Reborn as a Weak Beauty Pampered by All

Chapter 1157: Chapter 1137

”So you had a misunderstanding with Wang Min, and then you and Yiyang had a quarrel. That call before was from Yiyang trying to clear things up with you, right?”

Putting down her chopsticks, Lin Dan covered her face, ”Mom, can you stop talking? I feel so stupid, and childish!”

Yuan Li chuckled at her words, ”Alright, there’s nothing to be ashamed of! Remember to use your brain more in the future, and don’t jump to conclusions over small things and misunderstand Yiyang. Otherwise, you won’t need anyone else to break you two apart; you’ll do it on your own.”

”I won’t.”

Lin Dan replied very firmly.

”That’s not necessarily true.” Yuan Li said, ”Feelings can’t stand suspicion. If you like someone, you first need to trust them. If there’s any doubt in your heart because of something, you should sit down and talk it out to clear things up, not sulk alone.”

”I just... I just ignored him for two or three days, it’s nothing major!”

Lin Dan mumbled as she poked the noodles in her bowl with her chopsticks.

”Do you think you still have the right to be upset?”

Yuan Li raised an eyebrow.

”No.” Lin Dan quickly shook her head, ”It’s my fault, I’ll... I’ll apologize to Yiyang later, is that okay?”

With a soft sigh, Yuan Li looked at her with affection and a tinge of helplessness, ”Remember, you were the one who pursued Yiyang, asking him to date you. From the perspective of feelings, you’re clearly at a disadvantage. If you can’t offer enough trust in daily life, do you think your relationship will be stable?”

”Mom, I...”

Lin Dan felt that she was just simply dating, but when her mother talked about it, things became so complicated that her mind felt overwhelmed.

”But maybe you’re just blessed with luck even in your silliness...”

Before Yuan Li could finish her sentence, Lin Dan interrupted, ”I’m not silly!”

”Alright, alright, you’re not silly.” Yuan Li suppressed a laugh and said, ”Through over a year of observation, both your father and I can see that Yiyang is truly sincere with you. You shouldn’t be so capricious and casually quarrel with Yiyang like before. If you feel wronged, just ask Yiyang directly in person to see what he says, okay?”

Lin Dan nodded vigorously, ”Okay.”

”When it comes to matters of the heart, your mom can’t help you much, nor can I help you directly. I can only teach you some simple truths about getting along with others in daily life. I hope it helps you.”

Looking at her daughter, Yuan Li’s gaze was both gentle and loving.

”My mom is the best. I learned a lot from what you just said, thank you!” Lin Dan thought about the quarrel with Kang Yiyang from another perspective, imagining if it was her in his shoes, and because he had a bit of physical contact with some other female classmate, then ignored her for several days, just thinking of that made her feel terrible.

This shows that Kang Yiyang probably hasn’t had an easy time these past few days. But how did he know she started ignoring him because of a misunderstanding?

Yuan Li, not knowing what Lin Dan was thinking, suddenly brought up Wang Min’s case, ”If Minmin really has the intentions you mentioned, it might be best to keep some distance from her in the future.”

Lin Dan’s wandering thoughts were brought back by her mom’s voice, and she pouted, ”Even if she didn’t admit it, I’ve made things clear to her. If she tries any tricks again and I catch her, I definitely won’t be polite to her.”
