The Devil's Favourite Obsession

Finally, his mouth released her nipple with a pop. He kissed the valley between her breasts.

Both his hands stayed where they were, palms full of her breasts, fingers kneading in slow, firm rotations as his mouth descended across her ribcage. He kissed each rib he could feel beneath her skin. He kissed the soft skin below her sternum. He kissed the slight curve of her belly.

Cixi looked down at him through half-open eyes. Her lashes were damp. Her lips were bitten raw. She watched Cassian press his mouth against her navel, his tongue dipping briefly into the small hollow, and his pitch-black hair, now diluted into light brown, lifted to meet hers.

He held her gaze as he kissed her belly. His eyes never left hers, and the sight of him there, his swollen lips dragging across her stomach, his hands still working her breasts, watching her with that focused, burning hunger, made her entire body tremble.

She clenched her legs together, but Cassian was between her legs. And he relished the response Cixi gave him.

His hands finally left her breasts. They slid down her sides, over her ribs, along the dip of her waist, past the jut of her hipbones.

His right hand gripped her left thigh.

His fingers pressed into the soft inner flesh and he spread her legs wider. He lowered his face and kissed the inside of her thigh. And another cry escaped from Cixi’s lips. Three inches above her knee. He moved higher. One more kiss. Then another kiss, and each kiss was getting closer to where she ached, while Cassian deliberately made it agonisingly slow, knowing what Cixi wanted the most.

He switched thighs. His left hand gripped her right leg, and his lips pressed wet, open kisses along the sensitive inner skin. His breath fanned hot against her soaked panties, and Cixi’s hips jerked off the mattress.

He did not touch her there.

He kissed around it. His lips grazed the crease where her thigh met her hip, his tongue tracing the line of her underwear without crossing it. He pressed his mouth against the thin skin just below her navel, his nose brushing the top edge of her panties. He nuzzled the soft flesh of her inner thigh, close enough that she could feel the heat of his breath through the wet lace.

But he did not touch her where she needed him.

”Please...” The word broke out of her chest. She did not recognise her own voice. It was wrecked and desperate. Stripped of every shred of pride.

Cassian pressed a kiss to her hipbone. His thumb stroked the inside of her thigh in lazy circles as he was in no hurry. He had all evening and the night.

Cixi’s toes curled. Her fingers twisted the sheets into knots. Her thighs trembled uncontrollably. The throbbing between her legs had become a physical ache so intense it bordered on pain. Every nerve ending below her waist screamed for contact, for his touch, and he gave her nothing but the ghost of his breath and the slow drag of his lips on skin that was not where she needed them.

”Cass, please...” she whispered again, louder this time, her voice cracking on his name.

He looked up at her from between her thighs. His eyes had now turned into glowing brown. Was she hallucinating? The hunger in them was animal, barely restrained, and a muscle ticked in his jaw as though the act of holding himself back was costing him physically.

His fingers hooked into the waistband of her panties.

He pulled them down.

Slowly.

Inch by inch.

The soaked fabric peeled away from her swollen flesh. He dragged the lace down her trembling thighs, past her knees, over her calves, and off her curled toes.

He inhaled the fabric of her panties, her intoxicating scent enveloping him as he drew them closer, savoring the allure before letting them slip from his fingers to fall softly to the floor.

Cixi lay completely bare before him. When she tried to close her legs together. He stopped her, holding her thigh and keeping them apart.

Cassian eyes rested on her flushed pink between her parted thighs. Swollen and slick with the arousal that had been building since the car, since his thumb on her lip, since the first taste of lemonade on his tongue. His jaw clenched. His nostrils flared. A ragged breath tore through his chest.

He lowered his head between her thighs.

His tongue touched her with a single lick from bottom to top that collected every drop of wetness her body had produced.

Cixi’s mind exploded with firecrackers. A thousand of them. Bursting behind her eyelids in white and gold. Her back arched so violently that her shoulder blades left the mattress. A moan ripped from her throat; it was loud and unrestrained.

Cassian groaned against her. The vibration rippled through her swollen flesh, and she cried out again.

He licked her a second time. The same devastating stroke, slow and thorough, the flat of his tongue dragging through her folds, tasting her. His hands gripped her thighs, holding them open, his thumbs pressing into the soft inner flesh to keep her spread for him.

Cixi’s hands shot to his hair. Her fingers buried themselves in the dark, silky strands and gripped. She pulled him closer, her hips rising to meet his mouth, every rational thought disintegrating under the wet heat of his tongue.

His tongue tasted her clit. His lips closed around the swollen bud, and he sucked gently. Cixi screamed. Not a moan. Not a gasp. A scream that came from somewhere deep in her belly, wanted more. Her thighs clamped around his head. Her toes curled so hard they cramped.

Cassian did not stop. He licked around the sensitive nub in slow circles. Then faster. Then, slow again, varying the pressure, the speed, reading every tremor and gasp that left her body. His tongue dipped lower, pressing into her entrance, tasting the source of the wetness that coated his lips and chin.
