Vampire Progenitor System

Vampire Realm – Throne Hall, Nightfall

The moon above the capital was full, casting a pale silver glow across the spires of the vampire realm’s heart. The city pulsed below, alive with soft hums of magic, lights, and the quiet thrum of power lines that ran through the streets like veins.

Inside the throne hall, Lucifer sat with his fingers steepled beneath his chin. The air around him was heavier than usual.

Lucian stood to the side, reviewing reports, but Lucifer wasn’t listening.

His thoughts were already elsewhere.

Back on Earth.

Back to what Adam said before vanishing into that blinding light.

”I will burn the world and build a new one.”

And if he truly did it... then the new world was already out there.

Lucifer finally spoke, low and firm. ”Send for Seraph.”

Lucian nodded once and tapped his wrist communicator. ”Summon the High Witch.”

Moments later, the tall doors opened. Seraph entered in full ceremonial robes—midnight black with gold embroidery of eyes, moons, and serpents. Her long silver hair trailed behind her, and her presence carried that unique aura witches always had: calm, ageless, and quietly dangerous.

”You called, Progenitor,” she said, kneeling.

Lucifer rose from the throne.

”I want to know if Earth has been recreated. I need to know what Adam did.”

Seraph didn’t flinch. She nodded once. ”A scrying rite, then.”

”Make it exact. No guesswork.”

”I’ll need time to prepare. And I’ll need blood—yours.”

Lucifer extended his palm without hesitation.

She drew a thin silver dagger, sliced across his skin, and collected the crimson essence into a crystal vial.

Then she walked to the center of the throne hall. With a wave of her hand, the floor shifted—panels of dark stone sliding away to reveal a hidden ritual circle underneath, etched deep with ancient runes that glowed faintly with dormant energy.

Lucifer stepped down from the throne platform and stood back.

Seraph got to work.

She began by placing four obsidian bowls at the cardinal points—north, south, east, west—each filled with different reagents: crushed stardust, moon ash, powdered bone, and frozen timeroot. She walked around the circle slowly, pouring drops of Lucifer’s blood into each bowl, whispering words that made the temperature drop.

Then came the runes.

With her finger dipped in glowing ink made of melted spirit wax and vampire oil, Seraph traced glyphs across the ground—one for sight, one for silence, one for vision across time, one for shielding.

When the entire floor pulsed dim red, she stepped into the center of the circle and raised her hands.

Lucifer remained silent.

The energy shifted.

Then came the chant.

Seraph closed her eyes and whispered first.

Then the whisper became words.

Then the words became power.

”Arsh da’venorr, khe lieth zera...”

”Suhn-taresh, mihlar ozu’reth...”

”Ke’rath din shallem, ophir nah tu...”

”Vael drom’naz—dren or’Zahad!”

The room darkened.

The torches flickered and died.

Only the runes remained, pulsing rhythmically with the rise and fall of her voice.

As she continued, her body began to glow—white tattoos burning through her sleeves, eyes flickering with inner light. The bowls at each point hissed and released streams of smoke that curled upward like serpents, forming a dome above her.

The air screamed.

Then—silence.

Seraph opened her eyes.

A mirror of blood and smoke appeared before her.

Lucifer stepped closer.

Inside the mirror... a new Earth.

It floated, vast and beautiful. But wrong. Unnatural.

The oceans shimmered in impossible colors. The clouds moved like they were alive. Cities were spread across floating continents. Mountains curved in ways that defied physics.

There were humans—but they weren’t the same.

Stronger. Perfect. Every flaw removed.

And above it all, hanging like a crown in the sky, was a colossal ring of gold inscribed with the oldest tongue of all—the language of the Adversaries.

Lucifer’s eyes narrowed.

”What else?”

Seraph’s voice was tight. ”He did it. He made a new Earth. A perfect one.”

”Can we enter it?”

She hesitated.

”No.”

Lucifer frowned. ”Why?”

”Because he’s watching it. All the time. His gaze never leaves. I tried pushing further—”

She cut off.

Lucifer looked at her sharply. ”What happened?”

”I felt it.”

Her voice had lowered to a whisper now.

”I felt him. Not a vision. Not magic. I felt his eyes... staring back at me.”

Lucifer said nothing.

”He knows we’re looking.”

Seraph’s hands trembled as she lowered them.

”And he’s not alone.”

Lucifer looked at the vision again. His jaw clenched.

Seraph continued, ”He’s created lesser beings. He calls them gods. Guardians. They walk among the new people. I recognized some of them—names from Earth’s old myths. Zeus. Ra. Amaterasu. Odin. He pulled them from something else, maybe memories or echoes of belief, and made them real. Not as strong as him... but they’re enough to keep watch if he blinks.”

Lucifer stepped away from the vision.

”And Adam?”

She shook her head. ”Can’t see him. Only feel him. He’s... beyond it now.”

Lucifer’s gaze drifted to the ceiling.

So Adam had truly erased the world and made another.

A world without pain.

Without history.

Without... him.

He sighed and turned back to Seraph.

”Erase the ritual. Now.”

Seraph bowed her head and began chanting again, reversing the energy. The vision dimmed. The smoke vanished. The bowls cracked. The runes faded like dust being blown away.

Lucifer walked slowly back toward the throne.

Lucian, now returning from the side, kept quiet, sensing the weight in the air.

Lucifer sat again.

And for a long moment, no one spoke.

Then he muttered, more to himself than anyone else:

”Figures.”

He leaned forward, fingers steepled again.

”We’re going to Earth.”

Lucian raised an eyebrow. ”Now?”

”No. Not until I have a way past the eyes. Past the gods. I need to know everything first.”

He looked at Seraph.

”Start gathering legends. Any pantheon, any myth Adam might have used. I want to know what we’re up against. Not stories. Capabilities. Weaknesses.”

Seraph nodded and vanished with a pulse of smoke.

Lucifer turned to Lucian.

”Get Kira. Tell her I’ll need a curse forged strong enough to make even Adam flinch.”

”And the rest of the Seats?”

”Not yet. Not all of them. Just the ones who can move quietly.”

Lucian nodded once and walked off.

Lucifer sat alone again.

Only the hum of the Blade beside him kept the silence from swallowing the room whole.

He stared at the empty space where the vision had been.

And smiled faintly.

”This new Earth...”

He muttered.

”...I’ll break it open with my own hands.”
