As a result, the fans who were loyal to Celestial Master Zuo decided to take their revenge on Gu Xijiu, and some people even had the idea to assassinate her. However, they dismissed the idea as Mu Feng had announced that whoever that went against Gu Xijiu was considered an enemy to Di Fuyi.

Gu Xietian was the angriest among the crowd. His daughter had been living in Fucang Hall during the first three months. He fought for a long time before he was allowed to bring his daughter home for half a month. However, five days after his daughter had gone home, she had gone missing again.

He went to the palace and requested to see his daughter, but he had been told that Celestial Master Zuo knew what he was doing and would send Gu Xijiu back on the eve of the wedding. What happened in the end?! Di Fuyi had broken his promise!

Not only did he not send his daughter back on the eve of the wedding, but he had also announced that the marriage was canceled on the day that he should have done so! He was still unable to meet his daughter! It was unbearable for him.

Gu Xietian was a bad-tempered person. These days, he was prejudiced towards Celestial Master Zuo. However, there was nothing much he could do to him as Di Fuyi had a rather high status. Nevertheless, his daughter was going to marry him. As a result, he decided to hold back his anger every day.

He never expected that Di Fuyi would call off the wedding, and as a result, Gu Xietian was discouraged. He then decided to revisit Fucang Hall and requested to bring his daughter home. He was polite and said, ”Since my daughter is not a perfect match for Celestial Master Zuo, please return her to me. Please don’t bully old people like me…”

However, these words could only be heard by the concierges of the Fucang Palace. He was not allowed to enter the palace without the emperor’s permission, and Di Fuyi did not take the initiative to meet him.

He was hopeless and helpless to see his daughter. He tried his best to pass the concierges, but he could not even beat them. The concierges pretended to be deaf and dumb when he scolded them. They stopped him when he tried entering the palace to the extent that he was unable to step foot on the entrance.

The concierges had been given instructions as they did not hurt Gu Xietian. Instead, they just kept him far away from the palace and asked him to get lost.

Gu Xietian fought very hard for his daughter. He used to be a gangster and got more and more angry with each passing minute. Every time he was pushed back by the concierges, he would approach them again. However, his effort was useless until the evening came when he met Long Siye who had showed up to inquire.

Gu Xietian saw Long Siye as a savior as he was exhausted from fighting against the concierges. He told him wrathfully what had happened in detail from the beginning to the end. He then clarified that his purpose was only to bring his daughter home.

Long Siye was silent after hearing Gu Xietian’s concerns. He then instructed the concierges to make a report to the emperor saying that Tian Wen’s overlord had requested to see him regarding a matter concerning the heaven’s gift disciples.

Celestial Master Zuo had instructed the concierges to report anything related to the disciples promptly. Therefore, one of the concierges quickly headed into the palace and reported it to the emperor. Shortly after that, Long Siye was invited to enter.

Gu Xietian wanted to follow him, but the concierges stopped him. Long Siye comforted Gu Xietian and promised him that he would help him to solve this matter. Gu Xietian had no choice but to wait outside.

As usual, Long Siye met the emperor in the guest hall. He was surprised and distracted for a while. Di Fuyi was sitting in the guest hall, and he was dressed in a white robe. He seemed to have lost weight.
