Asmodeus System: Stealing My Bully's Mother

Inside the main hall of the ruined temple, time seemed to slow down.

The light from dozens of blood-red candles flickered violently. They were nearly blown out by the shockwave of their first exchange of attacks. The thin black mist that had been floating passively on the stone floor was now churning wildly.

In the middle of the hall, Ethan Valen stood frozen.

His posture was as solid as a boulder, even though his black shirt was torn in several places. The laceration from the forest earlier had reopened, dripping fresh blood that slowly stained the cold stone floor.

In his right hand, Velcrasia pulsed savagely. The dark red whip twitched slightly, like a thirsty vein.

A few steps ahead of him, Lilith curled a faint smile. Her black silk dress was torn at the shoulder, exposing her milk-pale skin. The Succubus’s long pink hair cascaded in a messy tangle. Her golden-red eyes stared at Ethan with absolute cunning.

Her black nails elongated instantly. As sharp as sword blades.

”You’re pretty fast, Human,” Lilith whispered. Her voice was melodious, yet it hummed with venom in the air. ”But physical speed... means nothing inside my domain.”

Lilith spread both her arms.

Instantly, a thick black mist exploded from her pores. The fog spread at an insane speed, swallowing the entire hall into pitch-black darkness.

The room’s temperature spiked. It was no longer a bone-piercing chill, but a stifling, humid heat that choked the lungs.

The mist was alive. It carried seductive whispers, hot pants against the nape of the neck, and soft laughter that tore at one’s concentration. Silhouettes of women with perfect curves manifested from the smoke, offering illusions of gentle touches on Ethan’s shoulders and chest.

High-tier illusion magic. Designed purely to shatter sanity.

However, Ethan’s dark brown eyes didn’t waver in the slightest. He slowly closed his eyes, discarding the cheap visual illusions, and let his instincts track the mana fluctuations.

SLASH!

From a blind spot on the right, Lilith lunged. Her black claws slashed Ethan’s left arm. A stinging pain flared instantly.

Ethan spun his body, retaliating with a lash from Velcrasia that cleaved the air.

CRACK!

The red whip only struck empty mist. The demon’s speed was absurd.

SLASH!

Another long gash appeared, tearing the back of Ethan’s shirt. Before he could turn around, a heavy kick landed squarely on his ribs.

BAM!

Ethan crossed his right arm to block the impact. His body was pushed back, his boots screeching harshly against the friction of the stone floor. But, he refused to fall.

From within the mist, Lilith’s coquettish laughter echoed. Surrounding Ethan’s ears from every direction.

”Mmm... your blood smells so sweet. The more you bleed, the weaker your sanity gets. Just give up. Your death will be accompanied by a pleasure you’ve never felt before.”

Ethan steadied his breathing. His brain went to work. This mist illusion locked down his peripheral vision, but Lilith’s physical attacks still required a tangible opening.

Suddenly, the stench of rotten incense in the air shifted. A thick, metallic scent of blood took over.

The illusion mist on the left side of the room thinned out, revealing Lilith’s silhouette. The Succubus stood right in front of one of the bone cages where the village children were locked up.

”What a shame... playing with you drains quite a bit of energy,” Lilith sighed. She glanced at a scrawny boy shivering inside the cage. ”I need a little refreshment.”

Lilith’s long black nail slipped through the gaps in the bones. Lightly touching the boy’s forehead.

At that exact second, the boy convulsed violently. His eyes rolled back to the whites. There was no scream. His voice and life energy were forcefully robbed. The boy’s skin dried up, shriveling like a dead leaf burned by the sun. In a matter of seconds, the small body shrank into nothing but skin wrapping around bones.

Lilith’s pale face instantly flushed. The shallow wound on her shoulder closed completely. She licked the residual energy off the tip of her nail, bearing her fangs at Ethan.

”This is how I’ve survived for hundreds of years,” Lilith stated arrogantly. ”And you... will be my dessert.”

Seeing that atrocity, Ethan’s expression remained as flat as marble. However, in the depths of his dark brown eyes, a blizzard raged.

”Control yourself, Ethan,” Asmodeus warned sharply in his head. ”A succubus feeds on lust and emotion. The angrier you get, the easier your movements are to read. Calm down.”

Ethan took a deep breath. He buried his anger deep within, replacing it with lethal calculation.

Simultaneously, the Sin Mana he had been restraining seeped out. It erupted from his body in the form of reddish-black smoke, sweeping away Lilith’s illusion mist without a trace.

The atmosphere of the ruined temple completely transformed.

The aura enveloping Ethan felt far too massive, too ancient for a human who had just touched Rank S.

Lilith’s movements halted. The laughter on her lips died instantly.

The Succubus’s nose sniffed the air. Her golden-red eyes widened in horror. She knew this scent. The legendary aroma of pure sin at the bottom of the Abyss; the absolute existence she had been worshipping through the shattered statue on the altar.

”T-this scent...” Lilith took a step back, her nails trembling slightly. Panic ruined her beautiful features. ”IMPOSSIBLE! That’s Lord Asmodeus’s aura! Where did you steal it from, you mortal worm?! ANSWER ME!”

Ethan tilted his head. His brown eyes slowly melted, flaring into a pure crimson red.

”Steal?” Ethan whispered, his voice flowing with cold, crushing weight. ”This aura is mine.”

That single sentence triggered the Succubus’s hysteria. Her pride as a fanatic worshiper was torn to shreds.

”DON’T LOOK DOWN ON ME!!”

Lilith lunged blindly. All her grace vanished. She fired toxic black mist and waves of lust magic like a hurricane, bombarding Ethan’s position relentlessly.

Instead of dodging, Ethan planted his feet firmly on the stone floor. He let the Sin Mana coat his body, taking the barrage of illusory attacks head-on.

Inside his head, system notifications chimed like crazy.

Asmodeus laughed in satisfaction. ”Fufufu... incredible. This stupid Succubus is throwing away all her lust energy to kill you, completely unaware that you are the absolute vessel of Sin.”

Every wave of lust that hammered Ethan’s Sin Mana didn’t hurt him in the slightest. The energy was instead greedily siphoned by the system. The Lust Points on his screen skyrocketed like a broken speedometer needle.

Lilith grew more out of breath. Her mana was drained dry, yet the human in front of her was still standing tall.

Right as the Succubus prepared to cast her final blood spell, a blood-red holographic screen exploded in Ethan’s retina.

[Maximum Lust Point Accumulation Reached!] [Special Item Unlocked: VELSYRA SKILL (Lust Reverse Manipulation)] [Purchase now? Y/N]

Purchase, Ethan commanded absolutely.

At that very second, the flow of Sin Mana in Ethan’s veins reversed. An ancient knowledge etched itself into his brain.

Ethan opened his eyes. His crimson gaze was now as cold as the grim reaper.

”Velsyra.”

A single word was spoken. The laws of reality inside the temple flipped 180 degrees.

The waves of lust and illusions created by Lilith suddenly froze in mid-air. Velsyra’s effect reversed the magic’s nature—from a seductant into a mental poison that struck its own creator.

Lilith jerked rigidly. Her eyes went wide, the veins on her neck bulging.

”W-what... what did you—ARGGHH!”

The Succubus fell to her knees. Her hands clutched her own chest in despair. Velsyra’s energy forced its way in, attacking her mana circuits. The remaining lust in her demonic body transmuted into waves of agonizing pain mixed with maddening pleasure, mercilessly torturing her sanity.

Lilith’s breathing grew ragged. Cold sweat drenched her silk dress. Her signature magic had now betrayed her.

Ethan stepped forward casually. His boots crunched on the shattered rocks. He towered over Lilith, raising Velcrasia which glowed with a dense red hue.

”Did you think you could control me with your cheap lust?” Ethan’s voice vibrated against the temple walls. ”I will never bow to lust, Lilith. Because I was born from it.”

CRACK!

Velcrasia lashed out, wrapping tightly around Lilith’s ankles. Ethan yanked the whip, sending the demon’s body crashing hard to kiss the stone floor.

Without wasting a second, Ethan pinned Lilith’s body down. His right knee locked the Succubus’s waist, while his left hand choked her pale neck tightly.

”You lose.”

Even though she was choking, Lilith’s hundreds of years of pride still burned. She smiled wanly.

”Y-you... only won a magic duel, Human...” Lilith whispered, forcing her seductive tone out. ”But my body... is the deadliest weapon. A Succubus has another battlefield... one that you will never win.”

With her remaining mana, Lilith’s dress shredded. She tried to ensnare Ethan’s soul through direct physical touch, baiting the young man into the true arena of lust.

Seeing the defiant face beneath him, Ethan’s expression remained flat. He loosened his chokehold slightly, then formed an exceptionally cruel smirk.

”Challenge accepted.”

Upon the stone altar, illuminated by the remaining red candles, the battle shifted stages.

Ethan didn’t retreat a single inch. He answered the challenge with the brutality of a king claiming his territory. He dominated Lilith, physically and mentally. Every lethal touch and forceful surge of Sin Mana that Ethan channeled pierced through the demon’s inner defenses.

Lilith, whose intention was to drain Ethan’s life, was instead slapped by reality. Ethan’s Rank S physique and Velsyra’s effects shattered her ego inch by inch.

Lilith’s seductive smile melted away, replaced by chaotic whimpers, culminating in screams of absolute submission. Her sanity was pulverized by the waves of foreign lust Ethan planted into her mana circuits.

”Ahh... e-enough... please, spare me...” Lilith babbled incoherently. Tears ruined her makeup. Her golden-red eyes lost all their arrogance.

The man-eating predator was now reduced to a prey begging for mercy. Her ego had been razed to the ground.

Lilith’s body finally went completely limp. Her breath hitched in despair upon the cold altar. She was no longer able to move a single finger.

Ethan got up calmly. He straightened his clothes without rushing. His satisfaction was not biological, but the pure domination over a creature that had looked down on him.

Ethan raised his right hand. ”Velcrasia.”

The red whip slithered up like a living snake. Its tip coiled around Lilith’s neck, forming a thick collar that fused with her mana. The other end tightly bound the demon’s wrists in front of her stomach.

Velcrasia was no longer a whip, but a slave’s leash.

Lilith didn’t resist. Her empty eyes stared at the floor.

Ethan tugged the end of the chain. ”Get up, Bitch. We’re going home.”

With her legs violently trembling, Lilith forced herself to stand. She limped forward barefoot, bowing her head submissively as she followed the young man’s steps.

The dawn wind began to sweep the mist away in the western forest.

When Ethan stepped out of the forest’s border and entered Valen Village’s square, it was no longer empty. Men stood guard gripping axes, while the women peeked from the building ruins.

The moment Ethan appeared, all activity ceased.

The villagers’ eyes weren’t fixed on the young man in the torn shirt, but rather on the pink-haired woman behind him. A terrifying magical aura emanated from Lilith’s body, confirming her true identity as a high-tier monster.

But what shattered their sanity was... that deadly monster was walking with her head bowed, dragged like a pet dog by their Young Master.

There were no heroic cheers. A gripping silence.

A much darker terror crept into the hearts of the villagers.

”Gods in heaven... the Young Master subjugated that demon...” ”He’s not human... he’s a monster far more terrifying than the demons...”

Ethan ignored the gazes of the insects around him. He continued walking through the snow. Lilith stumbled behind him, leaving red tracks from the bleeding soles of her feet.

The rusted gates of the Valen estate finally came into view.

Yuna stood frozen there. Her eyes were swollen, her face as pale as paper. Her hands gripped the hem of her wool cloak, trembling violently seeing her master bring a terrifying ’monster’ behind him.

Ethan stopped right in front of Yuna. Emotionlessly, he tossed the pulsating end of the whip toward the maid.

Yuna gasped and caught it on reflex. A dark magical aura instantly scorched her palm, making her nearly scream. However, she bit her lip, holding back the pain.

A second later, a chilling sensation crept from the whip’s surface down her arm, as if the weapon was judging her soul. However, since it was Ethan who handed it over, Velcrasia chose not to harm her.

”Tie her up in the basement,” Ethan ordered absolutely. ”Make sure the chain is locked to the stone pillar. Do not give her food or water until I permit it.”

Yuna swallowed hard. She glanced at the horrifying Lilith, then back to Ethan’s cold eyes.

”Y-yes, Young Master,” Yuna nodded quickly. ”Right away.”

Ethan stepped inside the house, leaving Yuna in the freezing cold. The maid took a deep breath, swallowed her fear, and tugged the end of Velcrasia. Leading the Rank S demon into the darkness of the basement.
