Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 989: The Acquisition of Resources and Power

The gentle morning light of the Isle of Whispering Petals pierced through the translucent silk curtains of Wang Jian’s private study, casting long, elegant shadows across the polished wooden floorboards. The room was a sanctuary of absolute silence, heavily warded against any prying eyes, auditory eavesdropping, or the sweeping divine senses of outside cultivators. Complex, interlocking runic arrays pulsed faintly along the walls, ensuring that whatever transpired within these four walls remained a permanent secret.

Wang Jian sat behind his massive, dark-wood desk, his demeanor having shifted entirely. The raw, primal beast of lust that had dominated the women of the Ice Heart Palace and completely shattered the Mistress of the Golden-Scale Auction House was momentarily suppressed. In its place sat the cold, incredibly calculating strategist and the absolute ruler of his rapidly expanding faction. His dark, starlit eyes were focused, his mind already churning through a thousand logistical variables.

The heavy oak doors of the study creaked open softly.

Shangguan Wan’er entered the room. She was dressed in a modest, high-collared, yet impeccably form-fitting merchant’s gown woven from deep blue spirit-silk. The fabric hugged her incredibly sexy, curvaceous figure, outlining her narrow waist and the heavy, abundant swell of her massive breasts without exposing bare skin. Her dark hair was neatly pinned, projecting an image of total professional competence.

However, beneath the expensive fabric, resting flush against the soft, very fair skin of her lower abdomen, the invisible Slave Seal thrummed with a faint, persistent warmth. It was a constant, inescapable reminder of her true, utterly subjugated nature. She was no longer a sovereign of commerce; she was a possession.

Shangguan Wan’er walked forward with measured steps, stopping precisely three paces away from the edge of his desk. She lowered her head respectfully, her pale blue eyes fixed on the floor.

“You summoned me, Master,” Shangguan Wan’er murmured, her voice smooth, respectful, and entirely stripped of her former arrogance.

“Miss Shangguan,” Wang Jian began, dispensing with the vulgarities and the physical degradations for the moment. He leaned back in his high-backed chair, intertwining his fingers. “It is time to put your vast, deeply entrenched network and your unparalleled mercantile expertise to practical use. We have played enough games of flesh. Now, we build an empire.”

He reached across the smooth surface of his desk and picked up several long, tightly rolled scrolls of parchment. He tossed them casually toward her.

Shangguan Wan’er caught the scrolls with deft hands.

“Unroll them,” Wang Jian instructed, his tone leaving absolutely no room for negotiation or failure. “I need you to utilize your secret, unmonitored channels within the Golden-Tide Consortium. You will acquire every single item listed on those parchments. I am specifically looking for the seeds, cuttings, or the raw root systems of extremely rare, hard-to-find medicinal herbs and spiritual plants. I also require the original recipes of rare medicinal pills and elixirs, along with a massive influx of rare, profound metals necessary for powerful spiritual artifact forging.”

Shangguan Wan’er unrolled the first scroll. Her sharp, professional eyes scanned the meticulous, elegant calligraphy. As her gaze darted down the long lists, her breath hitched slightly. She instantly recognized the immense, staggering value and the extreme, almost mythical rarity of the requested materials.

‘These are… these are the foundational components for high-tier Core Formation Realm pills, and peak-grade Earth-realm metals,’ Shangguan Wan’er thought, her brilliant mercantile mind immediately calculating the astronomical, mind-boggling costs involved in sourcing such items.

She saw requests for the Vermilion Bird’s Tear-Drop Fern, the Abyssal Frost-Wyrm Marrow-Root, and the Titan-Ape Bone-Refining Blossom.

‘But why does he only request the seeds and the roots?’ Shangguan Wan’er thought, her brow furrowing in genuine confusion. ‘Cultivators require fully mature herbs to concoct pills of this magnitude. It takes centuries, sometimes millennia, for a Titan-Ape Bone-Refining Blossom to absorb enough ambient earth Qi to become useful for alchemy. Buying seeds is completely useless for immediate power gains.’

She had absolutely no idea that Wang Jian possessed the Verdant Eternal Spring Essence—a profound, heaven-defying wood attribute ability with which he could rapidly boost and exponentially increase the growth rate of any plant life, easily cultivating seeds into thousand-year-old, mature herbs within a matter of mere hours. To him, buying seeds was infinitely cheaper and drew significantly less attention than buying legendary, mature treasures on the open market.

She unrolled the second scroll, her eyes scanning the list of armaments and raw ores.

“Master,” Shangguan Wan’er spoke up, her tone deeply respectful, completely willing to do whatever he asked but feeling the professional need to provide necessary logistical feedback. “Acquiring these specific metals… the Star-Core Iron and the Red Sea Gold… they are heavily monitored by the regional trade alliances. Furthermore, purchasing all of this in bulk will require liquidating a significant portion of the hidden, untraceable assets I established in Azure Cloud City.”

“The wealth you brought me from your primary treasury is more than sufficient to cover the costs. Spend whatever is necessary,” Wang Jian dismissed the concern with a casual wave of his hand. He prioritized raw, tangible cultivation resources and immediate combat power over hoarding shiny stones in a vault. “Wealth is merely a tool, Miss Shangguan. It is useless if it simply sits in the dark. Convert it into power.”

He leaned forward, his dark eyes locking onto hers. “I want to highlight the urgency regarding the Abyssal Frost-Wyrm Marrow-Root and the Solar-Flare Banyan Bark. These are extremely rare plants needed immediately by Mu Lianhua and Liu Ruyan. They are to concoct pills that can forcefully bypass standard cultivation bottlenecks for my core subordinates.”

Furthermore, he pointed to the second scroll in her hands.

“The Star-Core Iron and the Red Sea Gold are absolutely vital,” Wang Jian continued. “These incredibly dense, exotic metals are required for upgrading the powerful, individual lifebound weapons of my elite fighters. We are preparing for a paradigm shift in this sea region, and our blades must be sharper than those of the Myriad Ocean Palace.”

Shangguan Wan’er shivered slightly at the casual mention of challenging the supreme authority of the region. Yet, staring at the terrifying man behind the desk, she found herself believing he could actually accomplish it.

“You will use your most loyal, deeply brainwashed, and unquestioning servants back in Azure Cloud City to facilitate the physical transfers,” Wang Jian instructed, his mind sealing every logistical loophole. “Funnel the wealth through proxy accounts. Use the black market rings you secretly control. I want these materials moving constantly, arriving in staggered shipments so as not to trigger the Alliance’s automated economic alarms.”

His voice suddenly dropped into a dark, menacing whisper.

“And hear me well, Wan’er. You are strictly forbidden from ever revealing your true location. You will never hint, imply, or accidentally slip that you are currently residing on the Isle of Whispering Petals to anyone in your Consortium or your spy network. If my location is compromised…”

He didn’t need to finish the sentence. The invisible Slave Seal on her abdomen flared with a phantom, searing heat, causing her to gasp and clutch her stomach.

“I understand completely, Master,” Shangguan Wan’er promised hastily, bowing her head deeply. Her subservient nature, combined with her intrinsic desire to be a useful tool for him, made her incredibly eager to prove her worth. “I will manage the acquisitions flawlessly from the shadows. The Consortium will believe I am operating from a secure, hidden outpost, conducting a long-term acquisition campaign on their behalf. There will be no mistakes.”

“See that there are none,” Wang Jian stated. “You may begin immediately. The communication room in the eastern wing has been prepared for you.”

Over the next several weeks, the Isle of Whispering Petals transformed into a silent, heavily fortified nexus of illicit trade and massive resource accumulation.

Shangguan Wan’er operated relentlessly from a secure, heavily warded communication room located deep within Wang Jian’s stronghold. The room was lined with glowing spatial arrays and high-grade transmission talismans. Sitting behind a large, polished stone desk, she re-established contact with her most loyal, brainwashed retainers back in Azure Cloud City.

She was a maestro conducting a symphony of economic manipulation.

She skillfully, flawlessly manipulated the vast, complicated ledgers of the Golden-Scale Auction House from afar. She utilized encrypted codes and hidden fail-safes she had established decades ago, funneling massive, staggering amounts of untraceable wealth directly into the seedy underbelly of the black market to secure the requested items.

The Golden-Tide Consortium, completely oblivious to her brutal subjugation and the fact that their immense wealth was being siphoned away to fuel a rising demonic warlord, genuinely believed she was conducting a highly secretive, incredibly lucrative long-term acquisition campaign on their behalf. They did not question her encrypted orders; she was, after all, the recognized genius of their border operations.

Slowly but surely, the fruits of her labor began to manifest.

Shipments began arriving at the Isle of Whispering Petals. They did not come by prominent merchant vessels. They arrived via dead-drop locations scattered across uninhabited atolls, retrieved by Chen Ying’s shadowy deployments, and through specialized, untraceable, short-range teleportation arrays Wang Jian had meticulously constructed in the island’s subterranean caverns.

Rare herbs, glowing with potent, ancient spiritual energy, were unpacked from frost-jade stasis boxes. Sacks filled with thousands of seeds for the Titan-Ape Bone-Refining Blossom and the Nether-Yin Orchid were piled high. Heavy, reinforced crates filled with impossibly heavy, incredibly durable ingots of Star-Core Iron and shimmering, blood-red blocks of Red Sea Gold were smuggled into the sect’s underground vaults. The raw potential of the metals hummed with deadly intent, radiating a heavy, oppressive physical weight.

Wang Jian oversaw the arrival of the resources personally. He walked through the expanding, overflowing vaults, his dark, starlit eyes gleaming with profound satisfaction as his faction’s material wealth skyrocketed to entirely unprecedented levels.

‘She is a remarkably useful tool,’ Wang Jian thought, standing in the shadows of the communication room, silently watching Shangguan Wan’er coordinate a massive, highly complex shipment of profound-sea lotus roots with ruthless, administrative efficiency. Her beautiful face was illuminated by the soft blue light of the transmission array, her voice commanding and sharp as she directed her hidden servants. ‘She acquires items that even the major righteous sects struggle to find on the open, highly regulated market. Her logistical genius is unparalleled.’

However, Wang Jian was a predator who never allowed his tools to forget who held the leash. Efficiency did not excuse her from her primary role as his subjugated plaything.

One afternoon, Shangguan Wan’er was in the middle of a highly delicate, live talisman transmission with her chief retainer in Azure Cloud City. She was finalizing the route for a shipment of Red Sea Gold, her tone crisp and professional.

“Ensure the transport vessel bypasses the third sector entirely,” Shangguan Wan’er ordered, leaning over the stone desk, her hands planted firmly on the smooth surface. “The Alliance patrols have increased their frequency there. Route them through the jagged shoals.”

“Understood, Mistress,” the retainer’s voice crackled through the talisman. “Shall we proceed with the payment transfer for the—”

Suddenly, the heavy wooden door of the communication room locked with a resounding click.

Shangguan Wan’er jumped, her breath catching as Wang Jian stepped into the room. He didn’t say a word. He walked directly up behind her.

She tried to remain focused on the glowing talisman. “Y-Yes, proceed with the transfer,” she managed to say, her voice trembling slightly as she felt the immense, terrifying heat of his muscular body pressing against her back.

Wang Jian didn’t wait for her to finish the conversation. He reached down and roughly grabbed the hem of her modest blue merchant’s gown. With a single, fluid motion, he hiked the heavy fabric entirely up around her waist, completely exposing her bare, plump ass and her virgin pink pussy to the cool air of the room.

He unfastened his own trousers, freeing his massive, rock-hard dick.

Shangguan Wan’er’s eyes widened in absolute, sheer panic. The talisman was active. Her chief retainer was listening to every sound in the room.

“Mistress? Is everything alright?” the retainer asked, sensing the sudden pause.

Wang Jian gripped her wide, sexy hips firmly with his large hands. Without a single ounce of preparation, he thrust his hips violently forward, burying his thick, scorching shaft deep into her tight, wet passage in one brutal, relentless strike.

“Mmph!” Shangguan Wan’er slammed her hands over her own mouth, biting down hard on her palm to muffle the loud, desperate, lust-filled moan that threatened to tear from her throat. Her back arched violently, her massive breasts pressing flat against the cold stone of the communication desk.

“I… I am fine,” she forced the words out, her voice straining incredibly hard to sound normal, though it was breathy and tight. “I simply… dropped a ledger.”

Wang Jian grinned wickedly. He pulled his hips back and slammed into her again, setting a brutally fast, unforgiving rhythm.

SLAP! SQUELCH! SLAP!

The wet, echoing sounds of his pelvis colliding with her plump, jiggling ass filled the room.

“Mistress, the connection sounds unstable. I am hearing… strange impacts,” the retainer noted, completely oblivious to the absolute degradation occurring on the other end.

“It is… ah!… it is just the spatial interference from the new array,” Shangguan Wan’er gasped, tears of extreme panic and mind-melting pleasure streaming down her beautiful face. She was forced to muffle her desperate, high-pitched moans, her mind thrilling wildly at the extreme, terrifying risk of being discovered by her own subordinates while simultaneously melting under his relentless physical dominance.

Wang Jian pounded her right there on the communication desk. He didn’t care about the risk; he thrived on it. He reached around her torso, his large hands aggressively grabbing and squeezing her massive, heavy breasts, tweaking her hardened pink nipples mercilessly while he fucked her from behind.

“Finalize the transfer and… and close the connection!” she managed to squeak out, desperately cutting the flow of spiritual energy to the talisman.

The moment the blue light faded, she let out a loud, unrestrained scream of pure, absolute ecstasy.

“Ahhhhh! Master! Yes! Fuck me! Ruin me on the desk!” she shrieked, entirely abandoning her dignified facade, throwing her head back and grinding her plump ass eagerly against his driving hips.

Wang Jian did not stop. That singular, risky encounter was merely the beginning of a monumental, seventy-round marathon of absolute, unadulterated sexual debauchery.

Over the course of the next several hours, he completely dismantled her physical stamina. He fucked her over the desk until her knees gave out. He hauled her up and pinned her incredibly sexy, curvaceous body against the cold stone wall, lifting her legs and pounding her suspended in the air.

“You are nothing but my filthy, useful little whore,” Wang Jian growled, biting down hard on her neck, leaving deep, purple bruises across her very fair skin.

He forced her onto the floor, flipping her onto her back, and drove his massive dick into her dripping pussy over and over again. The room echoed with the sounds of their frantic coupling. He climaxed multiple times, flooding her womb with scorching torrents of his stellar seed, only to remain rock-hard and continue the assault.

Shangguan Wan’er was pushed far beyond the brink of sanity. She climaxed an astonishing, mind-boggling number of times. Her body convulsed and twitched with rolling, continuous orgasms. With every brutal thrust, with every agonizingly pleasurable smack to her reddened buttocks, she climaxed again. By the time Wang Jian hit round fifty, her vaginal walls were spasming so violently she could barely breathe, her mind entirely reduced to a puddle of primal, masochistic lust.

She wept, she begged, she cursed him, and she thanked him. When he finally pulled out after the seventieth round, leaving her a bruised, completely drained, semen-covered mess on the floor of the communication room, she was thoroughly, entirely addicted to the absolute power he wielded over her flesh.

While the Mistress of the Auction House recovered from her grueling, humiliating punishments, the continuous, massive influx of these high-tier resources created a massive surge of enthusiastic, frenetic energy throughout the upper echelons of the Fragrance Melody Sect.

Hua Yimei stood in the primary underground vault, surrounded by towering stacks of Star-Core Iron and crates overflowing with ancient, pulsing spiritual roots. She was absolutely astonished by the sheer volume of wealth. She realized, with a profound sense of awe and a touch of lingering fear, that Wang Jian’s ambitions stretched far, far beyond anything she could have ever conceived. He wasn’t just building a strong sect; he was building an empire capable of challenging the heavens.

The sect’s defensive perimeters were heavily, aggressively reinforced using the newly acquired metals. Wang Jian personally oversaw the integration of the Star-Core Iron into the island’s primary barrier arrays, transforming the Isle of Whispering Petals into a veritable, impenetrable fortress capable of withstanding massive, prolonged sieges from Nascent Soul level armadas.

He systematically, carefully distributed the raw materials, ensuring that his most loyal, powerful women received exactly what they needed to elevate their combat capabilities.

Deep within the secluded, heavily warded domain of the alchemy pavilion, the true transformation of raw resources into concentrated power was beginning.

Wang Jian personally delivered the requested, incredibly rare herbs and spiritual plants directly to the primary refining chamber, presenting them to the waiting, devoted master-disciple duo, Mu Lianhua and Liu Ruyan.

However, he did not hand them seeds or withered, dormant roots. Using his Verdant Eternal Spring Essence in complete secrecy, he had spent hours accelerating the growth cycles of the acquired plants.

He placed a massive, glowing, perfectly preserved specimen onto the central bronze table. It was a Vermilion Bird’s Tear-Drop Fern, its leaves pulsing with a terrifying, ambient heat, its root system thick and robust, radiating the undeniable, overwhelming aura of a plant that had absorbed heaven and earth Qi for over a millennium.

Mu Lianhua’s mature, incredibly sexy eyes widened in absolute, unadulterated professional shock and pure joy. She stumbled forward, her massive breasts heaving as she inspected the flawless specimen.

“Master… this… this is impossible!” Mu Lianhua gasped in sheer awe, her hands trembling as she hovered her fingers over the glowing leaves. “This is a thousand-year-old Vermilion Bird’s Tear-Drop Fern! I requested seeds… how did you procure a fully mature, flawless specimen? These are legendary ingredients! With these… I can concoct pills that directly, forcefully expand the spiritual sea and permanently fortify the meridians for Core Formation breakthroughs with a one hundred percent success rate!”

Liu Ruyan eagerly rushed forward, her youthful, voluptuous body practically vibrating with excitement. She rapidly cataloged the other exotic plants he pulled from his spatial ring—the Abyssal Frost-Wyrm Marrow-Root that radiated a bone-chilling mist, and the Solar-Flare Banyan Bark that felt warm to the touch. Her brilliant alchemical mind was already racing with the countless, revolutionary, paradigm-shifting pill recipes they could now experiment with.

Wang Jian smiled, keeping the secret of his wood-attribute prowess to himself. He reached into his robes and produced a stack of ancient, crumbling, heavily guarded parchment scrolls. He handed the pill recipes he had confiscated from Shangguan Wan’er’s treasury over to them.

“These will drastically expand your alchemical repertoire far beyond the region’s primitive, beast-core reliant standards,” Wang Jian stated, his tone commanding and absolute. “Do not sleep until you have processed the first batch of the Azure Phoenix Foundation Pill and the Crimson Spirit Marrow Pill. I want results. I want the overall, foundational strength of this sect to explode overnight.”

The two beautiful alchemists dropped to their knees, bowing deeply. Their devotion was fueled by a potent, intoxicating mixture of his overwhelming sexual dominance and the sheer, professional thrill of working with such priceless, legendary materials.

“We will not fail you, Master,” Mu Lianhua promised, her eyes shining with absolute determination.

Simultaneously, Wang Jian took the heavy, reinforced crates of Star-Core Iron and shimmering Red Sea Gold to the sect’s grand forge. It was an area he had personally, meticulously refitted with high-temperature arrays capable of melting even profound-sea alloys.

He summoned Chen Ying to the sweltering, roaring forge.

The assassin arrived silently, her dark stealth suit clinging tightly to her athletic, sexy curves.

“Draw your blade,” Wang Jian ordered.

Chen Ying drew the Phoenix Plume Shadow Sword.

“We are going to significantly upgrade your weapon,” Wang Jian told her, pulling a massive ingot of Star-Core Iron from the crate. “We will fold this Star-Core Iron directly into the steel, exponentially increasing its density and its ability to channel your Shadow-Wind Qi without fracturing.”

As they worked the bellows, the heavy, rhythmic ringing of hammers on anvils echoed loudly through the night. The intense heat of the forge caused sweat to glisten on Chen Ying’s very fair skin, highlighting the firm, perky curves of her breasts beneath her straps.

Wang Jian also began meticulously designing a customized, incredibly lethal magical treasure for Hua Yimei. He planned to forge a new set of zither strings interwoven with threads of Red Sea Gold, intending to flawlessly integrate the dense, highly conductive metals directly with her devastating Golden Phoenix Flame capabilities, creating a weapon of mass destruction.

The entire Isle of Whispering Petals transformed into a massive, humming hub of extreme, unprecedented productivity. Alchemical cauldrons roared with tri-colored fires, the heavy ringing of hammers echoed from the peaks, and the disciples trained with renewed, frantic fervor.

Wang Jian’s grand, over-arching strategic vision was coming to fruition. He was forcefully, systematically, and ruthlessly elevating his followers from a mere collection of broken, scattered cultivators into a terrifyingly well-equipped, highly disciplined, elite strike force.

He stood near the roaring fires of the forge, the heat washing over his flawless face. He knew that raw cultivation realms were only half the battle. Superior, devastating armaments and flawless, high-tier pill support were what truly determined the ultimate victor in the apocalyptic clashes between Nascent Soul level powers.

The acquisition phase was entirely, undeniably successful. The legendary resources were secured, the massive production lines were fully active, and the massive, unprecedented, unstoppable growth of his demonic faction was definitively underway.
