SSS-Ranked Surgeon In Another World: The Healer Is Actually OP!

Vaelith’s Core trembled faintly.

The density of mana in the surroundings dropped. noticeably.

Bruce felt the shift instantly.

Ash was consuming everything.

Greedily.

Endlessly.

And still. it continued.

The sixth ring formed.

Then the seventh.

The eighth.

For the first time, there was resistance.

A flicker.

A brief moment where the violent surge of mana faltered, where the condensing energy seemed to hesitate. Bruce’s eyes sharpened.

but it didn’t last. The resistance was crushed.

Overwhelmed. Devoured. The eighth ring stabilized.

Bruce exhaled slowly, though his gaze did not soften.

“This speed…”

He was out of words…

The ninth ring formed.

And then. the tenth.

The moment it locked into place. the world broke.

BOOM!!!

A pulse of overwhelming mana erupted outward from Ash’s body like a collapsing star unleashing its final, dying scream.

The Labyrinth Core shook violently.

The very space within it warped, as if reality itself had been forced to acknowledge the birth of something it could not fully contain.

Bruce’s coat fluttered under the shockwave, his body steady. but even he felt it.

That weight. That pressure.

And then. Ash changed.

Its body expanded violently, scales stretching, muscles and bones growing in an instant as mana surged uncontrollably across its form.

One moment. a small dragon sat quietly at the center of the Core.

The next. a colossal existence stood in its place.

Over fifty meters tall. A living mountain of black and crimson.

Each scale pulsed faintly with condensed mana, as if every inch of its body housed a world of power within it. Thick streams of energy rolled off its form like heatwaves, distorting the space around it, bending light itself into submission.

Its eyes opened. And they glowed.

Bright. Ancient. Terrifying.

There was no innocence left in them.

No trace of the small creature Bruce had carried on his shoulder.

Only power. Only authority. Ash opened its jaws.

And roared. The sound wasn’t just heard. It was felt.

A thunderous, world-shaking roar that tore through the Labyrinth Core, echoing endlessly, carrying with it a weight that pressed against the soul itself.

It was a declaration. A proclamation.

The birth of an apex existence. Bruce stood below it. Alone.

A single figure beneath something that now resembled a god.

From this scale, he looked insignificant.

A speck. A speck of dust beside a mountain.

Even Vaelith’s Core. vast, ancient, overwhelming in its own right. felt smaller.

Diminished.

Overshadowed by the sheer presence Ash now exuded.

And then Bruce felt it fully.

The pressure.

It wasn’t hostile.

There was no killing intent.

No directed malice.

But it didn’t need any of that.

This was pure existence.

The aura of an S-Ranked Devourer Dragon.

His muscles tensed slightly, instinct reacting before logic could suppress it. Even as an SS-Ranked Awakened, even with his control, his power, his experience.

he felt it. Clearly.

Undeniably.

“He’s already…”

Bruce didn’t finish the sentence.

He didn’t need to.

This wasn’t just evolution.

This was domination.

A being that stood above its rank.

A creature that could crush others simply by existing.

Then. the pressure shifted.

Ash’s massive form flickered.

Its body began to shrink, the overwhelming mana that once exploded outward now collapsing inward, condensing, compressing into something far smaller. but no less terrifying.

In mere moments. the colossal dragon disappeared.

Replaced by something… compact.

Dense. Controlled.

Its form settled, Not back to its original size.

No…. This time.

Ash stood at the size of a medium-built Pitbull.

Small enough to seem harmless at a glance.

But that illusion shattered instantly. Because the aura remained.

The air around it still warped faintly, as though reality itself needed time to adjust, to stabilize around the existence it now hosted.

Ash opened its eyes.

The glow within them had changed.

Sharper. Deeper. Aware. Dangerous.

Then. it looked at Bruce.

And growled softly.

A soft, familiar sound.

Simple and Innocent.

As though the overwhelming presence from moments ago had never existed.

Bruce stared at it.

Then he exhaled, the tension in his body easing just slightly.

“…You’re ridiculous.”

Ash tilted its head, almost as if it understood. and yet didn’t.

Then, without hesitation. it leaped.

Landing effortlessly on Bruce’s shoulder, settling into its usual spot as though nothing had changed.

Despite its increased size, despite the density of power contained within its body.

its weight meant nothing to him.

To an outsider, the sight would seem strange.

A creature too large, too powerful, perched so casually.

But to Bruce. it felt natural.

Ash curled slightly against him, its tail shifting behind his back as it settled in comfortably, its overwhelming aura now perfectly contained beneath a calm surface.

Like a storm sealed within a fragile shell. Bruce glanced at it from the corner of his eye. And for the first time since it began. a faint smile formed on his lips.

There was pride in it. And something deeper.

“…Welcome to S-Rank.” ….

Far beyond the layered structure of lower worlds.

Beyond the reach of Labyrinths.

Beyond even the awareness of most so-called gods.

there existed a realm that did not belong to mortals, nor to beasts, nor to any ordinary race.

A realm ruled by hunger itself.

The Galaxy of Devourer Dragons.

Yet, unlike what its name suggested, it was not a chaotic expanse of mindless destruction.

It was… structured.

Civilized.

Terrifyingly so.

Vast floating continents drifted through a dark cosmic expanse, each one anchored by pillars of condensed devouring energy that extended endlessly into the void. Rivers of liquid mana flowed like glowing veins across these lands, feeding towering cities forged from black-gold materials that seemed to pulse faintly. alive, as if they too could devour.

At a glance, one might mistake it for a divine realm.

Until they looked closer. Some of the “stars” in the sky were not stars.

They were dragons.

Colossal, slumbering entities coiled around themselves in the distant void, their bodies radiating ancient power. Some stirred lazily, others remained still like eternal guardians, but all of them shared one thing.

they were Devourer Dragons in their true forms.

Yet below. walking upon those vast continents, were figures.

Humanoid in appearance. Tall. Elegant.

Each one radiating an oppressive aura that could crush lesser beings instantly.

Their eyes carried faint draconic glows with horns of different shapes and sizes

Their presence alone distorted the surrounding mana.
