Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 245 Domino Effect

The news of the Lotus Blossom Sect severing its alliance with Second Princess Wang Ying and pledging allegiance to Seventh Prince Wang Jianʼs faction reverberated throughout the vast expanse of the Empire, leaving everyone astonished and intrigued.

Whispers of this momentous shift in power echoed through the streets and corridors of the Empire, captivating the attention of all who heard.

The mere thought of such a significant realignment sent shockwaves of speculation through the hearts and minds of the people.

But that was not the only astonishing tidbit of information that spread like wildfire. It was revealed that a daring individual had fearlessly targeted the church itself, demanding the release of the captive Saintess, Hong Meilin.

The audacity of such an act left the masses in awe, as they grappled with the realization that someone had the sheer audacity to challenge the seemingly invincible institution.

As the truth unraveled, the identity of the three Emperor Realm experts behind this audacious act became known.

One of them was an anonymous mask wearing expert firmly aligned with Wang Jianʼs faction, while the other two hailed from the Lotus Blossom Sect, which had now aligned itself with the Seventh Prince.

Utilizing the rare and highly sought-after Ebon Void Essence Ores, Wang Jian skillfully constructed a teleportation formation that connected his faction with the Lotus Blossom Sect.

The sheer revelation of possessing such a precious resource left Yue Yanling and the Grand Elder in a state of awe-struck disbelief.

Their conviction in their choice to align themselves with Wang Jianʼs faction grew stronger with each passing moment.

However, it was not without its challenges. Joining Wang Jianʼs faction came with its fair share of disadvantages, as the Lotus Blossom Sect found itself embroiled in a conflict against three formidable factions.

Foremost among them was the Crown Prince Wang Haoʼs faction, which boasted extensive support from numerous influential clans, sects, and associations.

The church, a powerful entity in its own right, posed the second most dangerous threat.

The faction led by Wang Ying, on the other hand, paled in comparison to the others in terms of strength and posed a comparatively weaker challenge.

The rapid decline of Wang Yingʼs faction, following the loss of support from the Lotus Blossom Sect, triggered a domino effect.

Many clans, associations, and smaller sects quickly severed their alliances with Wang Yingʼs faction, opting instead to align themselves with either Wang Jianʼs or Wang Haoʼs factions.

Their choices were driven by the desire to stand with the winning side, to back the faction they believed would emerge victorious in the upcoming battle.

As for Wang Chenʼs faction, its existence remained shrouded in mystery, concealed beneath the surface.

It was as if Wang Chen had vanished into the depths, leaving behind an air of uncertainty and intrigue surrounding his factionʼs whereabouts and intentions.

Despite being targeted by three factions, Wang Jianʼs business empire, the Elysian Blossoms Organization, led by Lady Xia, thrived as it expanded its reach in the market of beauty products.

Simultaneously, the religion that was now under the management of Han Xifeng and Hong Meilin experienced remarkable growth.

The research on the highly coveted Ebon Void Essence Ore progressed steadily. The brilliant minds of the Liu Family dedicated their efforts to this endeavor, and they relayed an exciting message to Wang Jian from the Sacred Dominion— they were on the cusp of creating a prototype that met the majority of Wang Jianʼs requirements.

When Wang Jian received this news, he was filled with a sense of surprise and anticipation, eager to learn more about the progress of the prototype.

Presently, Wang Jian found himself in the comfort of his palace, where his three wives, Su Xian, Fen Shuying, and Chen Yiyan, attended to him with massages.

The group led by Su Xian had expanded to include 200 formidable women, all at the peak of Lord Realm experts. Assigned daily missions by Su Xian, these women gained invaluable experience and prestige within Wang Jianʼs faction.

Fen Shuying, with her Night Dagger Clan, formed strategic alliances with Kang Huianʼs Crimson Mammoth Tribe, mercenary groups, clans, and other sects.

Their collective effort aimed to protect Wang Jianʼs faction from the threats posed by Wang Haoʼs faction, Wang Yingʼs faction, and the formidable church.

Meanwhile, Chen Yiyan, utilizing her upbringing as a princess, took charge of meeting with envoys from various clans and associations who sought to pledge allegiance to Wang Jianʼs faction.

Her negotiation skills honed by her teachers proved invaluable, and Chen Yiyan excelled in her role, impressing everyone with her exceptional performance.

”So, what should we do next? Any ideas?” Wang Jian pondered aloud, eager to hear the insights of his wives.

Su Xian, always pragmatic, was the first to respond. ”While our faction has grown stronger, our enemies have intensified their targeting of us. I believe our focus should be on pacifying one of them, gaining some respite.”

Fen Shuying chimed in with her calm voice, ”Fortunately, the involvement of Emperor Realm experts is prohibited in faction conflicts. This limitation has spared us from potentially insurmountable challenges.”

Chen Yiyan, known for her diplomatic acumen, concluded the discussion. ”While it may be impossible to sway Crown Prince Wang Hao or the Church, there might be an opportunity to form an alliance with Second Princess Wang Yingʼs faction. With her faction losing support day by day, it is likely to disband eventually. By taking the initiative, we can establish a mutually beneficial alliance.”

As Wang Jian absorbed their perspectives, he closed his eyes briefly, deep in thought. He held his own unique perspective on the unfolding situation.

”The investigation into the anonymous expert aligned with my faction has likely commenced. Well, itʼs not like they can ever discover any substantial evidence,” Wang Jian remarked nonchalantly, shrugging off any concern.

”Alright. Letʼs proceed with Yiyanʼs suggestion. I will have a meeting with my sister,” Wang Jian stated calmly, setting his plan into motion.

As the day drew to a close, a shocking event unfolded in the Empire, sending shockwaves through every faction. News spread like wildfire, revealing the presence of devils in the western region. What made it even more alarming was the seemingly endless horde of demons, ranging from lower-ranked creatures to powerful devils hailing from esteemed devil clans.

This assault involved not only Lord Realm and King Realm demons but also Emperor Realm demons. Among the attackers were Ye Chen and the Devil Princess Zyrithia, leading their respective devil clans.

Zyrithiaʼs Nether Curseweaver Devil Clan had joined forces with the Oceanic Tempest Storm Devil Clan, thanks to her alliance with Ye Chen, who possessed the bloodline of the Storm Devil God—an ancestral figure revered by the Oceanic Tempest Storm Devil Clan.

With the authority granted by his bloodline, Ye Chen commanded the respect and obedience of the Oceanic Tempest Storm Devil Clan, making their collaboration in this assault a seamless endeavor.

Prior to the battle, Ye Chen utilized the rare resources of the clan, absorbing the knowledge and abilities contained within the spiritual imprint of the Storm Devil God—an inheritance that elevated his insights in the Storm Element to its pinnacle.

Furthermore, Ye Chen had been bestowed with potent elixirs that pushed his cultivation to the peak of the King Realm. To bolster his already formidable arsenal, he was equipped with powerful talismans and weapons of immense strength.

The sudden emergence of the devil threat sent shockwaves rippling throughout the Empire, igniting a sense of fear and uncertainty in the hearts of its people.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the Emperor swiftly organized a council meeting, urgently summoning the members of his trusted advisory board.

In a display of unified strength, the Imperial Degree was issued to all factions, including the Royal Family, commanding them to set aside their internal conflicts and direct their undivided attention towards this imminent devil invasion.

Even the Church, with its own ambitions and agendas, had no choice but to heed the Emperorʼs decree. The Pope, understanding the consequences of defying the Imperial order, reluctantly acquiesced, knowing that any further aggression towards Wang Jianʼs faction would only invite the Emperorʼs wrath upon him.

Meanwhile, Wang Jian wasted no time in gathering his forces, mustering his loyal warriors, and strategizing for the impending battle against the devils. He knew that this would be a crucial moment that would test the strength and unity of his faction.

Similarly, Wang Hao and Wang Ying, recognizing the gravity of the situation, mobilized their respective factions, realizing that they too must gather the strength of their entire faction if they wanted to play a part in the outcome of this perilous conflict.

As the plans were set in motion, a thunderous presence emerged from the heart of the Empire. It was the Emperor himself, shrouded in a radiant aura of golden light, flew towards the western region to confront these nefarious devils!

As the preeminent expert in the Empire, his plan was elegant in its simplicity – to eradicate the Emperor Realm devils that had dared to encroach upon his region.
