Forty Millenniums of Cultivation

“By the Fist God!”

“Help me, Fist God!”

“Invincible Fist God, Demon Taming!”

The ascetics seemed to have turned into the incarnations of the Fist God. Their bulging muscles were all gifts and decrees from the Fist God. They were about to turn their hot blood into surging tides and bombard Gus.

Gus pulled the trigger emotionlessly.

The Vulcan Machine Gun started revolving unhurriedly. Three long whips of flames spurted out of the three barrels and interweaved into the sickle of the grim reaper, which was about to reap the prey.

The first ascetic was cut in half by the sickle of flames. Just like Zhou Yan, he was cut in half without any suspense. The upper half of his body flew up, and the lower half collapsed to the ground.

The second ascetic punched. His fist collided with the bullet brutally. His arms, shoulders, chest, and heart were all blown to smithereens. The bullet burnt and took away most of his internal organs. His eyes were wide open in disbelief.

The third and the fourth ascetic, one in the front and the other in the back, were riddled with holes by the magma-like bullets at the same time. They were only able to shout the two words ‘Fist God’ before they were frozen.

Fifth place, sixth place, seventh place…

The aggressive ascetics turned into vulnerable live targets. Their awe-inspiring actions only made their death look better.

“…”

The hellish scenes left a deep impression on the hearts and souls of the pursuers, who were all rendered speechless.

His soul almost left his body. He felt that his belief was cracking and about to collapse like the sky.

The burning sickle of death reaped the lives of more than ten monks instantly and started extending toward the pursuers. It was not until the three pursuers were all blown into pieces that the pursuers realized that the attack range of Gus was far beyond their imagination.

At this moment, the position of the hunter and the prey was completely reversed. The pursuers discovered, to their desperation, that they were not hunters at all but small animals shivering in traps.

“Run!”

There was no telling who was the first to scream.

The pursuers were like ants whose nest had been demolished. They turned around and ran away in a flurry.

Right now, they were displaying all the marvelous techniques that the Fist God had taught them. They were running as fast as monkeys with oil under their feet and jumping as high as birds whose bottoms were on fire. While they were running, they were also shouting hysterically, venting the fear and confusion that they had never experienced before.

There was only one person who did not join the escape team.

He was still standing on the cliff like a pillar on a lone island.

The priest of the Temple of Fist, Lei Lie!

“Gus…”

Lei Lie was indeed in a trance.

But there was more pain and sorrow, as if he was lamenting that his nephew had degenerated to such a degree.

“What kind of devil have you been exposed to?”

Lei Lie strode toward Gus.

With every step he took, the black robe on his body expanded a little bit, leaving crater-like footprints behind him. He even left crisscrossing cracks on the ground and stabbed at Gus like sabers.

“Uncle, don’t force me!”

Gus’ eyes were crimson, and his face was hideous. For a moment, he felt that he was truly possessed. He roared like an animal and aimed his gun at Lei Lie, leaving a trench of smoke on the ground.

“Is that why you and your sister are so stubborn?”

Lei Lie roared. His black robe expanded to the maximum and suddenly broke apart. Every piece of his clothes stretched out and blocked Gus’s vision as well as his movements.

Behind the black robe, Lei Lie jumped high into the air with an intimidating aura. Then he made a weird turn in midair and dived back to the ground silently, like a giant bird that had turned into a viper. He stuck close to the ground and snuck toward Gus.

If Gus had been holding an ordinary weapon, or even a chain crossbow with a delicate structure, it would have been impossible for him to capture Lei Lie’s lightning-like and mysterious body without the help of his x-ray vision.

Even though the ‘Black Tide’ Vulcan Machine Gun was a piece of heavy equipment with a slow turning speed and was driven by a newbie such as Gus who did not even have the strength to truss a chicken, it could not keep up with Lei Lie’s pace.

But don’t forget that Gus was carrying a ‘God’s Punishment VII’ mini rocket launcher on his shoulder, which could lock onto the target with infrared rays and fire automatically.

Gus did not notice that Lei Lie was drawing close to the ground with his eyes or his consciousness, but he was seen clearly by the ‘God’s Punishment VII’ infrared sensors.

Hiu! Hiu! Hiu! Hiu! Hiu!

Dozens of rockets as light and delicate as bees rushed out of the ‘hive’ on Gus’ shoulder and drilled into the ground almost ten meters away, where they formed small volcanoes and suddenly erupted.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The fangs of flames protruded out of the ground and overlapped with each other.

The raging flames forced Lei Lie to jump up again to avoid the blast and the magma.

The invincible priest of the Temple of Fist, who was a symbol of the will of the Fist God in the hearts of the residents of Red Gold Town, had been burnt black and blue.

“Even the high priest…”

“How is it possible? By the Fist God, what is wrong with the world?”

“Gus, the useless bum, has become so awesome with the help of the devil. Why?”

“Isn’t the Fist God the best god in the world? Why are the most loyal messengers of the Fist God and the priests of the Temple of Fist God no match for the devil?”

The survivors, who were riddled with wounds, were all pale. Their eyes were unfocused, and they held their heads, caught in the swirl of collapse.

“Do you see it, Uncle? This is the power of the devil!”

Gus vented the emotions that he had been suppressing for more than ten years. “Dad was right. He was not fooled by the devil. It was because he saw that the devil was stronger than the Fist God that he dedicated himself to the research of machinery and steam!

“The winner takes all. Isn’t it the law of the world of the Fist God?”

“Wasn’t the Fist God the only true god in the world because of his invincible strength?

“Isn’t it because of the invincibility of the Fist God that we worship him, submit to him, and believe in him?

“Right now, a god stronger than the Fist God has appeared, and a power stronger than the Iron Fist Art has appeared. Who is the real god? Who is the devil? Who believes in the truth? Who has been fooled by lies? Who is right and who is wrong? Tell me, Uncle. Tell me!”
