[To obtain a Rare rank, you, the Hosts, need to overcome the 4th floor, being of the Golden rank, and the 7th floor (Previously – 5th floor) for the epic.]

Adjusted in chapter 1069:

As for the others, Nemo, Lina, Lucinda and Esma ventured to challenge the 7th floor (Previously – 5th floor), where they encountered a sixth-rank creature. And despite the defeat, it certainly caused a wave of surprise and admiration among the members of the Kingdom.

=======================

After entering through the gate, Idan and Arabel found themselves in the private lobby of the Dungeon Systems. There weren’t many people here—most of them were in the Dungeon Simulator or in the Nexus.

As they knew, the Nexus was slowly but surely developing, although not as fast as they would like. All because of the restrictions on visits.

On their way to the gate of the Tower of Trials, Idan and Arabel met several acquaintances and nodded to them in greeting.

Of course, the appearance of the two Kingdom Leaders attracted everyone’s attention.

Ignoring the curious stares, Idan and Arabel approached the Gate of the Tower of Trials.

The first thing they decided to do was check the rating wall. They used to occupy the first two places in the list of “Golden Rank” creatures.

However, now they were surprised to find that they had dropped to 22th and 23th places, respectively.

——————–

The Rating of “Golden Ranks”.

…

22. Most Handsome King

23. Most Beautiful Queen

…

——————–

“Considering that we’re staying on the fourth floor, it’s not surprising,” Idan said.

Arabel nodded in agreement.

They didn’t consider themselves to be the strongest Awakened in the world. The world was huge, and the ranking showed all the Golden-ranked creatures that had challenged the Tower of Trials since its opening. And this ranking demonstrated that at least 11 Golden-ranked creatures were able to pass at least the fifth floor.

Among these 21 nicknames, they noticed two acquaintances: Soul Queen and Lord of the Dead.

After paying 200 System Points for the two of them to enter, they entered the gate. By this time, almost the entire Lobby had already gathered behind them to see with their own eyes what heights their Leaders would reach.

Inside the Tower of Trials, Idan and Arabel found themselves in a familiar small arena.

[Welcome to the 1st Floor of the Tower of Trials.] — the same friendly voice greeted them.

[The Examinees’ Rank Is Golden.]

[Discovered uniqueness — Pairing.]

[The trial is being adjusted.]

“It’s my turn this time,” Arabel said, stepping forward. Two wolf-like beasts appeared not far from her.

[Defeat 2 initial Golden-ranked beasts.]

Idan didn’t object. His gaze was fixed on his wife’s back, who was confidently walking forward. His eyes involuntarily dropped lower and lingered on her swaying hips.

Arabel felt his gaze on her, and a smile spread across her face.

Like Idan before, Arabel did not use her bloodlines and sword.

She bound the two wolves with her Soul Force, then pointed at them with her index finger and created two ice spears, shooting them right in the forehead.

Idan clapped his hands, congratulating his wife on her first victory, and a smile appeared on her face.

[Welcome to the 2nd Floor of the Tower of Trials.]

[Defeat 2 mid-Golden ranked beasts.]

[Welcome to the 3rd Floor of the Tower of Trials.]

[Defeat 2 peak Golden ranked beasts.]

Arabel climbed the first three floors without much difficulty.

[Defeat 2 initial Platinum-ranked beasts.]

It wasn’t until she reached the fourth floor that Arabel decided to transform into a Valkyrie. Not the Ice Valkyrie, but the Dark Valkyrie.

In her hands, the wedding ring known as the “Vow of Darkness” transformed into the Dark Queen Sword, ready for battle.

The choice of the Dark Valkyrie surprised Idan. It had been a long time since he had seen her in such a dark and gloomy image, which gave her a special charm. In the form of an Ice Valkyrie, she seemed cold and indifferent, but in his hands her ice melted.

One day, he melted that ice with his fire in bed.

And now, looking at this Dark Valkyrie, he began to imagine what she would be like in bed in this image.

She caught them very quickly, without even moving. With just a tilt of her head, her dark hair sliced the lizards apart.

All Idan managed to see was a bloody mess, and then Arabel’s dark eyes and her wide smile.

Idan swallowed hard, imagining Arabel tying him up with her hair and doing dirty things to him.

They were then teleported to another arena.

[Welcome to the 5th floor of the Tower of Trials.]

[Defeat 2 mid-Platinum ranked beasts.]

“Hmm… are there still two Platinum—ranked beasts?” said Arabel, turning to Idan.

“They’re yours,” Idan said, making it clear that he wasn’t going to interfere.

Two huge snakes appeared on the opposite side of the arena, one red and one white.

“Fire serpent and ice serpent?” thought Arabel. “It doesn’t matter, though.”

These creatures posed no threat to her.

This time, she confidently stepped forward and, activating {Concealment}, disappeared from sight.

The snakes, having lost sight of her, began to look around. Sensing danger, they cast an area spell, enveloping the surrounding space with waves of icy energy and fire.

However, they didn’t know that it was useless against Arabel.

The two snakes didn’t even notice how their severed heads fell to the ground with a thud, and the fight was over.

Idan was not surprised by the ease with which Arabel dealt with her opponents. The test was designed for the Golden rank, whereas her real strength had already reached the Diamond Rank.

And this is without any enhancements. With the enhancements, their strength was already beyond the Diamond Rank.

[Welcome to the 6th floor of the Tower of Trials.]

[Defeat 2 peak Platinum-ranked beasts.]

Arabel easily crossed this floor, instantly beheading two Feline Beasts.

[Welcome to the 7th floor of the Tower of Trials.]

[Defeat 2 initial Diamond rank beasts.]

“Can I help you?” asked Idan of Arabel.

“No,” — Arabel shook her head. “I can handle it on my own.”

Before the enemies appeared in front of her, Arabel activated {Ghost Stats} and increased her {Dexterity} stat.

Her dark sword shone with a silver light.

“The element of space!” exclaimed Idan in amazement, for the first time watching Arabel use this element.

Suddenly, she disappeared, leaving behind only a dark trail. A moment later, her figure appeared directly above the two beasts that had just appeared. Idan only saw a huge silver arc that split the two beasts in half.

And at the same moment, a system notification appeared in front of him.

[Ding! Tower of Trial achievement obtained: “Challenging the Impossible”]

[As Golden-ranked creatures, defeat Diamond-ranked opponents.]
