Harem Master: Seduction System

Chapter 62: Attacking The Farrow Family

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm, golden light over the sprawling Steele estate. The study, filled with the scent of aged parchment and ink, was bathed in the soft amber glow of the setting sun. Lyra sat at her desk, her head bent over a piece of parchment, the quill in her hand gliding smoothly as she drafted a formal letter. Across from her, Alaric leaned against the desk, arms crossed, his gaze steady and thoughtful.

”You sure about this, Mother?” Alaric’s voice broke the silence, steady but laced with an undertone of caution. ”It’s a bold move, even for us.”

Lyra paused, lifting her gaze to meet her son’s. Her emerald eyes, so often a well of warmth and wisdom, now gleamed with determination. ”Boldness is exactly what’s needed, Alaric,” she said, her voice resolute. ”The Farrows have meddled for too long. They’ve forced our hand, and now it’s time we showed them what the Steele Family is capable of.”

Alaric raised an eyebrow, his lips quirking into a half-smile. ”And you think the Royal Court will just go along with this plan? They’re not exactly known for their goodwill.”

A sly smile played on Lyra’s lips. ”They will if they know what’s good for them. The Royal Family is smart enough to recognize the value of their most gifted magical prodigy.” She gave him a knowing look. ”You might not like it, but your reputation is a powerful bargaining chip.”

Alaric chuckled, the sound low and rich. ”Ah, so I’m a pawn in your grand scheme now?”

”Not a pawn,” Lyra replied smoothly, her tone teasing. ”A knight. Maybe even a king. Besides, it’s not a lie. You’re the most talented mage this kingdom has seen in decades. They’d be fools to risk offending you.”

”Flattery will get you everywhere, Mother,” Alaric said with a grin, though his eyes betrayed his amusement. He pushed off the desk and moved to stand behind her, peering over her shoulder at the letter. ”Fine. But if this backfires, I’ll make sure the blame lands squarely on you.”

Lyra laughed, a bright, musical sound that filled the study with warmth. ”Deal. Now, let me finish this before you talk me out of it.”

She dipped her quill into the inkwell and continued writing, her hand steady and elegant. Alaric watched her, his expression softening as he admired her poise.

[

To the esteemed members of the Royal Court,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I, Alaric Steele, write to you today with a matter of great importance. The recent treachery of the Farrow Family has left a stain on our kingdom, one that must be dealt with swiftly and decisively.

The Steele Family is prepared to take on the responsibility of ensuring that the Farrows pay for their crimes. We propose that all members of the Farrow Family be imprisoned, and those who resist be dealt with accordingly. We believe this action will serve as a deterrent to any who might consider betraying our great kingdom in the future.

We humbly request your support in this matter, as a favor to me, Alaric Steele. I am confident that our combined efforts will bring swift justice to the Farrows and restore peace to our lands.

Sincerely,

Alaric Steele

Lyra set the quill down and leaned back in her chair, letting out a soft sigh of satisfaction. ”There. That should do it.”

Alaric picked up the letter, scanning its contents with a critical eye. ”It’s convincing,” he admitted, nodding slowly. ”Though you might be overselling my importance a bit.”

Lyra arched an eyebrow. ”Nonsense. You’re the crown jewel of the Steele Family and the most prodigious magical talent of the entire Kingdom. They’d be fools not to recognize your value.”

Shaking his head, Alaric handed the letter back to her. ”Fine. Let’s hope they see it your way.”

Lyra folded the parchment carefully and sealed it with the Steele crest, the warm wax bearing the imprint of their family’s sigil. ”They will,” she said confidently. ”Trust me.”

The next few days passed in a blur of preparation and anticipation.

Alaric spent his mornings training with the estate guards, pushing himself harder than usual to channel the restless energy buzzing within him

In the afternoons, he joined Lyra in managing estate affairs, their conversations often circling back to the Farrows and the impending response from the Royal Court.

By evening, Alaric would retreat to his study, poring over maps and reports, analyzing every potential outcome.

The tension in the Steele manor was palpable. Even the staff moved with an air of quiet efficiency, sensing the gravity of the situation.

On the fourth day, Alaric was sparring with a guard in the courtyard, his movements sharp and fluid as his blade clashed against his opponent’s. The steady rhythm of metal on metal was broken by the sudden clatter of hooves on stone. A messenger on horseback galloped into the courtyard, his mount’s flanks glistening with sweat.

Alaric lowered his sword, stepping back as the guard saluted him. The messenger dismounted, clutching a scroll sealed with the royal crest. Without a word, he hurried past Alaric and into the manor.

Moments later, Lyra appeared in the doorway, her green eyes alight with excitement. ”Alaric!” she called, waving the scroll in her hand. ”The court has responded!”

Alaric sheathed his sword and strode over to her, his heart pounding with anticipation. ”And? What do they say?”

Lyra unfurled the scroll, her voice brimming with triumph as she read aloud. ”They’ve agreed to our proposal! The Royal Court has officially endorsed our plan to deal with the Farrows. They’re even sending Enforcement Members and soldiers to assist us.”

Relief washed over Alaric, though he kept his expression measured. ”That’s a good start. But we need to be careful. The court might try to claim the Farrows’ assets for themselves.”

Lyra’s smile faltered slightly, her brow furrowing in thought. ”You’re right. We need to ensure the Steele Family benefits from this—not just the crown.”

”Exactly,” Alaric said, nodding. ”Our first priority should be containment. We can’t let any members of the Farrow Family escape. If even one of them slips through, they’ll come back for revenge.”

Lyra’s eyes widened, her mind already racing. ”Then we need to act quickly. We’ll block all routes and tighten inspections.”

Alaric placed a hand on her shoulder, his voice calm but firm. ”Send letters to the neighboring noble families. Ask them to close their borders and inspect all caravans, goods, and carriages. We can’t leave anything to chance.”

Lyra nodded, her determination renewed. ”I’ll handle it immediately. This is our moment, Alaric. We can’t afford to falter.”

She hurried back into the manor, her skirts swishing around her as she moved. Alaric watched her go, a sense of pride swelling in his chest. His mother was a force to be reckoned with, and he was glad to have her on his side.

Inside the study, Lyra worked with swift precision. She penned each letter with sharp, deliberate strokes, sealing them with wax and the Steele crest. When the final letter was tied to a messenger bird, she watched the creature take flight, its wings cutting through the crisp autumn air. A small smile played on her lips. She could already imagine Edgar Farrow’s smug confidence crumbling when he realized his escape routes were blocked.

But Edgar was no fool. Even as Lyra prepared for the assault, Edgar had begun securing his own contingency plans.

Several of his children—those not widely recognized or connected to his name—had already been spirited away to distant allies.

Trusted friends, whose loyalty was rooted in shared greed and blackmail, had taken the children in.

Oddly, Edgar had made no arrangements to send away his harem, a collection of breathtaking women whose beauty had earned him as much envy as enemies. He refused to risk placing them in the care of his ”friends.”

Experience had taught him that men, no matter how loyal, were often weak when faced with temptation. So, his wives and mistresses remained under his watchful eye, hidden within the Farrow estate.

Three days later, the Steele estate was a flurry of activity. Soldiers and martialists milled about, their armor and weapons glinting in the sunlight. The Enforcement Members and soldiers sent by the Royal Court had arrived, their banners flying high. Lyra stood in the courtyard, her eyes scanning the assembled forces, a look of satisfaction on her face.

Alaric stood beside her, his expression calm and collected. Behind them, a grand carriage awaited, its polished wood and gleaming brass fittings a testament to the Steele Family’s wealth and status. Alaric’s private carriage, pulled by four beautiful white horses, stood nearby.

Kara, Alaric’s personal maid, stood by the carriage, her sexy maid outfit hugging her curves in all the right places.

Her dark hair was pulled back into a loose bun, a few tendrils framing her face. Her brown eyes lit up as she saw Alaric approaching, a soft smile playing on her lips.

”Ready to go, young master?” she asked, her voice soft and sultry.

Alaric nodded, his eyes roaming over her voluptuous figure. ”Ready as I’ll ever be.”

He climbed into the carriage, Kara following close behind. As the carriage lurched forward, Alaric couldn’t help but admire Kara’s sexy body. Her large breasts strained against the fabric of her maid outfit, her cleavage tantalizingly on display. Her skirt was short, revealing her shapely legs and a hint of her lovely buttocks.

Kara noticed his gaze and smiled, a playful glint in her eyes. ”Like what you see, young master?”

Alaric grinned, a mischievous look in his eyes. ”Very much. You know, this journey might be long and boring. I think I need some entertainment.”

Kara’s smile widened, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. ”And what kind of entertainment did you have in mind, young master?”

Alaric reached out, his fingers tracing the curve of her waist. ”Oh, I think you know exactly what I have in mind.”

Kara giggled, a sound like music to his ears. She moved closer, her body pressing against his. ”And what if I told you I was more than happy to oblige, young master?”

Alaric’s grin turned devilish. ”Then I’d say you’re in for a very enjoyable ride.”

As the carriage rolled along the countryside, Alaric lost himself in the pleasures of Kara’s body. His hands roamed over her curves, his fingers tracing the soft skin of her thighs, the swell of her breasts. Kara moaned softly, her body responding to his touch, her breath coming in ragged gasps.

Alaric slipped a hand between her legs, his fingers finding her already wet and ready. He teased her gently, his finger circling her clit, making her moan and buck against his hand. He slipped a finger inside her, then another, his movements slow and deliberate.

Kara gasped, her body trembling with need. ”Young master... please...”

Alaric smiled, a dark, devious grin. ”Please what, Kara? Tell me what you want.”

Kara looked at him, her eyes filled with desire. ”I want you, young master. I want you to take me, to make me yours.”

Alaric’s smile widened, his eyes gleaming with lust. ”As you wish, my dear Kara.”

He flipped her onto her back, his body covering hers. He captured her lips in a searing kiss, his tongue exploring her mouth, his hands roaming over her body. He pulled back slightly, his eyes locked onto hers.

”This body of yours is all mine,” he murmured, his voice low and possessive. ”All mine.”

Kara nodded, her eyes filled with devotion and love. ”Yes, young master. All yours.”

As the carriage continued its journey, Alaric lost himself in Kara’s embrace, his body finding solace and pleasure in her touch.

He brought her to the edge of ecstasy again and again, her cries of pleasure filling the carriage.

He enjoyed her body thoroughly, his hands and mouth exploring every inch of her, his fingers buried deep inside her.

Kara came dozens of times during the journey, her body convulsing with pleasure, her cries of ecstasy echoing through the carriage. Alaric watched her, a satisfied smile on his lips, his body aching with need.

As they neared the Farrow estate, Alaric reluctantly pulled away from Kara, his body still humming with pleasure. He helped her straighten her clothes, his fingers lingering on her skin, his eyes filled with promise.

”We’ll continue this later,” he murmured, his voice low and husky.

Kara smiled, her eyes filled with anticipation. ”I look forward to it, young master.”

As the carriage came to a halt, Alaric stepped out, his body still tingling with the remnants of pleasure.

The imposing gates of the Farrow estate loomed ahead, their intricate ironwork a testament to the family’s former grandeur. Alaric stepped out of the carriage, his expression hardening as he took in the scene before him. Soldiers and Enforcement Members were already spreading out, their movements precise and disciplined.

Lyra approached, her emerald dress catching the light as she moved with an air of authority. ”The estate is well-guarded,” she said, her voice crisp. ”But we have the numbers and the strategy to take it.”

Alaric nodded. ”Have the surrounding routes been secured?”

”They have,” she confirmed. ”No one leaves this estate without our permission. The Farrows are cornered.”

”Good.” He adjusted his gloves, his jaw tightening. ”Let’s finish this.”

Together, they led the soldiers and Enforcement Members towards the Farrow estate, their steps echoing with purpose. The grand doors of the estate stood before them, a symbol of the Farrows’ former glory. But that glory was about to crumble.

As they entered the estate, they were met with chaos. Servants scurried about, their faces pale with fear. Soldiers loyal to the Farrows stood guard, their expressions grim but determined. Lyra looked at Alaric, her eyes filled with resolve.

”Remember, Alaric. We need to prevent any of them from escaping.”

Alaric nodded, his mind already racing with plans. ”I’ll take care of it, Mother. You focus on securing the estate.”

Lyra nodded, her eyes gleaming with determination. ”Let’s bring the Farrows to justice.”

As they moved through the estate, Alaric couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The Farrows had underestimated the Steele Family, and now they would pay the price.
