Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 632  Celestial Maiden Yuqingʼs Worries

Meanwhile, Wang Jian strode through the opulent corridors of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion, his crimson eyes glinting with a calculating purpose. He reached the grand meeting hall, its intricate jade doors parting silently before him. Inside, two figures awaited him – Celestial Maiden Yuqing and Pavilion Mistress Cui Lan.

Celestial Maiden Yuqing, her golden hair adorned with a phoenix hairpin, exuded an aura of regal elegance. Her face, usually etched with worry lines, held a hint of relief now. Beside her stood Pavilion Mistress Cui Lan, a woman radiating a different kind of beauty – seductive and sharp-witted, her gaze as keen as a hawkʼs.

”Wang Jian,” Celestial Maiden Yuqing greeted him, her voice laced with a hint of urgency. ”Thank you for coming on such short notice.”

Cui Lan, her crimson lips curved in a tight smile, mirrored the sentiment. ”Indeed. Time is of the essence.”

The meeting began with a somber discussion. Recent reports confirmed that the remnants of the Devil Race, driven from their star by the combined forces of the Angel Race and the Heavenly Jade Pavilion, had formed an alliance with the local Devil Tribes.

This presented a new challenge. The Devil Tribes, notorious for their brutality and cunning, significantly bolstered the Devil Raceʼs numbers. However, the real concern was the potential for further alliances.

”Weʼve received intelligence,” Cui Lan began, her voice low and serious, ”that the Devil Race has approached several factions recently arrived in the Eastern Cosmos.”

”Factions?” Wang Jian echoed, raising an eyebrow. ”Which ones?”

”The Dragon Emperorʼs Palace, the Tyrannical Emperorʼs Dominion, and the Ghost Emperorʼs Astral Region – all from the Western Cosmos,” Celestial Maiden Yuqing elaborated. ”And from the Southern Cosmos, it seems theyʼve approached the Corrupt Dragon Clan.”

A flicker of understanding crossed Wang Jianʼs face. These factions were newcomers, outsiders in the ongoing power struggle between the Heavenly Jade Pavilion, the Angel Race, and the Devil Race. Their allegiances were yet to be declared.

”If these forces join the Devil Race,” Celestial Maiden Yuqing stated, her voice laced with concern, ”eradicating them will be a monumental task.”

Wang Jian remained calm, his gaze steady as he met hers. ”Their alliance with the Devil Race is highly unlikely,” he countered. ”These factions are driven by self-interest. They wonʼt align themselves with a losing cause.”

”And the Devil Race is a losing cause?” Cui Lan inquired, a hint of amusement in her tone.

Wang Jian leaned back in his chair, a sly smile playing on his lips. ”They are certainly at a disadvantage. The Angel Race is a force to be reckoned with, and the Heavenly Jade Pavilion stands unrivalled in the Eastern Cosmos. Siding with the Devil Race offers them nothing of value.”

”True,” Celestial Maiden Yuqing conceded. ”But a desperate alliance can be a dangerous for us.”

A confident smirk played on Wang Jianʼs lips. ”Rest assured, Celestial Maiden,” he reassured Yuqing, his voice laced with unwavering conviction. ”The combined might of the Heavenly Jade Pavilion and the Angel Race, along with our myriad allies, is more than enough to weather this storm. The Devil Race, the local tribes, and any desperate faction that joins them will ultimately crumble before our combined might.”

Yuqing visibly relaxed at his words, a wave of relief washing over her features. ”I must admit,” she confessed, ”a sliver of worry had crept into my heart. Despite our combined assault, we were unable to breach the barrier around their star.”

Pavilion Mistress Cui Lan chimed in, her voice sharp as a blade. ”The inability to breach the barrier,” she declared, ”stems from a miscalculation on our part. We underestimated the extent of the local Devil Tribesʼ support for the main force.”

A flicker of understanding crossed Yuqingʼs face. ”If we had anticipated their alliance, our strategy would have been vastly different.”

Wang Jian nodded in agreement. ”Indeed. Now that we are aware of their combined strength, we can formulate a plan to address this new challenge. Rest assured, I have a few strategies in mind.”

The meeting continued for another hour, the three strategizing and outlining their next steps. Finally, as the sun climbed higher in the sky, the meeting drew to a close.

As they walked out of the meeting hall, Yuqing turned to Wang Jian, a hint of concern in her voice. ”Speaking of Lu Rongʼer,” she began, ”I havenʼt seen her since yesterday. I went to her chambers, but she wasnʼt there.”

Wang Jianʼs heart skipped a beat, though his face remained a mask of practiced calm. Internally, a sly smile played on his lips. He knew exactly where her daughter was – sprawled on his bed, still recovering from the intense awakening process.

”Perhaps,” he offered, feigning concern, ”sheʼs seeking some fresh air or a quiet space to meditate. The encounter with the Devil General must have rattled her a bit.”

Yuqing readily accepted his explanation. After all, who would suspect their beloved daughter to be anywhere other than her own chambers? Little did she know, Lu Rongʼer had spent the entire night within the confines of his room, entangled in a web of emotions and newfound power.

With a relieved smile, Yuqing said goodbye and departed towards the Angel Raceʼs quarters. As she walked away, Wang Jian turned on his heel and headed back towards his own room.

Upon entering, he found Lu Rongʼer, a captivating vision draped in elegant silk robes, seated on the bed. Her eyes were closed, her silver hair cascading down her back like a waterfall of moonlight. She was evidently meditating, attempting to consolidate the immense power coursing through her new divine form.

A mischievous glint sparked in his eyes as he approached the bed. With a smooth, practiced motion, he settled down beside her, his presence causing her eyes to snap open. A wave of relief washed over her features as she recognized him.

”Master Wang,” she breathed, her voice laced with a hint of surprise.

A gentle smile touched his lips as he reached out and took her hand into his. His touch sent a tremor through her, a spark igniting within her core. The lingering effects of the Law of Love still danced beneath the surface, subtly fueling her attraction to him.

”Resting, Princess?” he inquired, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through her.

Lu Rongʼer nodded mutely, her gaze locked on their intertwined hands. The events of the previous night replayed in her mind, a whirlwind of confusion and desire. Shame still lingered, but it was overshadowed by a strange sense of exhilaration.

Sensing her turmoil, Wang Jian leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a seductive whisper. ”The awakening process is not yet complete, Princess,” he stated, his words carrying a double meaning. ”There is still much to be done.”

He then did something unexpected. With a gentle touch, he channeled his own Celestial Energy into her, infusing it with his guidance and control. This wasnʼt just about solidifying her newfound power; it was a subtle step further in his plan – to bind her to him on a deeper level.

As his energy flowed into her, Lu Rongʼer gasped. It felt different from the forceful way he had channeled his energy during the awakening process. This was… gentler, more intimate. It felt like a connection being forged, a bond deepening.

A shiver of anticipation ran down her spine. The line between gratitude, newfound power, and the intoxicating pull of Wang Jian continued to blur. She couldnʼt deny the strange sense of dependence blossoming within her, a yearning for his touch, his guidance.

Wang Jian maintained his calm facade, a slight furrow creasing his brow. ”There seems to be a lingering instability within your Divine Spark,” he declared, his voice devoid of any emotion. ”For a proper inspection, Princess, I need complete access to your celestial energy flow.”

Lu Rongʼerʼs heart hammered against her ribs. She knew this was a flimsy excuse. She had meticulously scanned her own body with her Divine Sense countless times throughout the night, and her Divine Spark burned bright and steady. Yet, a strange thrill coursed through her as she met his crimson eyes.

The Law of Love, though subtle, still played its part. It fueled a sense of obedience, a desire to please him. Shame battled with a strange sense of anticipation within her. Ignoring the voice of reason, she found herself nodding mutely.

With a trembling hand, she began to unfasten the silken robes that draped her form. Each layer removed revealed more of her exquisite beauty - smooth, flawless skin that shimmered with a celestial glow, and curves that would make even the most stoic cultivator falter.

As the last wisp of silk fell to the floor, Lu Rongʼer sat before him, exposed in all her vulnerability. Shame burned in her cheeks, but a strange sense of exhilaration bubbled beneath the surface. The way his gaze lingered on her naked form sent a jolt of electricity through her.

Wang Jianʼs face remained impassive, though a flicker of something akin to amusement danced in his eyes. He slowly extended his hand, his touch cool against her heated skin. The pretense of inspecting her Divine Spark was a farce. His fingers, imbued with Celestial Energy, traced languid circles around her shoulders, sending shivers down her spine.

”Here,” he murmured, his voice a husky caress, as he brushed his fingertips against the base of her slender neck, a spot where the celestial energy flowed particularly strong. ”There seems to be a blockage here. Perhaps a residual effect from the battle with the Devil General.”

His touch lingered longer than necessary, sending a spark of desire igniting within her. Shame burned even hotter, but she found herself unable to tear her gaze away from his face.

He continued his ”inspection,” his hands roaming across her celestial form with calculated precision. Every touch was deliberate, every caress a calculated exploration. He brushed against the soft peaks of her breasts, lingered on the curve of her hips, sending shivers cascading down her spine.

Lu Rongʼer, caught in the whirlwind of emotions, gasped softly. The Law of Love may have woven its initial spell, but it was her own burgeoning desire that fueled her response now. She craved his touch, his approval, even as shame continued to gnaw at her conscience.

”The instability seems to be concentrated here as well,” he declared, his voice dropping to a seductive whisper as his hand grazed the sensitive bud between her thighs. His touch was light, almost teasing, yet it ignited a fire within her that threatened to consume her.

A whimper escaped her lips, a sound that was both a plea and a surrender. This wasnʼt a cultivation session, not anymore. This was a game of power and seduction, a twisted dance where the lines between training and desire had blurred beyond recognition.
