[BL] Transmigrated Into A Fool To Seduce The Blackened Male Lead

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Reader Makes A Plan

Seeing Sui Sui suddenly stop in his tracks, the maids halted as well, looking at him with concern. ”Young Master Sui, are you alright?” one of them asked, waving a hand in front of his face.

Sui Sui snapped out of his thoughts and quickly smiled. ”I’m fine. Let’s keep going.”

Seeing that he had returned to his senses, the maids resumed their cheerful chatter as if nothing had happened.

Meanwhile, Sui Sui’s mind was in complete disarray. He still had far too many questions, and now that the opportunity had presented itself, he had no intention of letting it slip away.

After clearing his throat to get everyone’s attention, he cautiously asked, ”Um... do any of you happen to know someone named Yizhou?”

The moment the name left his lips, the maids fell silent. They exchanged hesitant glances, seemingly unsure whether they should answer. Seeing their reaction, Sui Sui quickly urged, ”It’s alright. You can tell me.”

”Madam specifically instructed us not to mention Cultivator Yizhou in front of you,” one maid explained hesitantly. ”She was afraid it would make you smitten again.”

”We didn’t expect the Young Master to still remember him,” another maid added with a smile. ”It seems Young Master truly likes Cultivator Yizhou.” The maids then continued to tease. Just as Sui Sui had expected, the maids recounted how he had first met Yizhou two years ago while visiting his elder brother at the Wenjian Sect. Everything they described matched the novel exactly.

From their story alone, Sui Sui managed to confirm several important things.

First, this was still the protagonist’s first lifetime. After all, only in the first timeline had Yizhou saved the little fool from those thieves.

Second, the tragedy within the secret realm had yet to occur. According to the novel, the secret realm would only open when the protagonist reached the age of twenty-two. Judging from the current timeline, Yizhou should only be around eighteen or nineteen around the same age as him.

To Sui Sui, this was undoubtedly good news. Yizhou had not yet been betrayed so there was still time. If he planned carefully, perhaps he could prevent the protagonist from walking down that tragic path altogether.

Third...It was now confirmed beyond any doubt that he really was the little fool from the novel. Recalling the rather... explicit scenes between the little fool and the protagonist, Sui Sui’s ears gradually turned red.

”...”

How could the author write such a spicy chicken character?

Back when The Path of the Heavenly Tyrant was still ongoing, quite a few readers actually supported this pairing.

After all, it was the very definition of a dog-blood romance.

Although the protagonist did not personally kill Bai Suichen, Bai Suichen’s death was indirectly caused by him. That single tragedy eventually led to the destruction of the Bai family, creating the classic ”you are the reason for the destruction of my family, yet I still love you” trope that many readers couldn’t resist.

Besides, in the protagonist’s first lifetime, the little fool’s devotion had always been genuine.

Although he mostly served as comic relief during the early arcs, the novel briefly mentioned that after the protagonist died in his first life, the little fool lost both his beloved elder brother and the person he loved within a short span of time. Unable to bear the grief, he gradually fell into despair before eventually dying of heartbreak.

Because of that, many readers regarded the little fool as the protagonist’s true ”white moonlight.”

Of course although many shipped them the author never confirmed if the little fool was actually the main love interest as it was never mentioned in the novel if the protagonist did love them, additionally this wasn’t the only popular pairing in the book. There were countless other ships involving the protagonist.

Although Yizhou never consummated any of the marriages within his harem, he shared many emotionally charged moments with its members like the one-sided female demon general, the senior sister of the Wenjian Sect who was forced into marriage, the alchemist senior sister whom he had once saved, the fiery young mistress of the Phoenix Clan, and so on and so-forth so this little fool is just one of the many love interest.

By the time Sui Sui returned to his room, he practically threw himself onto the bed. His body wasn’t tired, His mind, however, was completely exhausted.

There were simply too many things to think about, never mind the harem for now, SuiSui immediately decided that this ridiculous plotline had to go.

The cultivation furnace? He didn’t need it.

Dual cultivation? Absolutely impossible.

As long as he could save Yizhou before tragedy struck, the protagonist would naturally fall in love with one of his destined heroines, and everyone would live happily ever after.

The priority was figuring out how to prevent the tragedy within the secret realm. The first solution that came to mind was to stop both his brother and Yizhou from entering the secret realm altogether.

Unfortunately...That was impossible, nevermind the fact that the protagonist probably wouldn’t listen to him, the secret realm contained countless opportunities that would become crucial to the protagonist’s future growth.

Even during his second life, despite knowing the dangers awaiting him, Yizhou had still chosen to enter. However, thanks to the experience from his previous life, he successfully concealed his demonic bloodline. Although the demonic cultivator still appeared and attacked the disciples, Yizhou had prepared in advance and ultimately emerged victorious, forcing the enemy to retreat.

Thinking back on it, Sui Sui suddenly realized something, it seems that the true identity of that demonic cultivator in the novel had never been revealed. Even after the novel ended, the author never explained who had attacked Yizhou’s group within the secret realm.

At the time, Sui Sui had found it rather strange, but there had been too few clues to speculate on.

Then another problem surfaced, In the original novel, Yizhou had only defeated many of his future enemies because he later obtained the inheritance of the ancient cultivator, his greatest golden finger.

But if Sui Sui succeeded in changing the plot...Then Yizhou might never obtain that inheritance at all.

After all, the hidden space containing the ancient cultivator’s inheritance had only awakened after Yizhou’s death in his first life.

Sui Sui fell into a deeper thought. He wasn’t willing to let Yizhou die just to obtain a powerful opportunity, even if it meant giving up such an incredible golden finger.

Still...If he could prevent the tragedy inside the secret realm, then Yizhou would never blacken.

If Yizhou never blackened, there would be no war between the Demon Realm and the cultivation world.

Without war, the world would remain peaceful.

So perhaps...Yizhou wouldn’t even need that golden finger in the first place.

He might become slightly weaker than he had been in the original novel, but if there was no catastrophe waiting for him, then that was a small price to pay. The protagonist has the golden halo of heaven, maybe he would still get another opportunity, plus with his knowledge of the novel, he could definitely help the protagonist gather hidden items that he never got in the novel.

You would never know if you didn’t try

Now all Sui Sui had to do...Was find a way to prevent the tragedy from ever happening.

Although he had no solution yet, there were still three or four years before the secret realm opened.

Surely...He would think of something by then.

With that optimistic thought in mind, Sui Sui drifted off to sleep with a smile on his face, not knowing that before his naive plan can even begin, everything would already have gone astray.
