Forty Millenniums of Cultivation

The Supreme Emperor’s last words employed a very advanced method of information transmission and interaction, allowing Li Yao to experience everything he felt in the pasteven everything he felt when he was in the embryo state.

It was a natural-born picture that had been embedded in the segments of the Supreme Emperor Gene billions of years ago. Li Yao seemed to have seen everything, too. Or rather, the emperor’s last words had triggered the mysteries buried deep inside his gene pool.

In the blink of an eye, an incomparably dazzling sea of stars appeared in front of Li Yao’s eyes. Each and every one of them was resplendent and magnificent. They were incomparably large. Whether it was the stable state of the three-dimensional space or the super storm of the four-dimensional space, it was as if they were walking on flat ground. On these giant tungsten warships stood countless humans-not the ordinary humans of today, but rather the “True Human Beings” whose bodies were surrounded by electric arcs and energy networks. Their skin flickered with golden streaks and specks of silver brilliance.

Li Yao saw the human beings billions of years ago passing through the multiverse and studying the mysteries of the white dwarf and the neutron star, the black holes and the wormholes, and even the four-dimensional space. He saw them conquering bizarre civilizations one after another. Countless civilizations that looked like gods and devils were shivering in fear under the sabers of human beings and offering everything they had

-technology, wisdom, the form of social tissues, and even the gene map-all of which turned into complicated information streams that were then compressed and encrypted into the gene strands of human beings.

It meant that the civilization of mankind had turned into a dragon and swallowed the carbon-based civilizations one after another, becoming the ‘king of kings’ of the multiverse. As the gene strands grew longer and longer, the glory of mankind finally spread to almost every corner of the multiverse.

However,

The decline of prosperity was inevitable in history. However brilliant a civilization was created by mankind, it was inevitable that it would decline one day.

Presumably, the civilization of mankind billions of years ago encountered a ‘flood’ when it was at the peak of its power. It was utterly defeated by the flood and became a stray dog.

The history was unclear in the Supreme Emperor’s gene strands and had not been analyzed yet. Therefore, Li Yao could only see the broken, rusted fleets fleeing in panic in the sea of stars, only to be destroyed one by one.

Even so, the picture in front of Li Yao’s eyes alone was enough to set off ten thousand thunderclaps in the depths of Li Yao’s braincells. Every gene strand was ready to burst out.

“Such a splendid, marvelous, and unbelievable civilization of the primeval human beings! What—what is going on exactly?”.

Li Yao shouted crazily in his heart, As it turns out, the Supreme Emperor was not the hope to find the depths of the ancient relics when he was dying. He was born in this place in the first place. Maybe one of the laboratories inside the tower was his ‘home’!

W

“However, why is it like this? Even if the Pangu civilization wanted to produce human beings, it would have taken at most ten months for human beings to grow from life seeds to fetuses to croaks. Why did the Supreme Emperor give birth to them for three years and grow them into… such weird golden meatballs?

“Besides, he is still in the embryo state, yet he has awakened so many ancient memories and even grasped self-awareness and clear thinking that are comparable to that of an adult. That’s too unbelievable!

Li Yao thought quickly and thought of a possibility.

“Right. Just like Long Yangjun.

“Long Yangjun was a human warrior from the primeval era hundreds of thousands of years ago. But her genes and life seeds were extracted and condensed into an embryo. After hibernating in an unbelievable way for hundreds of thousands of years, she was born again.

“It must be noted that, when Long Yangjun was born more than a hundred years ago, the Nuwa warship was already empty. It was all thanks to the automated magical equipment that she was able to complete her modification. It is evident that the technology of gene reproduction and automation was very mature at that time, and it was very likely that it was passed on from the primeval relics. “Therefore, is it possible that the Supreme Emperor’s genes originated from the maker of the black wall billions of years ago? “Yes, that must be it!

“Is there any better way to unveil the mysteries of the primeval era and break the black wall that sealed the Pangu Universe than to ‘clone’a real maker of the black wall?

“The experts and scholars of the Pangu Civilization must’ve collected the genes of the makers of the black wall from the depths of the primeval relics. Maybe it was their dead bodies, maybe it was the blood that was sealed in certain magical equipment, or maybe it was the legacy left by the makers of the black wall.

“The technology of the modern human civilization is so advanced that two life seeds are enough to breed the next generation automatically. Since the Nuwa Clan in the primeval civilization was a natural-born expert in gene modification, a drop of the blood of the black wall maker is enough to replicate a brand-new one, which is not beyond the limits of technology.

“According to the description of the Supreme Emperor, the maker of the black wall seems to boast the ability to compress and embed the genes of countless carbon-based intelligent creatures in the universe into his own gene strands. Therefore, the Supreme Emperor’s embryo contains the information of countless super civilizations in the primeval era, including the creator of the black wall. It is not surprising that he has such sharp thinking and perception before he is fully born!

“As for the Pangu civilization being scared of his awakening… It was perfectly normal.

“Assuming that the civilization of mankind today wants to replicate a living member of the Pangu Clan or the Nuwa Clan, they must be very cautious and full of expectation, too.

Li Yao calmed himself down and continued reading the Supreme Emperor’s last words. “They… the ancient, carbon-based intelligent creatures were scared of my awakening, looked forward to my awakening, desired to make use of my abilities, and feared my abilities.

The gravekeeper continued, “They tried everything they could to stimulate me to unlock the unknown gene strands, hoping to fully analyze the secrets hidden in my gene strands. But they also refined all kinds of… things that could be called ‘marks’. They tried to seal and control me from both the genetic and the mental levels. They even tried to implant ‘bombs’ into my gene strands so that they could destroy me with the ‘genetic bombs’ when necessary.

“Of course, that was all in the future. I didn’t realize it until a long, long time later when I returned to this place and observed everything.

“At that time, I was just an ignorant embryo after all. I was not even an intelligent life in the truest sense of the word. I treated everything they imposed on me as an interesting game and had a great time playing it.

“Just like that, I grew up slowly. I grew bigger and bigger, and I had stronger and stronger abilities. When I was still sealed in the crystal tower, I could manipulate everything around me, including everything and… everyone.

An unbelievable picture appeared in front of Li Yao’s eyes again.

In the spacious laboratory, with the crystal tower where the embryo of the Supreme Emperor was stored as the center, all the experimental magical equipment and equipment nearby flew into the air unsteadily, as if they were dancing and colliding with invisible hands.

In the second picture, as the bright golden ball of meat bobbed up and down in the nutrition liquids, all the primeval crystal processors nearby were turned on and running at a high speed automatically. Three-dimensional light beams were projected, which were full of glamorous patterns that looked like the traces of the fleet of the ancient human beings when they passed through the four-dimensional space unstoppably.

In the third picture, the experiment equipment and the crystal processor were both safe and sound, but the dozens of researchers who were doing the research seemed to have been hypnotized. They stared at the Supreme Emperor’s embryo and mumbled to themselves. Their legs were shivering, as if they had lost their soul because of the suppression of the baby.

“My ability is getting stronger, and my consciousness and thinking are getting clearer. I can even communicate with the researchers who have the keenest senses.

The gravekeeper continued telling the story of the Supreme Emperor. “I even have a… friend who is the daughter of the supervisor of the laboratory. She is a minor member of the Nuwa Clan, and she is also a talented and excellent expert in genetic research.

A new picture appeared in front of Li Yao’s eyes.

In the messy laboratory, a young-looking Nuwa, who was only three to four meters tall, was crouching in front of the crystal tower where the embryo of the Supreme Emperor was sealed. She looked at the golden ball inside the crystal tower silently. There was not the slightest hint of the ‘dignity’ or ‘sacredness’ on her face. Instead, she looked like a human girl who was sometimes happy, sometimes innocent, sometimes sad, sometimes smiling, and sometimes excited.

“I learned a lot of things from my… friend and have a preliminary understanding about the universe we are in right now.

The gravekeeper’s tone suddenly turned gentler. But after the gentleness, it was even more frustrated. “At the very least, I know that I am not the only one who has been sealed. My friend and her compatriots have been sealed in the tiny ‘ancient relics’ far away from their real hometown, too. They’ve been fighting for their sacred mission for countless years, but the hope of them finding the place is still slim. There is no telling how long they will stay in this place. “My friend grew up in this place and the City of Silver. She never left the ancient relics and returned to her real hometown.

“I asked her why, but she only told me three words-isolation zone.

“I also want to exchange more information with her. What is the ‘isolation zone’? What is their mission? What are the pictures that keep flashing in the depths of my sea of consciousness? Can I be born with real hands, feet, and mobility like her? Why are the ‘adults’ other than her so scared of me? If they are scared of me, why did they create me and stimulate me?

“I had a lot of questions that I wanted to ask her, but her father, as well as the supervisor of the laboratory and the ‘manufacturing project’, did not like it when his daughter was alone with the weird meatball that was me. She was forced to leave the project when her father found out that she snuck into the laboratory during her non-research time. The ‘sealing’ and ‘punishment’ against me intensified, too.
