Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

On the sea surface thousands of miles away from Yamato.

Two figures of unparalleled elegance were treading on water, with aquatic exotic beasts and abyssal creatures occasionally lunging toward them. Yet, before they could approach, they were shattered into blood mist by an invisible force, transforming into rays of light.

”The exotic beasts in this ocean are much stronger than those on land...”

The Saintess slightly raised her eyebrows. The exotic beast she encountered earlier, nearly a thousand meters long and shaped like a whale, surprisingly possessed Tier Seven strength, whereas land beasts at Tier Four were already considered Beast Kings.

They couldn’t possibly grow to Tier Seven strength.

”The ocean on Blue Star was already extraordinarily mysterious before entering the Professional era. Humanity has never fully understood the ocean, even more so after entering the Professional era.”

”Even Coastal University and the East China Military Region are only guarding several Abysses near the coast. No nation or force has ever ventured into the far sea.”

”Even Wu Xia is merely in surveillance of the far sea.”

Lin Xin’an was surrounded by a faint green glow, causing any exotic beast hit by the light to rapidly age, as if their lifespan was instantly drained, leaving only bones.

The Saintess fixed her gaze on the ocean surface, ”There’s a massive Abyssal Passage beneath us...”

Ye Xin’an nodded, ”Yamato has an Abyss called the High Celestial Plain, according to the remaining people’s accounts. And in our view, this Abyss is enormous, at least equal to the Eye Demon Abyss.

It has at least three Tier Ten entities named after the Yamato Myths: Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susano.”

”However, they seem to be restricted and cannot enter Blue Star, but through the Abyss, they have long occupied Yamato. Orochi is their proxy cultivated outside.”

”This Abyss not only seized Yamato with domineering means but also colluded with the Yamato people. If the Holy Arrival Sect and Celestial Destiny Sect are active globally amongst the demons, then the Samurai Way of Yamato is the Demon Organization remaining in the former Yamato. They employ various methods to sabotage, assassinate talented professionals, or forcefully bring them to Yamato for an Abyssal baptism.”

Lin Xin’an spoke coldly.

”Why not just destroy them directly.”

”Because of the High Celestial Plain behind Yamato. The three Tier Ten entities, if they break the restriction by force, will cause an extremely terrifying effect on Blue Star.”

”Won’t slaying Orochi cause the same?”

”It will alarm them, but we have no choice,” Ye Xin’an explained, ”Reaching Tier Ten on Blue Star is different compared to the original Abyss Tier Ten.”

”Different?”

Ye Xin’an knew well that the Saintess was Shen Fei’s Summoned Beast. Saying this to the Summoned Beast was like saying it to Shen Fei, using this opportunity to educate Shen Fei a bit.

After all, in the future, Shen Fei would be one of the substantial controllers of the Breaking Abyss Army and the Sword Holders.

These were intel he should inherently know.

”After reaching Tier Ten, one will master Laws, and the Blue Star Heavenly Dao’s restriction on the Abyss Tier Ten is precisely a law restriction.”

”Abyssal Tier Ten entering Blue Star will face severe suppression from the Blue Star Heavenly Dao, potentially losing their Undying Body characteristic of Tier Ten.”

The Saintess, too, mastered the Laws, instantly understanding what Ye Xin’an meant with just this sentence. However, she frowned slightly, ”Then why can our Tier Ten on Blue Star so easily enter the Abyss?”

Ye Xin’an shook his head, ”I’m not sure, but according to the Righteous Judgment, Blue Star’s sky is still alive, but the sky of the Abyss we’ve encountered is long dead.”

The sky is dead?

Could it be the Heavenly Dao?

Or perhaps only worlds with a Heavenly Dao can be considered Grotto Heavens and have the potential to become True Immortals?

The invasions of the Abyss into Blue Star, aside from the higher layers’ orders, could also be for achieving True Immortality?

This poses a problem.

If the Abyss’s sky is dead, killed by the Abyss, why would the Abyss kill these ’heavens’?

To augment True Immortals?

As the Saintess pondered.

Ye Xin’an continued to explain, ”If Orochi breaks through Tier Ten on Blue Star, it would be just like the slain Forest Demon, a Tier Ten entrenched on Blue Star, extremely difficult to deal with and without Blue Star Heavenly Dao’s restriction.”

”To slay it, one must surpass it by at least a couple of levels.”

”And compared to the Forest Demon, Orochi constantly desires to cross the ocean and assault Wu Xia.”

”When that time comes, the defense pressure on East and South China will exponentially increase.”

The Saintess nodded, understanding.

The two moved swiftly, nearly reaching Yamato, and at this point, the Saintess could see the towering Mount Fuji, a look of surprise crossing her face, ”Is that mountain a volcano?”

”Yes.”

Ye Xin’an nodded. The Saintess laughed, ”Then it’s perfect. I’ll just ignite it to stir things up.”

”You can ignite it?”

Ye Xin’an was a bit startled. Mages indeed possess terrifying power once reaching the High Tier, but not every Mage can leverage Heaven and Earth Power.

Especially since Blue Star entered the Professional era.

The majesty and firmness of great rivers, towering mountains have both increased.

”I can. Anyway, slaying Orochi will alarm the so-called High Celestial Plain; I may as well ignite this first.”

”Alright. I’ll support you!”

Ye Xin’an nodded, understanding that the ultimate goal was to slay Orochi.

”Wait a moment.”

The Saintess suddenly raised her eyebrows, and two clusters of dark gold light appeared in her palm, widening Ye Xin’an’s eyes, ”Mythical Object?”

In the next moment.

Ye Xin’an saw these two clusters of light suddenly merge into the Saintess’s body.

Colorful hues shimmered on the Saintess, the Five Elements achieving wholeness at this moment.

The Saintess looked towards the distant Mount Fuji, clenching her hand.

”Rumble!”

The ground shook.

A terrifying power began to brew beneath the earth...

No!

Not brew!

But sealed for countless years!

Now, fully unsealed!

And the colossal creature entrenched on Mount Fuji, eight mountain-like heads tightly shut their eyes, while beside these heads, a fleshy mass writhed continuously, seemingly about to sprout a new head.

Abyssal breath rolled all around, like misty clouds.

Suddenly.

Eight eyes snapped open, filled with rage, and a deafening roar erupted.
