Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 840: Altan Starbrightʼs Usage of Laws

The golden energy erupted, engulfing the serene Gardens of Starlight in a blinding radiance. Altan Starbright descended like a celestial thunderbolt, his power crashing against Wang Jianʼs defenses with the force of a thousand suns. The array formations hummed to life, crystalline runes blazing, weaving a cage of celestial energy around the battlefield, amplifying Altanʼs already formidable strength.

Lyra watched from the sidelines, her starlight eyes wide with a mixture of fear and awe. She had never witnessed Altan unleash such raw power, such unrestrained fury. The sheer intensity of his aura was breathtaking, terrifying. But what truly shocked her was Wang Jian. The mysterious stranger stood his ground, unflinching, his silver hair flailing around him like a storm cloud against Altanʼs golden sun. He radiated an equally potent, though darker, energy, a chaotic force that seemed to push back against the very fabric of the Gardens.

Altan moved with blinding speed, a blur of golden light, launching a series of attacks that were both elegant and devastating. He channeled the laws of the Western Cosmos, wielding them with a mastery that was clearly innate, deeply ingrained. First came the ʼStarlight Saber Dance,ʼ a flurry of strikes imbued with pure stellar energy, each saber slash capable of cleaving through mountains of solidified starlight.

”Celestial Saber Slash!” Altan roared, his voice echoing through the Gardens, each word carrying the weight of cosmic authority. Golden sabers materialized around him, swirling like a vortex, then launched towards Wang Jian, leaving trails of shimmering light in their wake.

Wang Jian met the assault head-on, his movements fluid and economical, yet imbued with immense power. He didnʼt unleash any overtly demonic techniques, instead opting for a display of raw, primeval essence, channeling the very energies of the cosmos around him. He countered Altanʼs sabers with bursts of pure force, manipulating the law of ʼStrengthʼ to its absolute limit. Each punch he threw was a miniature explosion, shattering the starlight sabers into glittering dust before they could reach him.

”Impressive, for a mere traveler,” Altan sneered, his golden aura intensifying as his initial saber assault was effortlessly deflected. He transitioned seamlessly into his next attack, channeling the law of ʼFlameʼ of the Western Cosmos, a celestial fire that burned with the heat of a thousand suns, yet possessed a cool, ethereal quality. ”Then, taste the Celestial Flames of Judgment!”

Golden flames erupted around Altan, coalescing into a roaring fire dragon that lunged towards Wang Jian, its jaws snapping, its eyes burning with celestial fury. The heat radiating from the flames was immense, capable of vaporizing lesser beings instantly.

Wang Jian remained unfazed. He countered the celestial flames by manipulating the law of ʼSpace,ʼ creating spatial distortions, warping the very fabric of reality around him. The fire dragon, engulfed in these spatial anomalies, twisted and contorted, its fiery form losing cohesion, eventually dissipating into harmless wisps of golden smoke.

Lyra gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. Wang Jian was not just defending; he was countering Altanʼs most powerful attacks with an almost casual ease. She had never seen anyone withstand Altanʼs full power so directly, so effortlessly. Even the most powerful Godkings of other cosmoses would have been forced onto the defensive by now, yet Wang Jian seemed to be… enjoying himself.

”He… heʼs actually holding his own,” Lyra whispered, her voice filled with disbelief. She glanced at Yujia and Xinqiao, who stood calmly at the edge of the battlefield, their expressions serene, almost… confident. They seemed to have no doubt in Wang Jianʼs victory. It was unsettling.

Altan, too, was beginning to realize that this was no ordinary opponent. He pressed his attack, escalating the intensity, channeling more and more of his combined Starlord and Astral Spirit powers, drawing upon the very essence of the Western Cosmos. He unleashed the ʼAstral Spear of Piercing Light,ʼ a weapon of pure astral energy, capable of piercing through dimensions, imbued with the law of ʼSpearʼ and ʼLight.ʼ

”Astral Piercer!” Altan roared, launching the spear towards Wang Jian. The spear moved with impossible speed, leaving a trail of pure white light, aimed directly at Wang Jianʼs heart.

Wang Jian, however, seemed to anticipate the attack even before it was launched. He moved with a speed that defied perception, blurring into motion, dodging the Astral Spear with impossible agility. He manipulated the law of ʼSpeedʼ to enhance his movements, becoming a phantom, a blur of motion too fast for the eye to follow. The Astral Spear, though incredibly fast, pierced only empty air, narrowly missing Wang Jian as he danced around it.

”Impressive speed,” Altan acknowledged, his voice now laced with grudging respect, but also with a growing frustration. ”But speed alone will not be enough!” He channeled the law of ʼSwordʼ and ʼTimeʼ now, combining them into a devastating technique. ”Witness the Chronos Blade of Eternity!”

A blade of pure, solidified time materialized in Altanʼs hand, shimmering with temporal energy. He slashed outwards, unleashing a wave of chronal energy that distorted time itself, slowing it down, accelerating it, creating temporal anomalies around Wang Jian, attempting to trap him in a vortex of fractured time. The very air around Wang Jian shimmered and warped, time itself becoming his enemy.

Wang Jian, however, was not to be so easily ensnared. He countered Altanʼs temporal attack by manipulating the law of ʼTimeʼ itself, matching Altanʼs chronal distortion with his own, creating a localized zone of temporal neutrality around him, negating Altanʼs time-based attacks. He moved through the fractured time field as if it were still water, his movements unaffected, his speed undiminished.

Altanʼs frustration grew. He was throwing everything he had at Wang Jian, utilizing his full arsenal of Starlord and Astral Spirit abilities, amplified by the array formations and the very laws of the Western Cosmos, yet Wang Jian was not just surviving, he was… adapting, countering, even thriving. It was as if Wang Jian was learning, growing stronger with each attack, each exchange.

Lyra watched, her initial fear now replaced by a growing sense of bewilderment. This mysterious stranger, this demonic cultivator… he was not just powerful, he was… an anomaly. He was fighting Altan, her husband, the Starlord of Destiny, to a standstill, in the very heart of the Celestial Nexus, surrounded by Altanʼs power and the Western Cosmosʼs might. It was… unbelievable.

”Husband, are you alright?” Lyra called out, her voice filled with concern, but also with a hint of urgency. She felt a growing unease, a sense that the situation was slipping out of Altanʼs control.

”I am… fine, Lyra!” Altan responded, his voice strained, his golden aura flickering slightly, a sign of the immense effort he was exerting. ”Just… warming up! This demonic insect will soon learn the true power of the Western Cosmos!” He tried to sound confident, but Lyra detected a tremor of strain in his voice, a hint of desperation in his attacks.

Wang Jian chuckled, hearing Lyraʼs concerned question and Altanʼs strained response. ”Warming up, Starlord?” Wang Jian mocked, his voice casual, almost bored. ”Is that all youʼve got? For the ʼStarlord of Destiny,ʼ you are rather… underwhelming.” He glanced at Lyra, a crass smirk playing on his lips. ”Though I must say, Star Goddess, you are far more… captivating to watch than your husbandʼs pathetic display. Especially when you move like that. Those… assets of yours are quite distracting.” He leered at her breasts, his words deliberately vulgar, intended to provoke both Altan and Lyra.

Lyra gasped, her face flushing with anger and indignation. ”You… you vile creature!” she spat, her serene composure finally shattering completely. She channeled her own celestial energy, joining the fray, launching a wave of starlight energy towards Wang Jian, intending to assist Altan and punish Wang Jian for his crude insult. Lyra was not just a pretty face; she was a Star Goddess, a powerful being in her own right.

Wang Jian merely chuckled again, easily deflecting Lyraʼs starlight attack with a flick of his wrist, the energy dissipating harmlessly against his primeval essence aura. ”Ah, Star Goddess Lyra joins the dance,” Wang Jian mocked, his eyes now fixed on Lyra, his predatory gaze assessing her, undressing her with his eyes. ”Excellent. Perhaps this will become… more entertaining after all.”

Altan, enraged by Wang Jianʼs insults towards Lyra and his dismissive attitude towards his own power, roared in fury. ”You dare to insult my wife? You will pay for that with your life, demonic insect!” His golden aura flared to its maximum intensity, his Starlord and Astral Spirit powers surging within him, reaching a critical point.

A visible transformation began to occur. Altanʼs golden aura intensified, becoming almost blinding, his physical form shimmering, distorting. His golden hair seemed to lengthen, flowing around him like a celestial waterfall, each strand radiating pure starlight. His eyes blazed with astral fire, his features becoming more… ethereal, more divine. The fusion of his Starlord and Astral Spirit bloodlines was reaching its peak, unleashing a power that transcended his usual Godking level.

”Witness my true power, demonic filth!” Altan bellowed, his voice now resonating with a cosmic authority that sent shivers down Lyraʼs spine. ”Astral Starlord Ascendancy!”

Altan launched a series of attacks that were now on a completely different scale. Each punch he threw now carried the force to shatter a star, each kick could tear apart a nebula. The very fabric of the Gardens of Starlight began to tremble under the sheer intensity of his power. The array formations, though powerful, were struggling to contain the escalating energy levels.

”We should move this fight elsewhere, Starlord,” Wang Jian suggested, his voice still casual, almost conversational, despite the galaxy-shattering attacks being thrown at him. He continued to effortlessly dodge and deflect Altanʼs assaults, his movements now even more fluid, more economical, as if he was barely exerting himself. ”Unless you wish to see your precious ʼNexusʼ reduced to cosmic dust. After all, I rather like this star system. Quite a nice place to… settle down, once Iʼm done with you and your… wives.” He glanced at Lyra again, a suggestive smirk playing on his lips.

Altanʼs rage reached its boiling point. Wang Jianʼs words, his casual arrogance, his blatant disrespect for Lyra and the Celestial Nexus, ignited a fury within him that eclipsed even his strategic caution. He abandoned all restraint, all pretense of control, and unleashed his full, untamed power in a furious, desperate assault.

”You will die here, Wang Jian!” Altan roared, abandoning all semblance of strategy, charging towards Wang Jian in a blinding flash of golden light, his fists crackling with astral energy, his speed reaching near-instantaneous levels.

It was exactly what Wang Jian wanted. He had baited Altan, provoked him, pushed him into a state of uncontrolled rage. Now, it was time to end this charade. A dark smirk spread across Wang Jianʼs face, his silver hair flailing wildly, his blue eyes burning with demonic fire.

”Very well, Starlord,” Wang Jian said, his voice now resonating with a power that rivaled Altanʼs, a dark, chaotic energy that seemed to push back against the very light of the Western Cosmos. ”If you insist on a display of true power… then allow me to oblige.”

A profound transformation began to ripple through Wang Jianʼs form. His silver hair darkened, taking on a metallic sheen, his blue eyes intensified, burning with an inner inferno, morphing into serpentine slits. His demonic aura, previously subtly veiled, now erupted outwards in a torrent of chaotic energy, eclipsing even Altanʼs golden radiance. Scales, dark as midnight, began to form on his skin, his limbs lengthening, his body expanding, shifting, transforming. The air around him crackled with demonic power, the very laws of the Western Cosmos seeming to bend and warp in his presence.

”Behold,” Wang Jianʼs voice boomed, no longer casual, but resonating with primal power, a voice that seemed to shake the very foundations of the Gardens of Starlight. ”The Demonic Dragon Ascendant!”

Wang Jian, no longer just a demonic cultivator, but a being of pure, untamed demonic power, unleashed the full force of his transformed state. He moved with a speed that surpassed even Altanʼs transformed agility, his fist blurring into motion, carrying the weight of a collapsing galaxy.

He punched Altan.

It was a single, devastating blow, delivered with unimaginable power, amplified by Wang Jianʼs Demonic Dragon transformation and his mastery over the law of ʼStrength.ʼ The impact was cataclysmic. Altan, in his Astral Starlord Ascendancy form, empowered by the Western Cosmos itself, was sent flying backwards like a ragdoll, his golden aura shattering, his transformed state collapsing, his body hurtling through space, propelled by the sheer force of Wang Jianʼs punch.

Altan Starbright, the Starlord of Destiny, was sent hurtling out of the Gardens of Starlight, out of the Celestial Nexus… sent flying, by a single punch, into the inky blackness of intergalactic space, towards another galaxy, light years away. The Gardens of Starlight fell silent, the only sound the gentle hum of the crystalline flora, now strangely subdued, as if even the plants themselves were in shock at the sheer, overwhelming power that had just been unleashed. Lyra stood frozen, her starlight eyes wide with utter disbelief, staring at the empty space where her husband, the Starlord of Destiny, had just been… obliterated.
