Gardener of Eden

Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Commercial Peaches

Rowan wiped a light sheen of sweat from his forehead as he stepped off the damp earth, turning back toward the quiet comfort of the house. The golden glow of his skill was still settling deep into the roots of Sunny Vale, promising a vibrant harvest come sunrise.

As he walked down the darkened hallway past the living room, the quiet hum of the house was suddenly broken by the soft chime of the front doorbell.

Rowan paused, his hand instinctively resting near the Hoe of the World-Tiller. Peering through the side glass panel, he saw no one on the porch—only a small, ornate parcel resting on the mat, gleaming faintly in the moonlight. Sealed with thick golden wax and stamped boldly with the dragon insignia of the Imperial Family, it was clear a royal shadow guard had delivered it in the blink of an eye.

”Who was that?” Martha’s sleepy voice called out from her bedroom down the hall, rustling under her covers.

”Nothing, a package for me,” Rowan replied calmly, stepping out briefly to scoop up the box before closing the door softly.

”Okay, sleep early, dear,” Martha answered, her voice fading back into a comfortable sigh.

”I will, Mom,” Rowan murmured back.

Carrying the parcel upstairs to his bedroom, Rowan set his tool against the wall and carefully broke the golden wax seal. Inside the mahogany box, nestled on a bed of crushed silk velvet, lay two additional ancestral peach seeds. They were heavy, dark, and pulsing with a deep, dormant primordial rhythm—discreetly sent as an extra personal gift from the Emperor before his departure.

A broad, satisfied smile spread across Rowan’s face. Tucking the seeds into his pocket, he stepped over to the bedroom door, turned the brass lock with a quiet click, and pulled the thick curtains tightly shut to block out all light from the outside world.

Away from the sovereign scanning arrays of the Royal Estate and safely surrounded by the land he called home, Rowan finally allowed his spirit to release its restraint. He closed his eyes, centered his breath, and focused on his core.

”[Domain: The Virgin Soil].”

Space warped around him with a soft, golden hum, and in a flash of divine light, Rowan stepped out of his bedroom and into his private primordial paradise, ready to test his mythical Vessel of the Eternal Tide and sow the seeds of his future empire.

The golden light of spatial transition faded, giving way to the breathtaking, boundless horizon of [Domain: The Virgin Soil]. Here, beneath a twilight sky shimmering with elemental auroras, the air was dense with the pure, intoxicating fragrance of creation.

At the absolute center of his realm stood the colossal World Tree, its massive trunk stretching into the clouds and its roots plunging deep into the divine earth. Rowan didn’t tarry on the surface. Walking past rows of glowing spirit crops, he approached the grand hollow at the base of the giant tree and descended the winding root-staircase into the subterranean sanctuary beneath.

The air grew cool and sweet, heavy with the divine aura of his domain’s ultimate treasure: a crystal-clear subterranean pool brimming with Primordial Liquid Essence. This was the concentrated life-blood of his domain, a liquid so rich and potency-dense that even a few drops could accelerate crop maturation by months or revitalize dying soil. However, its natural generation was slow, making every drop precious.

With steady hands, Rowan summoned the Vessel of the Eternal Tide from his spatial inventory. The sea-blue relic hummed softly in his grip, its wave-patterned engravings pulsing with ancient hydro-mana.

Rowan carefully dipped the lip of the watering can into the glowing pool, allowing the dense, golden-tinted primordial nectar to fill its inner chamber. The moment the liquid entered the vessel, the sea-blue runes flared violently, intertwining with the golden light of the domain fluid. The relic’s non-dilution matrix shuddered as it locked onto the molecular and elemental composition of the primordial nectar.

Tension hung in the dim chamber as Rowan lifted the relic and hovered it over a small stone basin. Slowly, he tipped the spout.

A smooth, continuous stream of glowing, golden-blue liquid cascaded down. Rowan let it pour for ten, thirty, sixty seconds—far exceeding the volume of the small vessel’s physical reservoir. Looking down at the subterranean pool, he confirmed that the natural spring hadn’t diminished by a single drop, nor had the stream lost a fraction of its concentrated, divine aura.

His hypothesis was an absolute success.

The Vessel of the Eternal Tide had adopted the primordial nectar as its baseline fluid. It was no longer just an infinite spring-water can—it was now a limitless reservoir of Primordial Life Liquid. Rowan let out a low, breathless laugh, watching the endless liquid shimmer. With an infinite supply of his domain’s ultimate growth catalyst in hand, cultivating his three ancestral peach seeds into full, thriving trees wouldn’t take years—it would take mere days.

Emerging from the hollow of the colossal World Tree, Rowan stepped back onto the expansive, aurora-lit fields of [Domain: The Virgin Soil]. The realm hummed with tranquil power, its sky shimmering with elemental waves as fields of mature spirit crops glowed in full bloom.

With practiced ease, Rowan set to work. Raising the Hoe of the World-Tiller, he moved down the neatly arranged plots with fluid, rhythmic precision. The divine tool glided through the topsoil, cleanly turning the earth and harvesting pristine bundles of radiant spirit herbs, crystal-grains, and vitality roots without causing a single tear to their delicate mana structures. Working with a farmer’s steady cadence, he gathered the rich yield into his inventory and immediately resowed fresh seeds into the newly aerated earth.

With the main fields resown, Rowan moved to a prime, undisturbed plot where subterranean mana currents ran particularly dense. Taking the dark, pulsing ancestral peach seeds, he carefully dug deep planting holes, spacing them exactly six meters apart to grant their sprawling primordial root systems ample room to expand without competing for nutrients. He placed the heavy seeds gently into the damp earth, patted the rich soil firm over them, and stood up, lifting the Vessel of the Eternal Tide.

Holding the sea-blue relic over the plots, Rowan tipped the spout.

A magnificent, cascading mist of golden-blue Primordial Life Liquid poured forth, showering the entire field in an endless, undiluted stream of pure creation essence. The reaction was instantaneous and astounding. Across the resown fields, emerald shoots ruptured through the soil, stretching into mature, flourishing stalks within mere seconds.

Where the peach seeds lay buried, the ground trembled with a low, resonant thrum. The topsoil crested upward as thick, primordial taproots drove deep into the domain’s bedrock. From the earth, heavy gnarled trunks surged skyward, spreading thick branches that exploded into a dense canopy of shimmering pink blossoms. Within moments, two towering ancestral peach trees stood fully matured, radiating a sweet, intoxicating fragrance that swept across the entire domain.

Rowan lowered the watering can, a calm, satisfied smile spreading beneath the brim of his Enchanted Straw Hat. Combining the ancient relic with his domain’s divine nectar hadn’t just accelerated growth—it had bypassed time entirely.

Satisfied with the astonishing results, Rowan stepped up to the two towering ancestral peach trees, their heavy, velvet-skinned fruit glowing with a soft pink radiance beneath the domain’s auroras. The sweet, ancient fragrance was intoxicating, carrying an elemental purity that cleared his mana pathways with every breath.

With practiced care, Rowan plucked the heavy peaches from the branches, feeling the dense, warm vitality thrumming beneath their delicate skin. Each fruit was easily three times the size of a standard peach, heavy with pure primordial nectar. Rowan packed them carefully into stasis-lined wooden crates before storing them directly into his spatial inventory, locking their freshness and divine potency at their absolute peak indefinitely.

These ancestral peaches were more than just a legendary culinary delicacy—they were high-tier cultivation catalysts capable of purging deep internal toxins, enhancing mana channels, and extending vitality. Held within Eden International’s private inventory, a single one of these fruits could command a fortune among imperial grandmasters and high-court nobility.

Rowan wiped a light sheen of sweat from his brow, looking out over the pristine expanse of [Domain: The Virgin Soil]. The main crop beds were thriving, the newly planted fields were germinating under the mist of the Vessel of the Eternal Tide, and his two ancestral peach trees stood like proud sentinels near the World Tree.

With his domain work complete, Rowan centered his spirit and deactivated his skill. Golden light warped the horizon, and in an instant, the vast, sun-drenched sanctuary dissolved, dropping him quietly back onto the hardwood floor of his bedroom in Sunny Vale.

The room was pitch black with the curtains pulled tight, filled only with the faint, steady breathing of his sleeping parents down the hall. Rowan carefully unstrapped his gear, leaning the Hoe of the World-Tiller against the corner and placing his Enchanted Straw Hat onto the bedside table. The Golden-Red Imperial Dragon Badge on his uniform caught a sliver of moonlight, gleaming softly in the dark.

Tomorrow would mark the beginning of a chaotic week—managing trade inquiries with Martha, planning their expansion across the fifty acres of Sunny Vale, and scaling up Eden International to meet the demands of the imperial elite. But as Rowan sank into his comfortable bed, a quiet, contented smile touched his lips. Closing his eyes, the champion cultivator finally let the quiet peace of home wash over him, drifting into a deep and well-deserved sleep.
