Fantasy: I Can Randomly Refresh My Realm

put a spoke in wheelXiao Feng was speechless. Just as he was about to eat, he discovered that all the dishes on the table had been completely devoured by the monk.

Xiao Feng put down his chopsticks, preparing to end this rather unpleasant breakfast.

”I’m not full yet. Tell the Shop Assistant to bring more dishes,” the monk shouted at Xiao Feng.

Xiao Feng’s face twitched as he looked at Sun Yuanjie, who was also sitting to the side without having managed to eat anything.

Sun Yuanjie understood Xiao Feng’s intent and immediately went downstairs to tell the Shop Assistant to bring up two more breakfast portions.

Only one portion had been delivered earlier, but judging by the monk’s appearance, one portion clearly wasn’t enough.

Sun Yuanjie’s expression was grim; he hadn’t expected to run into this guy here.

He had no idea how Xiao Feng had even encountered this person!

Xiao Feng was already difficult enough to deal with, but he hadn’t expected someone even more troublesome to appear.

However, looking at Xiao Feng, he clearly didn’t know the monk’s true identity.

If Xiao Feng knew, he probably wouldn’t be eating at the same table, let alone sheltering him and letting him stay at the inn.

Once the Shop Assistant arrived at the room, Xiao Feng directly asked if there were any other signature dishes in the inn, then ordered a whole table full, telling the Shop Assistant to prepare them as quickly as possible.

After handing the silver to the Shop Assistant, the latter happily went downstairs.

Not long after, the Shop Assistant returned to the room with the dishes Xiao Feng had just ordered.

The two breakfast portions delivered earlier had already been eaten clean by the monk.

Xiao Feng had only managed to drink a bowl of porridge and eat a piece of flatbread.

Perhaps because he had something on his mind, Sun Yuanjie hadn’t eaten much at all, keeping his eyes fixed on the monk with a complex look.

Whenever the monk occasionally smiled at him, he was frightened out of his wits.

When the Shop Assistant served the food, he took a special look at the monk, who was wolfing down the food, shook his head, but didn’t say anything.

After placing the food, the Shop Assistant immediately spoke: ”Guest, all the dishes you ordered have been served. If there is still not enough, please call me in time, and I will notify the chef to continue cooking for you.”

Thinking about the silver he had spent this morning, Xiao Feng looked at the monk with a speechless expression.

This guy didn’t have a single cent; all the money spent over the past few days had been his own!

It would be best if he could get full from these dishes; even if he wasn’t full, he would absolutely not order any more food for him.

”Just how long has it been since you’ve eaten? You’re like a starving ghost. I haven’t even eaten much myself, yet all this food has ended up in your stomach.”

”Could it be that the Small Buddhist Temple doesn’t feed you? Don’t tell me you snuck out because you couldn’t get enough to eat at the temple, and now you’re planning to take revenge on them!”

Xiao Feng did not know the monk’s true identity.

He wanted to pry, but the monk was extremely alert; no matter how Xiao Feng asked, he was never willing to tell Xiao Feng what his dharma name was.

Helpless, Xiao Feng could only test the monk through observations of minute details.

”Cannot say, cannot say. You will know on the day you are meant to know. It is not the time yet. You only need to know that I will help you obtain what you want.”

”If you don’t believe me, you can ask this companion of yours. He knows that I always keep my word.”

The monk looked at Sun Yuanjie, who had been silently observing the two of them, with a playful gaze.

Sun Yuanjie was startled by the monk’s words.

Facing Xiao Feng’s gaze, he immediately nodded.

However, he did not reveal what the monk’s true identity was.

Xiao Feng didn’t ask anymore, watching helplessly as the monk once again wiped the table clean of food.

Xiao Feng wasn’t even angry; in fact, after the monk finished eating, he even asked quite familiarly if the monk wanted another portion.

If he thought the dishes were delicious, he could have the Shop Assistant bring another serving.

The monk rubbed his round, full belly, let out a burp without caring about his image, shook his head at Xiao Feng, and looked at him with appreciation.

”You are quite different from other people,” the monk said in an appreciative tone.

Xiao Feng muttered to himself: ”Just because I played the fool, not only providing you with a place to stay but also ordering so much food for you to fill your stomach, you think I’m different from others?”

Of course, Xiao Feng certainly wouldn’t say such things out loud.

”Don’t think I don’t know; you must be secretly scolding me in your heart. But you have a connection with me, you are a predestined person to me, so I will naturally help you fulfill your wish. Rest assured, I will definitely help you accomplish this matter.”

Xiao Feng didn’t say whether he believed the monk’s words or not; he just smiled at the monk and called the Shop Assistant to clear away the clean plates.

Listening to the monk speak like this from the side, Sun Yuanjie couldn’t help but complain in his heart: ”This guy really thinks he’s a compassionate monk; he’s not a good egg at all!”

”None of his ’predestined people’ have ever had a good ending. Now that Xiao Feng has actually become his ’predestined person,’ I wonder what Xiao Feng’s reaction will be once he learns his true identity, and whether he will still be so generous in covering this guy’s food and lodging.”

However, Sun Yuanjie only dared to think these words in his heart; he didn’t dare to say them in front of Xiao Feng.

After breakfast, the monk asked Xiao Feng to go out with him.

He wanted to take Xiao Feng to some places that would be useful when seizing the qingzhu relic later.

Xiao Feng didn’t ask Sun Yuanjie to come along, telling him to stay at the inn.

This was exactly what Sun Yuanjie wanted.

After both of them left, Sun Yuanjie watched from the window as the two drifted further and further away, finally letting out a sigh of relief.

He had important things to do today.

With the Buddha Festival approaching, he had to inform the Buddhist cultivators of the Small Buddhist Temple about Xiao Feng’s plan to steal the qingzhu relic before the festival arrived.

”Forget about that crazy monk; I’m afraid they won’t be back for a while. I must seize this opportunity to complete my plan as soon as possible.”

”Xiao Feng, oh Xiao Feng, even if I can’t deal with you, I don’t believe the Buddhist cultivators of the Small Buddhist Temple can’t handle you. You actually want to steal the temple’s supreme treasure; your death is fast approaching!”

Sun Yuanjie grumbled to himself in the room.

After preparing what needed to be prepared, Sun Yuanjie quickly found an opportunity to leave the inn.

He wasn’t going to accompany Xiao Feng to find any qingzhu relic.

He had no grudge against the Buddhist temple, so he wouldn’t accompany Xiao Feng to do such offensive things.

He had followed them just to ruin Xiao Feng’s plan, to destroy what Xiao Feng was trying to do!

Relying on his own strength to kill Xiao Feng now was simply impossible; Xiao Feng’s strength was too great.

But if he could find an opportunity to cause Xiao Feng to be seriously injured, then by relying on Xiao Feng’s trust in him, he could stick by his side and reap the rewards like the fisherman.

Not only would he be able to complete the plan that had originally been impossible, but he might even be able to get more good treasures from Xiao Feng.

”Xiao Feng, I will make you regret keeping me by your side. I will let you know that I, Sun Yuanjie, am not someone you can manipulate at will!”
