lady, quite impressive.

Luohua, on the other hand, is even more lively than Tingyue, essentially two different types of girls!

Boarding the carriage.

The carriage rumbled along the streets, swiftly weaving through the streets, of course, everyone sat inside, watching the excited girl opposite clenching her tiny fists. Yuchi jokingly asked, ”So what do you think the martial arts contest for choosing a suitor should be like?”

”It should be a woman dressed in bright red wedding attire sitting quietly not far from the arena, with her parents nearby, her relatives, and then on the arena not far away, you’d see brave competitors fighting for the woman, hitting each other mercilessly, and it also conveys that kind of ferocious, vicious expression as they get into fierce battles.”

Yuchi: ”...”

The first half of the sentence is fine, but the latter part becomes stranger the more you talk about it. You might have some issues yourself, girl, what’s this about hitting each other till heads are bloody? In a peaceful society, winning leads to jail time, losing leads to hospital stays, don’t fight.

However, this type of martial arts contest has been seen many times, basically lacking freshness, so using this contest as filler for the plot might just be fooling the readers.

Should think of a more unique martial arts contest.

”That being said...”

”And you, Yuchi brother, what do you think the martial arts contest for choosing a suitor should be like?” Bu Tingyue was quite curious about Yuchi’s views on this matter because from the current situation, Yuchi is still a thoughtful young man, which surprised her a bit.

The carriage wheels spun round and round, Yuchi thought for a bit, pondered for a while, then slowly opened his mouth and said, ”What I think the martial arts contest for choosing a suitor should be like.”

”It should be a man sitting in the main seat, leisurely sipping tea, and below a group of fair and beautiful women fighting each other, pulling hair, tearing clothes, and when someone finally wins the contest, she gets to make the man her husband.”

With the carriage moving without any sense of shock absorption, Bu Tingyue almost hit her head again, and after looking at the handsome young man talking seriously, Bu Tingyue fell into deep shock:

”My goodness, Yuchi brother, you dare say I have problems with my idea, but your idea has huge problems! You actually enjoy watching girls fight each other, and want to watch such battles keenly? That’s simply too outrageous!”

Yuchi laughed heartily, ”You asked me what I think the martial arts contest for choosing a suitor looks like, that’s what it should look like, but I can’t change the supposed ’should’, it can only exist in a very simple small fantasy.”

”Saying that, I actually think it’s pretty good too, it seems always it’s been heroes saving beauties, never heard of beauties saving heroes, such a woman fighting for the person she likes, it’s also a kind of persistence for love, quite good.”

Yuchi: ”...”

Really knows how to cajole!

Is this the characteristic of Celestial Craft Workshop girls? Can this be said straight away? But now with this, maybe girl power won’t be hitting me.

After all, conventional martial arts contests for choosing a suitor can be said to be male chauvinistic, saying women can only sit on the high platform and watch, but now two girls fighting each other, well then, there’s no problem at all.

Should be quite stable.

”But I beg you, please don’t let such a situation happen next, or my little heart might struggle.”

Yuchi chatted simply with Bu Tingyue, while the carriage kept moving towards the martial arts contest arena. At some unknown point, amidst their lighthearted conversation, the enthusiastic sounds of the martial arts contest could be heard not far away.

”Anyone else!”
