Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1935: The Final Clash, Who Wins?

-----

”Golden Soaring Phoenix Style.”

”The First Form.”

”Blazing Ascension!!!”

BOOOM!

Zephyrus erupted with power, striking my chest and hurling me skyward. My scales began to fracture, and my enhanced, muscular goddess form wavered for the first time!

All my meridians trembled violently, his blow had been designed to obliterate any opponent completely.

”Hahaha...!”

But it wasn’t enough.

”Amazing!”

”Y-You...!”

He suddenly froze in horror as I reappeared before him, even as his fists drove me higher into the skies.

Hundreds of spears forged from light and demonic darkness surrounded me in an instant, poised to impale my entire body.

However.

”Divine Yggdragon Swordsmanship.”

”The Fifth Form.”

”Dragon Blade Genesis!”

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

With one sweeping motion of my blade, dozens of draconic claws, fangs, and tails surged forth, tearing through everything in my path.

This was Dragon Blade Genesis, the technique of compressing and unleashing every ounce of my draconic power in a single devastating strike through my sword.

The fifth form of my ever-evolving Divine Yggdragon Swordsmanship, constantly refined in the heat of battle.

Now.

”How are you going to escape this, brother?!”

Countless rainbow-hued slashes rained down as I swung against him, striking from every angle.

His sturdy armor cracked and shattered, exposing the vulnerable flesh beneath.

”Nnnggh...!”

Yet he was already adapting, fusing his flesh and blood directly with the armor, unleashing an even fiercer surge of power.

”I see. Then hurry up—your sister’s patience isn’t what it used to be!”

I lunged forward with Divine Thunder Blade Step, a martial art blending my Divine Thunder Ring power with Yggdragon Swordsmanship and various movement techniques.

My body transformed into a thunderous blade and pierced straight through Zephyrus, reappearing behind him.

”G-Gaaah?!”

Before he could fully transform, it seemed victory was mine.

...

Or not.

”HAAAAAHHHH!”

With a thunderous roar, Zephyrus merged completely with his armor. No longer did he need external covering, his very skin had become metal.

Muscles, bones, blood, hair, eyes—everything.

His form had matured, resembling a handsome thirty-year-old man strikingly similar to our father.

A pair of demonic black wings forged from abyssal metal and angelic feathered wings of golden orichalcum burst from his back.

Now he truly embodied the fusion of god and demon, much like Nephilim herself.

”Haaa... Haaa...”

But this ”ultimate form” taxed his body far more severely than mine. The strain was already evident.

He had to end this quickly—or I would win.

So.

”Come at me. This decides everything!”

”Yes, big sister!”

He nodded and charged.

The skies tore open as explosions of multicolored flames erupted everywhere.

I swung toward his left ribs; he intercepted instantly with a spear extending from his hand.

Then he unleashed several more spears at me.

I sliced them apart, losing precious seconds while he slipped behind me and aimed a metallic clawed kick at my head.

CLAAASH!

It connected!

I plummeted downward, horns shattering, though they regenerated almost instantly.

My head reeled from the impact.

The pressure this transformation exerted barely fazed my body, thanks to the Glitched System.

But my Soul was another matter.

That strike had rattled it deeply. He had finally found my weakness.

However...

Did it matter?

He dove after me, his spears merging into a titanic lance of black-and-gold divine-demonic metal. Demonic spirit flames and holy phoenix flames surged downward.

With Ruby in hand, I raised my sword and swung with everything I had, suddenly recalling my grandfather’s technique.

And inspiration struck.

”Divine Yggdragon Swordsmanship.”

”The Sixth Form.”

”Heaven-Splitting Dragon Fang!”

An all-out assault carrying my full might erupted, cleaving the skies and colliding with Zephyrus’ desperate bid for victory.

A clash between siblings.

It was nearing its end.

Whoever pushed harder would prevail.

How long could we hold our attacks?

”Nnnggh...! Sylph!”

”Zephyrus!”

We roared each other’s names, eyes blazing with the fierce rivalry we had always craved.

Now that we stood nearly as equals, we could finally fulfill our dream of fighting with everything we had!

RUMBLE!

The skies rippled.

Then...

Zephyrus’ spear shattered into countless fragments.

My sword, Ruby, prevailed. The chromatic slash that split the heavens tore through his Aura, cracking and splitting his armored skin.

His wings vanished, as though they had never existed.

And then...

”Ah... I see...”

He smiled as he fell from the sky, reverting to his normal form.

”You were still going easy on me... huh?”

”No, I went all-out. I swear.”

”You’re such a bad liar, sister...”

I caught him before he could plummet too far, and we drifted downward slowly, admiring the mountains below.

”Thank you, Zephyrus. That was incredible...”

A deep sense of fulfillment and happiness washed over me. I sighed in relief as I realized my brother had already passed out in my arms.

Well, he had always been a sleepyhead.

.

.

.

Zephyrus woke after sleeping for many hours, stirred by the noisy uproar downstairs. The families were having dinner, and with so many people, the place was constantly loud.

”Ugh...”

He noticed half his body wrapped in bandages. The sparring match against his sister had left serious wounds, almost feeling like a fight to the death for most of the onlookers.

”Even after all that training, I still couldn’t beat big sis... She’s in a league of her own.”

He sighed and closed his eyes. A small golden flame flickered beside him, taking the shape of a tiny golden phoenix.

”Master... Don’t be sad... You are strong...”

It was his Familiar, the Golden Phoenix he had raised from an egg. She had grown into a young adult; far larger than the compact form she showed him now.

”Ah, do you think so?” Zephyrus gave a bitter smile. ”I guess it was pretty dumb of me... Why was I so obsessed with fighting my sister and proving something? I suppose I have a bit of an inferiority complex for some reason...”

”Hm... I don’t understand what that is...”

”Haha, it’s fine if you don’t get it, Marie,” Zephyrus said. He had named his Phoenix Familiar after an Ancient Saint he learned about while living among the Celestials. ”We humans have silly thoughts in our heads that make us believe stupid things.”

”Hmm, but why?” Marie wondered. ”Well... it doesn’t matter... What matters is that master is strong. Your big sister is strong too... but master is strong regardless. Marie believes the battle between master and his sister was very close.”

”Is that so?” Zephyrus asked, gently caressing her head. ”Thank you for the kind words...”
