Chapter 1227: The Rain Clan

“Let me start by saying that I was born after the Rain Clan fell and was destroyed. All I can tell you is what has reached us, and there is no guarantee that all this is true,” Milica began, glancing at Sierra.

“I was also born much later than all these events,” Sierra confessed. Then she looked at Geminia and Ilvaina. “If anyone caught this moment and knows the whole truth from those present here, it’s only these two.”

Geminia took her words calmly and only smiled in response to the questioning looks from the others.

And Ilvaina did not even move the muscles of her face, remaining impassive.

Before revealing the following information, Milica looked at Idan, who had Alpha bloodlines, and Nemo, a descendant of the Rain Clan.

“The Rain Clan is not a separate race. This is a clan created by the “Uniqums” of the Alpha race.”

“Uniqums?” Arabel raised an eyebrow.

“So they’re Alphas?” Milena blinked in surprise.

“Uniqums are representatives of races that are born with any serious abnormalities or mutations and are very different from their relatives,” Miliсa answered Arabel’s question.

In response to Milena’s question, she nodded,

“Yes, they are Alphas by origin. To be more precise, the Rain Clan is a type of Alpha race.”

Nemo, stunned by this revelation, looked at Idan and, noticing his equanimity, asked:

“Did you know about this?”

“Yes,” Idan did not hide it. “During Ned’s resurrection, Geminia shared information about the Uniqums with me and revealed that the Rain Clan are the Uniqums of the Alpha race.”

“Ouch!” — Idan exclaimed when Arabel pinched his side and asked indignantly:

“And when were you going to share this with me?”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I was really going to tell you about this, but at that moment you fell into Darkia’s trap, and Ned and I rushed to help. And then our wedding took place, and it completely slipped my mind,” Idan apologized.

“Oh, that’s it.”, — Arabel realized, and smiled. “Apologies accepted.”

Milica, like the others, watched the interaction of her students with interest. After a short break, she continued:

“As you already know from Idan’s example, Alphas are the race closest to magic. There are even rumors among us elves that the first Alphas were born by Mana herself.”

Everyone immediately turned to Geminia and Ilvain, waiting for Milica’s confirmation, but they did not confirm or deny it.

The next moment, noticing Nemo’s thoughtfulness, Milisa, instead of revealing everything herself, asked him a direct question.:

“I think you’ve already figured out what makes the Rain Clan different from the Alphas and what exactly makes them Uniqum?”

Nemo said the first thing that came to his mind.:

“Inability to use magic?”

This could explain why, as many say, he has a huge supply of mana, but he himself cannot feel it. Even during his recent breakthrough, when the seal weakened slightly and his bloodline awakened, Nemo did not feel the slightest sign of mana, let alone his affinity with the elements.

“Yes, they are Alphas devoid of magic,” Milica nodded.

For an Alpha, magic was everything. And to be among such a race, without being able to use it… Idan and the others didn’t even need to guess how they treated such… flawed ones.

What Milica said next confirmed their suspicions.

Uniqums in the world of Junonia are disliked by all races, and Alphas were no exception to this rule.

For some reason, the number of Uniqums born among Alphas was significantly higher than among other races.

From what Milica knew, Alphas born without magic had been oppressed by their race for many years. Many of them died unable to withstand the pressure and bullying.

And those who managed to survive felt like a disgrace to their race all their lives.

“But everything changed with the appearance of one Uniqum who not only managed to survive under the pressure of his race, but also revealed the secret of those who were called “flawed.” He was the first to awaken his special physique and use it to create his own Bloodline Domain. This was the beginning of the split and the foundation of the Clan, which later became known as the Rain Clan.”

At that moment, no one asked Milica any questions, everyone listened attentively to the history of the Rain Clan.

According to Milica, the clan started out as small, weak, and secretive. But ever since they discovered the secret of their physique, they quickly began to gain strength and gradually gain fame.

Their special physiques were perfect for the Path of Mastery and aura Awakening.

“It was the Rain Clan that took the Path of Mastery to unprecedented heights and opened up many abilities, including the one Nemo had used before, Rampage,” Milisa said, looking at her disciple. “Subsequently, other races learned this ability, including the human race, which adapted the Rampage to suit themselves. But it was in the hands of a member of the Rain Clan that the Rampage showed its might and terrified many.”

And then Sierra intervened in the conversation.:

“In addition, the Rain Clan possessed a set of Dark Weapons. Right now, one of those daggers is in Nemo’s hands.”

Hailey turned to Nemo in surprise, only now realizing how unique the two dark daggers he used were.

“According to rumors, the legendary blacksmith who created them was the best friend of the clan leader. He created this set especially for his friend, but in the end it became his downfall. After the set was created, he disappeared, and no one knows what happened to him,” Sierra added.

Idan and Arabel had already heard about Dark Weapons and the Legendary Blacksmith who created not only Dark Weapons, but also a whole set of Sacred Weapons.

Sierra, of course, did not delve into this topic, only listing the types of weapons that were included in this set, but did not mention the Dark King’s Crown. This, of course, immediately attracted the attention of Idan and Arabel, but they decided to remain silent.

“Like their meteoric rise, the Rain Clan also had a meteoric fall,” Milica said with a sigh. “It is still unknown exactly what caused them to fall.”

“Although many argue and claim that the Alphas were behind their downfall, there are also rumors that the whole world was against them.”

And then Geminia, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke.:

“Since you’re all willing to help Nemo become the World King, I think you should know about it. The World Kings were behind the fall of the Rain Clan, and the one who put the curse on their Bloodline Domain is the Will of Junonia itself.”
