The Billionaire's Heir I Never Knew Was Mine

Sienna took a slow breath before moving toward the kitchen, slipping back into her responsibilities.

Cleaning up the mess she left behind after cooking the best breakfast for two. Luckily, it didn’t take her long to clean up.

Once everything was done, she prepared a small, easy breakfast for herself. Nothing fancy. She simply made the same breakfast as before, minus the mess.

After Sienna finished preparing her breakfast, she took it to her bedroom rather than eating in the kitchen.

Her bedroom space felt more personal now, less unfamiliar than it had been the night before.

While enjoying her sandwich, she also took in the beautiful scenery through the window. She looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Zachary and Skylar, but all she could see were the lush greenery and majestic mountains reaching into the sky.

But then, out of nowhere, a quick buzz broke the silence. Sienna glanced at the cushion at the sofa’s end.

She remembered hiding her cell phone there last night. Lazily, she picked it up.

As the screen lit up, her eyes immediately caught something unexpected. A new message, from an unknown number.

At first, she thought it might be her family. The timing wasn’t unusual, and anonymous numbers weren’t exactly rare when it came to them.

But as she opened the message and read its contents, her expression instantly changed.

”Sienna, congratulations on your win. Enjoy it before I take back everything and leave you with nothing.”

Sienna frowned, confused, upon receiving such a malicious text message.

”Who the hell is this person? How do they know my cell number?”

She stood from her seat, pacing around the room, trying to remember if she had ever seen the number.

But before she could recall, her step suddenly halted as something crossed her mind.

”It must be a she! Is it her?”

Sienna didn’t need to remember the number because she knew exactly who sent the message. It had to be Angie Feliz!

She returned to the sofa, letting out a slow breath as she reread the text.

Her voice dropped to an icy whisper. ”Angie Feliz...” Her grip on the phone tightened. ”I didn’t get it! Why did you hate me so much?”

She took a deep breath as she placed her phone down beside her on the sofa.

For a moment, she simply stared at it, as if expecting the screen to light up again with another message. But it remained still, silent.

She leaned back, pressing her head lightly against the cushion.

For now, she will put aside Angie Feliz.

She also no longer wanted to check her cell phone, afraid those texts would make her worry again. Right now, it felt like that small device held nothing but trouble, capable of shifting her mood in seconds.

However, once again, her mind refused to cooperate.

”Enjoy it before I take back everything and leave you with nothing.”

The sentence now has Angie’s harsh and unfriendly voice in her mind. And that sentence repeats again and again until she feels lightheaded.

”Girl, you can’t take this matter lightly...” she murmured under her breath, her fingers curling slightly against the sofa’s fabric.

Her eyes drifted toward the window, but she didn’t really see the garden anymore. Her mind is busy thinking about the text message.

”That crazy woman is capable of anything to bring me down...”

She let out a long breath and closed her eyes, trying to think clearly.

”Think of a way, Sienna. But don’t panic!”

Then, almost immediately, a name popped into her mind like an uninvited guest who had somehow entered without knocking.

”Oh, right, I have Riley...”

She opened her eyes again, sitting up straighter.

Hurriedly, she took her phone without hesitation this time. ”I need to consult him. He’s capable of things like this...”

If there was anyone who could handle something shady, complicated, or slightly illegal, but in a charming way, it was Riley.

Her fingers moved quickly as she searched for his name, pressing the call before she could second-guess herself.

On the second ring, the call was answered.

”Sienna, are you alright?!” His voice came through immediately, hoarse and slightly rough, like someone who had just woken up. Still, the worry in his tone was unmistakable.

”My goodness, why do you sound panicked. Of course I’m fine...” she said calmly, though she softened her tone a little, knowing exactly why he sounded that way.

Because last night, she had told them she was in her hometown, dealing with family problems.

”Are you sure?” Riley asked again, clearly unconvinced. There was a faint rustle on his end, as if he had already sat up, now fully alert.

”Yes,” she replied, a little more firmly this time. Then she hurried to add, ”But I called you about something else...”

She interrupted him before he could continue his interrogation.

There was a brief pause.

”Oh?” Riley’s voice shifted instantly, the worry fading into something far more familiar. Enthusiastic, playful, and just slightly dramatic. ”About what? Don’t tell me about your boyfriend? Please don’t tell me now, this is too early in the morning for that. Not before my third cup of coffee.”

Sienna closed her eyes, already feeling a headache forming.

”For God’s sake, Riley Davis... stop trusting Ava,” she said flatly. ”I don’t have the luxury of having a boyfriend right now.”

That earned a laugh from him. Loud, unapologetic, and entirely too awake for someone who had just been half-asleep seconds ago.

”Alright, alright,” he said, still amused. ”Tell me what you really want me to do this early morning on my lovely weekend?”

”Riley, I got a text...” Her tone shifted back to serious as she prepared to explain everything to him.

”Text? What text?”

Sienna told him about a message she received from an unknown number and said she suspected Angie sent it.

”Damn it, that woman!” Riley cursed. ”What’s the point of sending that threatening message?”

Sienna leaned back again, staring at the ceiling.

”Well, my friend,” she replied dryly. ”If I knew the answer, I wouldn’t have called you.”
