Inheriting A Divine Cultivation Clan At The Start, All My Juniors Are Empresses

”I hope I’m alright.”

Right now, Bu Tingyue and Yuchi’s thoughts are almost identical. She usually loves reading, apart from the dossiers from the Celestial Craft Workshop, in her spare time she reads all kinds of story anthologies. These anthologies often contain many depictions of relationships between men and women. Whenever she sees such scenes, she feels the author is quite verbose, but on the other hand, it’s very relaxing. At least, everyday descriptions don’t have any plot twists.

Of course, this isn’t closely tied to the main storyline. It’s something to read without pressure, especially suitable for watching while bathing, accompanied by petals floating on the steaming water surface, imagining the beautiful scenes of two people walking together on the streets in the story, it’s ultimately relaxing.

”Then as the host, I should probably be the one to initiate the conversation, right? After all, it’s his first time in our Cuncha City, I can’t just lack the stance of a host.”

Bu Tingyue thought for a moment, she felt she should talk about some light topics, but she usually isn’t very keen on speaking, and at most, her conversations are about persuading her mother to approve a duel between her and Bu Luohua, which is purely playful.

Hmm... What should I do then?

How should an introverted girl initiate a conversation in such a moment?

Bu Tingyue found herself quite conflicted. She slightly turned her head, her gaze wandered towards Yuchi. The young man next to her already had a somewhat grown-up appearance, but due to his handsome features, he didn’t look like he was of an older age. Hmm... His looks are quite nice.

After a moment of silence, Bu Tingyue suddenly thought of a book she likes to read, and then recalled the dialogue between the male and female leads. Since it’s a female-oriented story, this moment is from a woman’s perspective. So she just needed to mimic the female lead’s angle from the story.

The story goes like this, so there should be no problem for her, right?

She thought about it.

Then she spoke.

Bu Tingyue earnestly said, ”Young man, you’re very handsome. I wonder if you’ve ever liked any girl?”

Yuchi: ”...”

He nearly stumbled and fell to the ground. Was this Bu Tingyue? Was this Bu Luohua’s sister Bu Tingyue? Is this how a girl like her would directly speak?

What?

Did she mutate?

After Bu Tingyue finished speaking, she observed Yuchi’s expression, preparing to hear what he said in return. However, Yuchi was silent, and he clearly hid his eyes under his brow bone, looking as though he hadn’t slept for thirty days.

”He heard Zi’Er’s words, and for a moment, his mind was in turmoil. He didn’t know how such a perfect girl could talk to him.”

”Meanwhile, Zi’Er noticed how constrained he appeared; she hadn’t expected that he could look like a little maid.”

”Upon closer inspection, it was clear his face bore some shyness. After all, such a beautiful girl talking to him, an inexperienced young man, how could he ensure he wouldn’t be shy and confused?”

”Hehe, truly an adorable young lad, so inexperienced in emotions, pulling out a carved jade fan to clumsily fan himself, as if to disperse his shyness.”

”Interesting.”

Bu Tingyue was slightly satisfied.

”Now his behavior looks just like the story, proving the story’s scenarios do match real life. He’s still an inexperienced young man, shy even if he wishes to get closer to me, so I’ll just follow the story again, ensuring he doesn’t fall completely into passive silence; that would be my fault.”

Yuchi had no idea Bu Tingyue was reliving a story’s scenario in her mind. He was in cold sweat, feeling a very bad omen, fearing an embarrassing situation where he couldn’t even scratch himself.

And if old Yuchi knew what was happening in Bu Tingyue’s mind, he might slam his head into the wall with frustration.

Oh, what kind of old logic is this? Am I shy about this? It’s not that I’m shy, it’s that I have nothing to say. I’ve always been the one flirting, and here Bu Tingyue with her fine eyebrows and gentle demeanor unexpectedly speaks these wild words.

What do you mean I want to be close to you?

Sister, I never intended that at all; I just see you as my sister, just the kind of sister who says purple has charm. And please, sister, let’s calmly walk this path, don’t say exaggerated words, or it’ll be hard to wrap things up later.

Just then, Bu Tingyue’s voice came again, her eyes suddenly fixing on Yuchi, with a youthful energy and exclamation: ”Young man, don’t be shy, if you like me, just tell me.”
