Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 2162: The Power Of The Divine Weredragon Lineage

-----

My body changed in an instant. I suddenly regained my previous size from before I had turned into a fairy. My fairy wings and longer ears did not disappear. Instead, they transformed along with my new Weredragon lineage, adapting perfectly to the sudden surge of power.

Red scales appeared across my ears, which lengthened and turned into small dragon-like wings. My fairy wings became true dragon wings as well, translucent and similar to the wings of Pixie Dragons, yet far stronger and edged with faint trails of heat.

Ding!

”Hah...”

A fierce smile escaped my face as I looked at the gigantic beast standing before me. Its single azure eye was wide with shock now that its weapon had disappeared into nothingness.

”Let’s fight then. I wanted to warm up and clear my mind from all this damn nonsense!” I roared, my voice deeper and layered with draconic power. ”Lara, are you okay?”

”Y-Yes! Thank you, Sylphy! Wow, I really lowered my guard!” she chuckled, still a bit shaken but smiling. ”The Spirits were protecting me though.”

”Oh!” I gasped as I noticed a protective barrier formed tightly around her. Thousands of tiny spirits floated around her body in a swirling cloud of light and shielded her from every direction. It was truly incredible how quickly they had reacted. ”I guess I misjudged the situation then... Nonetheless.”

”GRAAAAHHHH!”

”OOOOHHHH!”

”GRUUOOHHH!”

The other Cyclops roared in fury and attacked us from every angle at once. Heavy footsteps shook the ground as massive fists and clubs came swinging toward us with enough force to crush stone.

They were a massive family of over twelve members, completely insane in both size and numbers. Each one stood taller than most buildings, their single eyes glowing with murderous intent as they closed in.

But so what?

We were a massive family as well!

RUMBLE!

I leaped high into the skies without hesitation. An explosion of pure flames surged from my feet as my fully transformed Weredragon body unleashed its newfound power. Heat rippled through the air around me, and the ground below cracked from the force of my takeoff.

From several scales across my body, pillars of roaring flames erupted outward as I swung my claws in wide, devastating arcs.

”Blazing Dragon Rampage!”

I roared while channeling the power of the Techniques and Martial Arts integrated into the Skill, almost as if a new Soul had suddenly possessed my body and guided every movement with perfect precision.

CRAAASH!

RUMBLE!

BOOOMMM!!!

A gigantic explosion of flames erupted across the battlefield. Waves of fire and shock force tore through the air, lighting up the entire area in brilliant crimson and gold. The enormous Cyclops Patriarch took the blow with a sneer, his tough skin smoking but unbroken, and immediately swung his massive fist toward me with terrifying speed.

CRAAASH!

Another violent explosion of flames erupted the moment our fists collided in midair. The shockwave ripped outward in a blazing wave, scorching the frozen ground far below and sending shards of ice flying in every direction.

Wow. This bastard was tough.

The reason was obvious the moment I looked closer. Translucent rainbow crystals covered large portions of his scalp and back, pulsing with an eerie inner light that seemed to drink in the surrounding cold.

”Sylphy! This is unprecedented!” my companion’s voice rang out with clear alarm. ”I detected large quantities of divine power within this monster! I cannot believe it! They have consumed and assimilated the divine dust left behind by Dimenion and... grown into divine beasts?! Or at least pseudo-divine beasts!”

”Yeah. Otherwise this son of a bitch would have exploded into tiny pieces already. I know,” I nodded with a sharp sneer, never taking my eyes off the towering creature. ”Alright, big boy. Come to me. Let’s see how tough you really are!”

”UNGAAAAHHHHH!”

The Frost Cyclops Patriarch answered with a deafening roar that shook the very air. His base power as a Tier 8 Monster already placed him far above most ordinary threats—a terrifying, country-wiping level of strength on its own.

Yet the divine crystals growing across his body pushed him even higher. They amplified every ounce of his power, allowing him to break past previous limits and reach completely new heights of destruction.

It was only natural that the monsters living closest to the earlier incident would be the most affected. They had been the first ones to mutate after bathing in the leftover divine residue.

I charged across the skies without hesitation. The Patriarch leaped upward to meet me, his massive form suddenly lifting into the air as divine frost energy swirled around him. In the next instant he summoned a raging storm of razor-sharp ice and hurled it straight toward me.

I roared in answer and began unleashing countless flaming meteors—

”Origin Ember Magic: Logi!”

FLUOSH!

Suddenly, from deep within my latent divine power, a giant figure erupted into existence. It was forged entirely from roaring flames and took the form of some kind of guardian spirit standing protectively inside my aura.

”Woah!”

I was completely shocked. My theory had proven right after all.

My Skills were damn alive!

And Logi was...

”BWAHAHAHAHA! About time you called me, young reincarnation goddess!” the flaming giant laughed with booming delight. ”The moment you fell into the Sea of Stars, I saw the opportunity and took it! I once was a famous warrior from a world known as Yggdrasil. Now I am merely a husk of my former self. I took that power and made it my own. I became part of you!”

”W-Woah...” I managed to nod while staring at him. His enormous muscular arms, made of pure blazing fire, moved on their own with eager strength.

”Now, what do we have here? Hmmm?” Logi turned his fiery gaze upon the enemy and let out another thunderous laugh. ”Ah, a Frost Giant! My stern enemies! Fire Giants and Ice Giants—Eternal Foes!”
